“Don’t make any sound, okay?” The familiar voice whispered in Jimin’s ear.
Realizing it’s Wonhee, Jimin nodded his head. The taller released his hand from Jimin’s mouth and shushed him by putting finger on his own lips. In the darkness, Jimin can’t clearly see him, but the man seemed nervous.
They stayed like that few minutes, which felt like hours for Jimin, and then Wonhee motioned him to follow him.
“What’s going on?” Jimin asked, as they made their way to where the rooms are. Wonhee still seemed anxious, looking around cautiously time to time.
“You should be careful when you go up there. At least check around when you wander here and there.” Wonhee scolded, as they approached Jimin’s room. But Wonhee led him towards the other room which was Bora’s.
“I am sorry.” Jimin mumbled as Bora opened her room to let them in.
“I was worried. Are you okay?” Bora asked looking Jimin and Wonhee back and forth.
“I am, but why are you guys so anxious?” Jimin frowned, taking a seat on the couch.
“Everyone is awake, Jimin. You don’t even noticed it.” Wonhee glared.
“Why?” Jimin frowned as Bora handed him a glass of water.
“Someone saw few people wearing black entering the palace. They looked suspicious. So everyone is searching the whole palace for any suspicious intruder.” Bora explained, making Jimin nod. “If someone ask you, where were you, tell them you were taking shower or something, okay? They knocked on your door a lot, but you didn’t open the door. They will definitely ask you about it.” Jimin nodded his head.
Even though he was a little scared by the news of some unknown people sneaking in, he was more focused on the thoughts in his head. The six people trapped in the mirror was more important to him than anything.
“I think I will go back to my room now.” Jimin stood up, still holding the book to his chest. Wonhee eyed the book, with an expressionless face.
“Goodnight.” Bora nodded her head.
“I am coming with you.” Wonhee said following him to his room.
Jimin didn’t protest. Now that they became a little close, he is okay with having Wonhee in his room.
“Suit yourself, hyung. I will be back in few minutes.” With that, placing the book on the table, Jimin walked towards washroom.
Wonhee nodded his head, and sat on the couch.
When Jimin came back, Wonhee was flipping through the old book.
Jimin’s eyes widened. “What are you doing?” He asked.
“I was looking through this.” Wonhee said with a shrug and placed it on the table where it previously was. “I am leaving now. But before that, What kind of scent are you using in your room?” He asked standing at the door without opening it.
Jimin frowned looking at the scent diffuser on the top of his desk.
“I don’t know, someone gifted them to me.” He replied, hiding the fact that, it was Yejun who gift it to him. Wonhee seemed to hate that man for some unknown reason. So it’s better not to mention Yejun’s name in front of him.
“I think you should throw away that oils. It can harm your body without you even realizing. Maybe that person give it to you without knowing. I will send you some oils that are safe.” Wonhee said and opened the door stepping out of the room. “Throw it away, alright? Then good night.” Sending a smile towards Jimin, the hazel eyed man walked away.
Jimin stood there dumbfounded by the information. The scents are harmful to his health? But Yejun said it can relax him from depression and anxiety. So what does Wonhee mean by that? And even if it’s not good, how does he know about it?
Mentally noting to throw it away, Jimin went towards the bed and layed on it. He should at least get two hours sleep before tomorrow’s shooting.
But his mind was what happened in the dance room. They told him everything about what happened to Jaemin, his previous life. He couldn’t help but feel bad for them. They suffered a lot. And he is here to save them and avenge for his previous life.
That means, Jimin have to find the King’s reborn self. That also means he have to kill him.
Even though he is scared of killing someone, which he never thought he would do in this life, he is definitely okay to get revenge for his previous self and previous life lovers. He is ready to sacrifice anything for them.
That was his last thought before he fell in to dreamland.
“Why did you agree for fan service?” Was the first thing Jimin asked when he saw Yejun. He want answer.
“I thought it will give the show more popularity.” Yejun shrugged with a gentle smile.
“If the show is good, it will be popular. Even if we didn’t try fan service. It’s not a good way to increase popularity.” Jimin said seriously. He was kind of uncomfortable with the whole incident. He never thought he will be feeling this way around his idol.
“If you don’t want to, it’s okay. I understand. I just agree when director Lee asked me. I didn’t knew you will be uncomfortable.” Yejun looked at him apologetically. “I m sorry.” He smiled, raising both of his eyebrows.
“It’s okay. I was just too uncomfortable when director Lee asked about it. And when I heard you agreed to it, I didn’t felt good. I never saw you that way. So…” Jimin smiled back, feeling sorry to say that loud.
“It’s okay. I understand.” Yejun patted his back with an assuring smile.
“What are you doing?” Jimin heard Bora’s voice and looked around to find her swatting Yejun’s hand away from his shoulder.
Jimin’s eyes widened at the sight. “She didn’t mean it, I am sorry.” Jimin apologised to the older male and bowed his head. Whatever it is, Yejun is a famous idol and Bora is just a manager. If someone find out her disrespecting an idol who is also older than her, it will affect her job.
“It’s okay.” With that Yejun walked away sending a long glance towards Bora.
“What were you doing?” Jimin glared at Bora who shrugged.
“He is not good for you, stay away from him, alright?” Bora warned.
“You behave likes Wonhee.” Jimin rolled his eyes.
Bora, who used to ship him with Yejun for past few years now changed her opinion just because of Wonhee. What on earth did that man did to his manager, that she is behaving exactly like him nowadays?
Bora scoffed, but still changed the subject. “Be careful when you go up there tonight, okay?” She whispered leaning towards him. “There will be guards around, after what happened last night.”
With that she walked away, and Jimin went for the shooting.
It was tired day for Jimin. The shooting lasted more than it usually does. It was the shooting of second last episode so it was a longer episode.
That means tomorrow is the last day of shooting and they will leave the palace day after tomorrow. Which also means, Jimin only have two nights to save them. He obviously can’t do that in daytime. So tonight or tomorrow night, before that, he should save them from their curse.
He don’t have much time left to find the cure for the curse.
So right after the shooting, Jimin took a shower and sat on the bed with the brown tinted book opened on his lap.
He looked through the pages one by one, reading through the titles to find the lift for mirror curse. He had already read the half of the book these past days, and another half left for him to read through.
Jimin just flipped the book, when he felt something between the pages. A wooden bookmark, which Jimin is sure wasn’t there before, layed between the brown pages.
Picking it up, Jimin looked at the page where he found it, only for his eyes to widen in surprise and excitement.
The words ‘mirror curse’ written in messy letters stared back at him.
That’s it, he found it. The lift for the curse, the only way to help his lovers. No not his, Jimin scolded himself.
But whatever, now he can save them. He got it. Jimin wanted to scream in delight. He was so happy. He will be able to save them from this hell. He will get six new friends.
Jimin decided, he will do it today night. In case something happened and he couldn’t save them tomorrow, he won’t be able save them ever. So it’s best to do it today.
Picking up his phone, Jimin read the time. It was only past seven o’clock. There is still time for others to go to sleep. They didn’t even had dinner yet.
So Jimin decided he will look through the book some more time, until it’s time to go up.
But before he could open the book, it slipped out of his hand, falling on to the floor with a thud. Some papers and pictures spilled out of it making Jimin groan. Now he have to clean this mess.
Sighing he placed his phone on the night stand, and crouched beside the fallen book. One by one he picked up papers that fell out of it.
Jimin don’t pay much attention to the content in the papers, until his eyes landed on word in the back of a picture.
‘Eighth King’ was written there, in elegant cursive letters. It was the same person who was the reason for this mess, the reason the six of them trapped in the mirror, the reason of Jaemin’s death, the reason of their heartbreak.
Jimin picked up the paper from the floor and turned it. He has to see how the cruel man looks like. If he need to avange for his previous life, for his six friends, he have to see how the man looks like. Their faces definitely will be same, just like Jimin and Jaemin’s.
The hand painted portrait was still good as new.
A man was sitting on a throne, his dragon embroidered red robe shining, as if under the sun. The big crown on his head screamed royalty.
But that’s not what caught Jimin’s attention, it’s those familiar eyes and smile, the familiar face he knows really well.
Jimin’s heart stopped for a second, he couldn’t believe it. He felt his head spinning at the new found discovery.
“T-this can’t be. No, this can’t be…” Jimin murmured, falling to his knees with tears streaming down his face. He stared at the portrait in horror. “This shouldn’t be…”
“Hyung.” Jungkook approached Hoseok with concerned face. “It has been so late, Jiminie is not here yet? Will he be okay?”
Hoseok looked out. It’s already dawn, and still Jimin didn’t came to the dance room to visit them. Hoseok felt worried, so does his lovers.
“He might have over slept.” Seokjin reasoned, rubbing Jungkook’s head.
“I am worried about him.” Yoongi spoke, fiddling with his fingers. Hoseok’s heart melted at the words. Yoongi barely say out loud what he is feeling.
With a gentle smile Namjoon pulled the second eldest in to a hug who curled in the his chest like kitten. Hoseok smiled at the sight.
“Is it because I said I love him?” Taehyung’s quivering voice made them all look at him. He was sitting near the mirror, his head resting on the glass, tear filled eyes staring towards the closed door, expecting Jimin to barge in with his usual eye smile.
“No, Taehyungie, it’s not like that. He might be busy.” Hoseok assured, walking towars the younger and hugging him side ways. Taehyung nodded his head, tilting his head up to peck the older’s lips.
When they pulled away, Hoseok glanced the still closed door. He really hope Jimin is okay.
