Jacob’s P.O.V
“I love you.” Andrew leaned in and pressed his lips to mine. He stood up straight, giving him dominance in the kiss because he was a little taller then me. I put my hand up to his cheek and wiped away the tears, not once breaking the kiss. After a moment I brought my hand to his neck and traced a line with my finger. He gripped my waist and deepened the kiss. I let his tongue have entrance into my mouth and the more he leaned in, the more I stepped back. Eventually I fell onto the bed, breaking the kiss. He towered over me, looking into my eyes. His face was flustered, his eyes were scared and confused. He was leaning in again but before I could close the space, he pulled back. He stood up and began pacing the room. “Oh god Jacob, I’m so sorry that should’ve…. never happened.” He looked at me.
That stung a little. His eyes and the way he trembled slightly told me that he really was confused. I got up from the bed and walked over to him.
“No, it’s alright… I-I liked it.” He looked shocked at what I just said.
“What?”
“I…I have something to confess… but I need you to understand and to not be angry…” His expression relaxed. He walked over and placed his hand on my shoulder.
“You’re my best friend… I will always try to understand.” He smiled. I looked down, thinking of how to say this.
“W-well… I am… in…l-love ..with you…” I trailed off near the end so I don’t think that he heard me. I looked up to meet his surprised looked. I searched his face for disgust, resentment or anger. I found neither, instead he stood there just, surprised.
“You’re IN love with me?” I slowly nodded. “But, how?”
“I’m Bi…”
“Oh… well, I-I’m sorry but… I can’t feel that way for you…”
“You’re worried about what people would think?”
“No of course not, it’s just… I’m sorry but honestly I’ve tried. I-” I cut him off.
“You tried to be ‘gay’ for me?” We both chuckled as I made air quotes.
“Yeah, I tried but I guess I can’t… I hope this doesn’t affect our friendship.” He looked a little worried and I smiled.
“It won’t… I thought it would but I guess the rejection didn’t hurt as much as I expected. Cuz to be honest, I was head over heels for you.” He laughed and eventually I joined.
“You were THAT into me? Wow, guess I am sexy.” He winked as he ran his hands down his body. I laughed at his stupidity. “But wait…” His eyes grew wide and he had a smirk but it quickly disappeared when I gave him a curious look. “So tell me what really went on between you and Glen.” Damn, he really wanted to know.
“Um.. Well, for a while.. He was my boyfriend-“
“I KNEW IT!” He yelled as he jumped up and down. He stopped and had a proud smirk on his face, like someone who just found out that the person they guessed was actually the person their friend liked. This boy could be so childish sometimes. I wonder how he is older than me. He stopped smiling and began to think deeply. “You said ‘was’… What happened?” He looked at me.
“H-he kinda told me to leave him… so that I could pursue you… and after all that I put him through… I doubt that he wants to see me.” A tear escaped my eye and I was brought into a hug. Andrew tightly wrapped his arms around me and technically I was being cradled in his arms. He kissed my forehead and sat me down on my bed.
“What a Monday.” He sighed and I chuckled.
“Yeah…” I let out a yawn and Andrew smiled.
“We should get some sleep.. especially you, after that beating.” I shuddered at the memory. That was a scary thing and Andrew was I right. I did need my rest. Immediately the image of Glen, bloody and bruised, appeared in my head. I couldn’t breath as the image grew clearer and closer. Tears rushed out of my eyes. “Jacob, what’s wrong?” Andrew asked, looking extremely worried.
“I-I’m scared… about Glen…” Andrew hugged me and stroked my hair.
“He’ll be fine… The nurse said that he’ll be fine, he just needs time to rest… It’s gonna be okay.”
“O-okay…” I trembled in his arms. “W-will you sleep with me tonight?”
“Of course. ” He smiled and we both got situated comfortably on my bed.
*Next Morning*
Andrew’s P.O.V
I walked through the halls, a little distant from my surroundings. I sighed, I can’t believe all that happened yesterday. Jacob and Glen, bruised and cut up, Angela, in her true whore nature, and having Jacob confess his love for me. Now I realized why I hate Mondays.
I crashed into someone, tall, defined and male, definitely male.
“Well well well, Wassup blondie?” The recognizable voice said. I looked up and saw Luce helping up his brother Alex. He then offered me a hand but I slapped it away and stood up.
“What the hell are you guys doing here?” I glared at them.
“We were enrolled.” Luce happily smiled.
“Wait, this school is really expensive, so how?”
“We have a rich father who left us and recently heard about this place so now he’s paying.” Alex scoffed. I guess he didn’t like his dad. “Yeah so the three of us go here now.”
“Three?” Luce nodded and grinned.
“We have a younger sister.” He winked. I gave him a weird look and sighed. Great, another one of them.
“Well, I guess I’ll be off…” I turned on my heel and was about to start walking when a hand held my shoulder. It was Alex.
“C’mon, won’t you show us around?” I turned and met the most, strangely enough, adorable puppy face that I have ever seen. “Pweaaaase.” He pouted his lip and I groaned.
“Fine. But you two better behave… Or I’ll beat the crap out of you guys.”
“Okay.” They both cheered. Damn, they were immature.
After finding that we had some of the same classes, and a tour of the school, it was time for lunch and I walked into the cafeteria, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum strolling behind me. I reached the table where Axel, Jacob and Emily were siting at. Their smiles disappeared when they saw who was behind me. Jacob, was either pissed or scared, Axel was very pissed and Emily was worried.
“Why the hell are they here?” Axel asked angrily. Jacob gasped and we all focused on him.
“Y-you guys are the new students?” He was nervous, guess these guys scared him. They both nodded and Axel watched them cautiously. I know what they did was wrong but at least their reason deserved some sympathy.
“Okay, here’s the deal…” I finally spoke, getting everyone to focus on me. “… Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum were bad when we had that situation yesterday, not saying that they are forgiven but they deserve a chance… They seem okay. So, understood?”
“You want me to give the guys who nearly killed Glen a chance?”
“Hey, we weren’t going to kill him.” Alex spoke up. Jacob ignored him and continued looking at me.
“Besides, they’re homophobes… That clearly won’t work out seeing that I’m Bi and Glen is gay.” I looked at the boys and they shrugged.
“We’re not homophobes.” Luce said kindly. He had patience that even I wouldn’t have with some people.
“Then why did you guys beat the crap out of Glen?!” Jacob snapped.
Luce sighed and looked at him with regretful eyes. He bit his lip and then began to speak.
“We were paid to, okay? We didn’t want to… We just wanted our mom to be okay… We’re sorry, I’m sorry…”
He was adorable and I guess that’s how he gets his way. And I noticed that everyone, even Jacob, had sympathetic looks.
“Fine, we’ll start over then… Only because Glen will be okay.” Jacob said.
“It’s not like he didn’t put up a fight,” Alex chuckled. “He’s a badass, …in fact all of you guys are.”
“Glad you recognized.” Axel sat back with a proud smirk. Emily rolled her eyes then looked at Alex and Luce.
“So, names?” She asked.
“Alex,” Luce pointed to his brother and then to himself, “And I’m Luce.”
“Can I ask something?” They nodded. “Why are your eyes different colors?” Luce shrugged and Alex sighed.
” ‘Cause, I’m Luce and our sister’s half-brother… ” He looked at Luce.
“Wait, what?” Luce looked at him, now confused.
“Your mom died when you were one, and although you were another woman’s child, my mother took you in…” Luce started blinking back some tears and Alex hugged him tightly. “I don’t love you any less Luce… we’re still brothers no matter what.”
“Yeah, no matter what.” He let go and smiled.
“Aww, that was soo… movie worthy.” Emily and we all laughed.
“So, when is your sister getting here?” I turned to ask them. They shrugged and I gave them a weird look. How did they not know?
Lunch was pretty much the same as always. Laughs, eating, and a decent conversation. We heard more about the boys and they actually weren’t that bad.

I was sitting in my math class, daydreaming about something. I don’t even remember what. I heard my teacher say something about a new student so I began to focus.
“Please welcome, Evangeline Mejia.” Standing next to the teacher was a girl with long light brown hair, lightly tanned complexion and a curvy figure. She was beautiful, like really beautiful. A couple of guys whistled and winked at her, and she shyly giggled. “Settle down you band of animals. Now, Ms. Mejia please sit down next to Mr. Levine.” Evangeline looked at me and our eyes met. I don’t know what it was, but I felt a spark. That was weird. She sat down next to me and smiled. I gladly returned it and then put my textbook in the middle. She was actually very shy but I guess she opened up a little to me.
I was walking with her to her next class and someone called for her.
“Hey sis!” I heard Luce yell as he caught up with us. Wait this is his sister?! Wow, that’s a little hard to believe.
“T-this is your sister?” I asked. He nodded and grinned. Why was this boy always so smiley?
“Evangeline, you should go finish unpacking. You know where the dorms are right?” She nodded. “Okay, I’ll make sure that me and Alex visit later. Bye sis.”
“Bye Luce,” She hugged him then smiled at me, “Bye Andrew, thanks for showing me around.”
“Anytime. Bye” I smiled trying to keep my cool. She blushed then began to walk away.
I watched her figure slowly disappear, then brought my attention back to Luce, who was smiling like a mad man. “What?”
“You like my sister.” Luce giggled like a little girl.
“N-no, I just met her.” He walked up to me.
“So?” He smirked then turned around. “Oh, and if you do manage to win her over, make sure not to hurt her, ’cause I will kill you.” He stood there then continued walking. “Later blondie.” I sighed and leaned on the wall. Did I like her? Now that I think about it, that was a big yes.
