MIRROR | Jimin centric | ✔ - 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟏

Feeling uncomfortable all over his body, Jimin opened his eyes slowly adjusting to the light.

From his usual fluffy bed, he found himself on the hard floor of his room. His whole body ached from laying there for whole night.

Jimin’s mind was a mess. He didn’t remember why he slept on the floor instead of his bed.

He looked around the room and his eyes landed on the book and papers laying on the floor. That’s when the things happened last night rushed in to his head. His heartbeat quickened at the memory.

Maybe, they confused the name with the person. It definitely is not possible.

Without looking at the picture again, Jimin picked up the papers and book from the floor and placed it on the desk.

When he looked around, it was already morning and he realized he didn’t go to see his past lovers, his now friends.

That also means, today is the only day he will be able to save them.

There will be a party tonight, celebrating the end of shooting. Jimin decided he will use that as opportunity to go up in the dance room and free them from the curse. Everyone will be drunk to notice where he had gone to.

With that decided in mind, he did his morning routine and went out to do his make up for the shooting.

On his way, Jimin bump in to a hard chest. Rubbing his nose he looked up to find Yejun looking at him with a small smile. “Sorry.” The taller male apologised.

Jimin shook his. “It’s okay. I am sorry too.”

“Jimin, I wanted to ask you something.” Yejun started. “I was thinking, why don’t we collaborate for a song?”

Jimin’s eyes widened at the suggestion, forgetting all the things happened previous night. It was one of his dreams to collaborate with his idol, and BELLs will be so happy to hear the news. “Of course. I would like to.” He smiled. Still he didn’t felt that much excitement, he would have felt few weeks ago.

“I would like to do it by the end of this month, and it would be better if we could discuss about it tonight, as I will be flying to Japan for a commercial shoot early morning tomorrow, so.” Yejun said.

The smile on Jimin’s face dropped as soon as the words left the older male’s lips.

There is no way this happening. Tonight? His long waiting dream and he wanted to do it. Tonight, out of all these days. They have been here for two or so weeks and the older male got only this night to talk about it? He have to save them tonight. His first priority is saving his friends.

Jimin sighed. “Aren’t there a party tonight?” He tried to make a reason.

“I know. We can meet up after that.” Yejun suggested, the smile never leaving his lips.

“But, I have an online appointment with my therapist after that.” Jimin lied. He can’t say the truth to this man.

“Oh, what about after that?” Yejun looked at him concerned.

Jimin thought for some seconds, then nodded. It will work. Sleep can wait, this is important after all.

“Okay, I will see you after one o’clock. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I won’t disappoint you.” Jimin bowed his head with a polite smile.

“Then it’s settled. Meet me at the garden by that time.” Yejun returned the smile with a satisfied nod. “I believe in you.” He patted Jimin’s shoulder. “Bye.” With that he walked away.

The little hope he felt that time turned in to nervousness as soon as he thought about his six friends. He have to save them before meeting Yejun. For all of that, he need some preparation.

So as soon as the shooting ended, Jimin straightly went towards Bora. “Noona.” He called, pulling her to a secluded space. “I need your help.”

“Of course. Tell me. Are you okay?” She was concerned.

“Yes, I am.” Jimin reassured her, showing off his crescent eyes. “I am planning to lift the curse and save them tonight.”

“You found the cure for it?” She asked as excited as he is.

“Yes, and I will be saving them today.” Jimin replied, chuckling at her enthusiasm. “But there is a problem. Even if I save them, I can’t stay with them after that. They will be uncomfortable without me, so can you bring them to my room and take care of them by the time I am back?” He asked.

“Of course, I can do that. But, where are you going after that? Are you going to visit your parents?” The woman asked curiously.

“No, Noona. I am going to meet Yejun.” Jimin answered.

“WHAT?” Bora shouted, then paused to look around and turned back to him. “You are NOT going anywhere with that man.” She said sternly.

Jimin don’t understand why she don’t like Yejun. It’s all because of Wonhee.

“But I have to noona. He want me to collaborate with him.” Jimin was excited to inform her.

“Then I am coming with you.” She announced.

Jimin shook his head in disapproval. “Then who will take care of them?” Crossing his arms on chest, he glared at her.

“We can tell Wonhee to do that.” Bora suggested.

“No, I don’t trust him that much to give my friend’s responsibility to him. Please, Noona. I will take care of myself. If something happens, I will definitely call you.” He assured.

“Okay.” She nodded after thinking for sometimes. “I will take care of the rest then.”

“Thank you, Noona.” Jimin hugged her excitedly. “Also, please book a SUV for us to travel back. As you know, they don’t have any ID to use for flight. Also, arrange some clothes for them. We can’t walk around with them in those traditional clothes after all.” He smiled.

Bora nodded her head with a chuckle. “See you then. I will arrange them.”

“Bye, thank you so much.” Jimin waved her goodbye. He have some preparations to do before night, after all.

“Jiminie, you are here.” Jungkook ran to the mirror his hands pressing against the glass, a wide relieved smile playing on his lips.

Jimin smiled back at him, locking the door as he made his way towards the wall mirror. He hadn’t visited them previous night, and they might be really scared that he left them.

“I found the cure for this curse.” Jimin announced.

“Did you?” Hoseok’s face lit up with a heart shaped smile. Jimin nodded his head, as Seokjin, Yoongi, Namjoon and Taehyung also appeared beside the other two.

“Now, we would be able to touch you.” Taehyung mumbled something like that, but Jimin is not sure if he heard it right.

“Where were you last night?” Yoongi asked, concern evident in his eyes.

“I overslept and forgot about it.” Jimin lied. They all nodded their head in unison, not pushing further.

“We were worried.” Seokjin said concern clear in his voice. But Jimin only nodded his head.

“Let’s get you out of here.” Jimin smiled at them and sat in front of the mirror, as the six of them followed the suit. Jimin opened the book and flipped through the pages and opened the page titled as mirror curse. “Here it is.” He smiled up at them as they struggled to look through the mirror.

“What do we have to do?” Namjoon asked, his curious eyes watching the book and Jimin’s face back and forth.

“You don’t have much to do. Follow my every step, alright?” Jimin asked as they again nodded together. “And, I can’t help but say, whoever this Park Wonho is, he did a good job in writing this. Even though it titled as mirror curse, it’s mostly about how to get you out of here. I think, it’s written only for you.” Jimin told them. He was impressed.

“Park wonho was your brother in your previous life. He had promised to get us out of here.” Namjoon explained.

“Oh.” Jimin exclaimed, nodding his head in understanding. Now it makes sense. “Let’s not waste any time. I have to save you and get you out of here immediately.”

“Okay.” Jungkook’s voice was small as he looked at him expectantly.

Jimin picked up a knife from his pocket. “I am going to carve the tattoo symbol, we all have on our skin, to the mirror. We need something that is connected to all of us. Currently it is the tattoo.” Jimin explained and they all nodded their head.

Jimin stood up and started marking the seven vertex star on the mirror. Compare to their tattoo, the one he traced on the mirror was pretty big. It has to be.

In few minutes the symbol of seven vertex star was on the mirror. Jimin smiled at his work, he did a pretty good job.

“Now, all of you place your right hand on each tip of the star.” He instructed. “Leave the top one for me.”

Without any hesitation they did as he told, their hand pressing against the mirror.

Now, is the hard part. Taking a deep breath, closing his eyes tightly , Jimin raised the knife and slashed his palm in one go. Multiple gasps could be here in the room. Biting on his bottom lip, he hold back the pain. It hurts a lot, but he have something to finish.

“Jimin…” Seokjin’s voice quivered when he called his name.

When Jimin opened his tear filled eyes, they were all looking at him with shocked yet concerned expression.

“I am okay.” He assured and took a step close towards the mirror. Waiting for a second to himself, Jimin raised his hand and placed it on top of the star, his blood slowly dripping down to the carved start, filling the line with crimson liquid, creating a red seven vertex star on the mirror.

Closing his eyes Jimin chanted the spell, he learned from the book, his lips moving barely audible to others. He have to concentrate on his mind, if it’s not for the true love, the spell won’t work. But, Jimin does love him, enough to lose blood for them, enough to sacrifice his life for them.

But not only his love, their love for him does matter. If any of them don’t love him purely, they will be trapped in the mirror forever. But, he is sure they love him more than anything in this world, at least they love Jaemin. Their love is pure. If it wasn’t, they wouldn’t have waited for his rebirth, for five centuries.

Only unconditional love can cure this curse. And Jimin realized, how much he loves them. If they can sacrifice their freedom because of him, then he can sacrifice his life for them.

Jimin bite on his lips feeling light headed, as more blood dripped down from his palm. But he have to do this. He have to save them.

Hearing a sound, Jimin’s eyes shot open only for it to wide in horror, seeing crack forming from one of the vertex of the star, which was now glowing with red light.

The six of them, with their hand still placed on the mirror, watched this with wide open eyes. Fear and curiosity could be seen in their eyes.

Jimin’s heartbeat quickened. Cracking of the mirror wasn’t mentioned in the book. Does that mean, he did something wrong? Does that mean, he failed to save them from this curse? Does that means, they will die with the shattering mirror.

Then, everything happened in a second. With a loud sound, the mirror exploded, red light emitting from it blinding Jimin’s eyes. He felt himself flying across the dance room from the force. With a loud thud, he hit against the wall, falling on to the floor.

The last thing he wished before closing his eyes was, able to see them again, to not make them disappear with this destroyed glass. He prayed for it, before tiredness took over him.
