Jesse’s p.o.v.
It’s been about a month since Joey’s started dating that girl. I still can’t stand it but I’ve learned to live with it, I guess. I’ve had a couple of one night stands since then but none of them really satisfied me. I don’t know what’s wrong.
I make my way to Michelle’s room and carry her out of her crib. I sit down on a chair and put her on my lap.
“I don’t know, Michelle. Stuff’s gotten really messed up. I don’t seem to be able to have a good time anymore without Joey there. I have no clue why.” She looks at me confused. “Ahh, why am I trying to explain this to you, you won’t understand anyway.” After that Michelle claps heavily making me chuckle. She always knows how to cheer me up. I’m about to tickle her when Joey comes in. “Hey, Jess.” He says sitting down next to me. “Hey, Joseph.” I say. “You know, Danny’s been trying to teach Michelle how to say ‘daddy’ maybe we should help him out.” “Alright, good idea. Come on Michelle, say ‘daddy’ ” “Plehh!” Michell says sticking out her tongue. “Say ‘daddy’!” Says Joey wrapping an arm around me like we’re her parents. A blush emerges on my face. “I don’t think she’s gonna say it anytime soon..” I tell him, accidentally staring at his lips. “Maybe we should show her ‘parent-like’ things..” At that point I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I turn his head towards me and whisper in his ear. “Like this?” I kiss him on his lips. My emotions are so high right now and if Michelle weren’t here this wouldn’t be the end of it but she is so I pull my face away. He looks schocked yet satisfied, like he’s been wanting to do that all this time as well. “Daddy!” Michelle screams, clapping. We both laugh our butts off at that and kiss her cheek simultaneousely.
