Just a small transition chapter, still has necessary pieces to the whole like all the other chapters. This was a more relaxed chapter than the others because I was both unmotivated and wanted to give Eden a break.

Chapter 10
New Beginnings… Again

Eden can’t leave the hospital for a few weeks until the doctor’s find out if he fully healed, apparently something inside him broke or something. I know that sounds mean, but I’m still pissed that me, Cylvia, and Kael haven’t found the guy who did this. What’s worse is that I think Kael… Damn it.
I sighed and kept on walking towards the restroom that Eden was found in, finding Kael walking in already, I couldn’t go in anyways.
“Hurry up!” I yelled, trying to keep my self control, he was just way too fucking hot.
“Hold up! I think I found something!” He said before walking out with a wallet in his hands, grinning.
“Eden will be avenged,” he said happily, and it hurt to hear him say Eden’s name that way. He looks at me confused at my sudden expression change.
“What?” He asked, I nodded no, “Nothing, let’s go to Cylvia then look at it.”
We walked together awkwardly, I kept on looking over at him, but I could tell he was thinking of Eden from his expression.
Cylvia saw us walking and skipped over, “Did you guys find anything?”
“Yeah, here,” Kael said, handing over the wallet, she opened it and glared at the picture inside.
“You two look at the picture and tell me if you know him,” she said angrily, showing us a picture of one of Katherine’s friends.
“Hey, that’s my ex-friend’s friend,” I said trying not to laugh at how weird that sounded, she got excited.
“Who is he,” she said with venom in her voice, which really scared me. She was angrier than me, then again I’m trying not to flip out and scare Kaelen away, hahaha.
“Lester, and I’m glad he did that,” Katherine said coming out of nowhere. Cylvia tried to run up and punch her again, but Kael held her.
“LET ME PUNCH THE BITCH!” She screamed, her middle finger flashed in Katherine’s face.
“Calm down,” Kael said, his deep voice making me shiver.
She stopped, but as Kael let go of her she slapped Katherine who screamed, before running away before Cylvia got any more mad.
“THAT’S WHAT YOU GET FOR MESSING WITH A BIG BOOBED BITCH’S FOSTER COUSIN YOU FUCKTARD!” She screamed as she laughed evilly.
“Let’s go talk to Eden, and see if he remembers,” I said, leading us to Kary’s car as the bell signifying school’s end rang.

It’s been a few days in the hospital, Jay brings my homework like the great… Whatever he is to me, he is. Every single day he comes here and stays with me until he’s forced to leave. Today was Friday though, so there was no homework, I’m wondering if he’ll come today.
I sat there, my notebook and coloured untensils in my hands as I held it near my chest, I hadn’t gotten any dreams so I tried my best to draw that one mansion that Azure and Auburn lived in.
I always hid the book so no one would see what I drew, they would question too much. I opened it up and started on Azure, since the driveway was done.
He was really pretty, and cute. Looked like an older version of me, dressed in a white dress shirt and black skinny jeans, his wings spanning out behind him, the light reflecting the array of colours, shining in my eyes. He had blue-ish grey eyes, and was between being pale and tan. Short light brown hair, covering his left eye.
Then there was Auburn, a badass looking chick, wearing a black no strap dress. Her long red hair flowing down her, making her look like a seductress. She had piercing purple irises. Her skin was completely pale, causing her to have an almost vampiric look, her skin glowing a bit red.
They looked… Like me, almost exact copies as if they were me. At least the drawing was almost complete, the house and the surrounding trees were the only things left.
Then I noticed the sun and the moon floating in the background, the moon above Azure and the sun above Auburn. I was about to question this when I heard the door open.
“Eden?” Jay called as I quickly hid the notebook, staring at the window as if I had been looking out it. He sat down next to me and put his hand over mine.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” He asked, I looked over at him.
“Nothing,” I said, my heart beating faster from his touch, which ignited my heart with a passion like no other.
“Can I ask you something?” He asked after a long moment of silence, I looked at him expectantly, waiting for his question.
“What is it?” I asked, his blue eyes giving me a soft stare, looking into my own.
He gulped, as if what he was going to ask was farfetched and stupid, something unworthy of saying to me, “After you get out of the hospital, would you like to go on a date with me?”
And that was when Summer burst into the room.
“I FOUND THE BASTARD!”

I ran into the hospital and went straight to Eden’s room, ignoring the receptionist, who ignored me anyways, asshole.
I burst through the door and yelled, “I FOUND THE BASTARD!”
Waving the wallet above my head in triumph, to notice that I had ruined of their moments, so I awkwardly tried to scoot out of the room. Eden laughed and Jay sighed deeply, extending his hand out for the wallet. I threw it to him and slid out the door.
I bumped into another person, it was a guy judging by the chest region, I turned around and saw Kael. I stiffened instantly and my breath caught. He looked down at me, his eyebrows raised.
“What are you doing?” He asked as I tried to control myself.
“Um, no-nothing,” I said walking back into the room, I DON’T CARE IF JAY GET’S MAD I AM NOT GOING TO LOSE IT GOD DAMN IT!
I backed up into the door and found Jay and Eden holding hands looking at each other in a very cute way. AAAGH, FANGIRLGASM, AAAAAAAGH.
