Jesse’s p.o.v.
We’re sitting on the couch watching tv with the girls. We’re watching a show about a boy and a girl who are in love. It’s so cliché and yet, so relatable. Everytime something romantic happens Joey and I exchange looks. I still get all giddy thinking about what just happened. I like how we don’t specify things. It’s nice to just be able to kiss him without having to have a big talk about why I did it or what our ‘relationship’ is.
Joey’s p.o.v.
It’s really confusing. One time he says I should get a girl, the other he kisses m . Speaking of girls, I really feel like one. I mean, the other day I was on a date with Kallie and I picked a flower and said ‘she loves me, she loves me not’ but at a certain point I accidentally said ‘he’ and she was so confused. Thank God she didn’t make a big deal about it. But the outcome of the ‘he loves me, she loves me not’ is still unsure because who was it about? Kallie or Jesse? I’m not telling.
The show we’re watching is called ‘True Darlings’ and it’s so cheesy someone with cheese allergies would die watching this. But still, every romantic moment Jesse and I exchange looks.
I look at him when the couple kisses. He looks at me too. I grab his hand behind the couch so one can see. Than Danny comes home. “Hey, guys!” He says hanging his coat on the coat rack. “Daddy!” Michelle exclaims looking at us excitedly. We quickly let go of eachother before danny has a chance to see. “What did you say, Michelle?” He says with a big smile on his face. He picks her up like when simba was born in The Lion King. “Did you just say daddy? Aww I’m so proud of you..” he continiues hugging and kissing her. “See guys, I knew she’d say it.” He says proudly as he takes her to the kitchen. Jesse and I look at eachother and try not to laugh.
He loves me.
