(Will’s p.o.v)
Will trudged off to his cabin. He was silent, mentally punishing himself or letting Nico see him cry.
Oh, and for telling Nico that he cared about him. There was that.
He probably thinks you’re weird or you just care because you’re his friend. He won’t realise.
Will was kind of depressed at that thought. But he decided to put a positive spin on it.
At least he’s still my friend.
But he was still embarrassed that Nico had caught him blubbering.
He thought about Nico, and how he had willingly put the son of Hades in the hands of his younger half-sister.
Not necessarily safe hands.
Rachel actually suffered from mild social anxiety, and she had almost been shredded to pieces.
She didn’t even bring her guitar to the infirmary.
That was extreme for her.
Her guitar meant everything to her, as Hermes had it shipped it from her old home in England to CHB. The guitar had originally been her older sister’s.
She couldn’t play it when it was sent to her, but learnt quite quickly.
It wasn’t decorated in any way.
It was plain and brown. Nothing else.
Will often wondered about that. Everybody else in the cabin had decorated theirs with drawings or stickers. But, Will supposed that she just wanted to keep it that way for old memories’ sake.
He went back to thinking about Nico. The younger boy had been so adamant about Will taking a nap.
I hate naps, Will thought.
When he was little, he would do anything to stay awake during the day. And by anything, he meant any other thing.
It had been a while since he had a nap that he needed, and-
“Will! Are you going to stay out there spacing out, or actually come into the cabin?” One of his siblings asked.
Will snapped out of his train of thoughts to see a mildly distressed Coco staring at him from the doorway.
He mumbled a ‘sorry’ and jogged up the steps. His half-sister rolled her eyes.
“Thinking about a special someone?” She joked, wiggling her eyebrows.
When Will just sighed in response, her brow creased. “Come in,” she said.
He ended up spilling everything to his whole cabin.
His crush on Nico, how he was caught crying… the list went on.
One of his brothers sat next to him, patting his back sympathetically.
His name was Darren. He had very thick glasses, and always wore jeans.
Always.
Darren looked at Will for a moment before adding his opinion to the conversation.
“Y’know, I think Nico’s kinda hot too, if it makes you feel better,” he commented, studying Will’s face for a negative reaction. The rest of the cabin chuckles quietly, and Will smiled.
“The thing is, Darren, I’ve completely fallen for him. Like, totally.” His head dropped at the last part. “But I still really want to be his friend.”
Coco nodded from across the room and carried a tray over.
S’mores and hot chocolate. His favourite.
“You guys know me too well,” he concluded.
Many of his siblings smiled.
Darren then got up. “No offence, but the archers have gotta skat. Practice is in about ten minutes.”
Will agreed and made sure they had all they needed.
A few of the kids bounded out of the cabin, and some of the rest went to the Infirmary.
The singers needed to make more songs for the campfire.
There was something about Chiron and campfire songs.
Eventually Will remembered about the nap that he needed to have.
But I hate naps, he thought.
Too bad, another part of his mind said.
He sighed, deciding it was best to go to sleep.

I’m sososososo sorry I haven’t updated, this chapter was just a filler and I had no idea what to do with it!
Sorry for it being so short, as well.
