Hey guys…
Today (sat) is my birthday. So I’m requesting you guys to post a simple greeting on my MB… or the comment section, which ever you prefer. I’ll name a character to the one that posts the greeting I like the most.
Happy birthday to me!
“You can call me a liar all you want. But I’m still more beautiful than you!” ~Rhiannon
22) Deceived – Harry
“You’re not going anywhere near my mate,” I walked toward the vampire as he struggled. He had killed three witches leaving only Verona, the red witch alive and hovering in the sky throwing fireballs aimlessly. He had even incapacitated two of my pack, inflicting so much damage that the twins Marcus and Alaric lost consciousness.
However, Remus and Gemma caught him off guard. Gemma had bitten off his right arm and threw it somewhere near the river bank. Remus also inflicted huge damage to him, biting off a huge slab from both his legs.
“You’re a strong vampire, but this is as far as you go,” I roared in my wolf form and leaped towards the limping vampire bleeding everywhere. His reflexes had slowed, and with my wolf speed, he didn’t even have a second before he realized my teeth had already sunk on his neck. I then tightened my jaw on his neck, twisting firmly and breaking the bone. It snapped and the struggling vampire stopped moving. I didn’t stop there. I tore his neck apart from his body just to make sure he didn’t stand up again.
He’s finally dead.
I spat the iron taste of blood from my mouth. Vampire blood doesn’t taste good, it’s gross. I spat everything until no aftertaste of the bitter liquid lingered on my tongue.
“Good job,” the red witched flew lower and hovered just above me as I turned into my human form. I wipe the blood on my face as the witch flew near the severed head of the vampire. “He’s never bothering us again.”
“We should hurry and get these guys treated,” Venice yelled pointing towards the two unconscious men, the twins. Gemma and Remus also turned back, so all of us were in our human form. Elizabeth took Alaric and Venice took Marcus when the witch flew her broomstick near the two unconscious men.
“I’ll heal them,” she said told the two women to put the mend down to the ground. She then put her hands towards the two and they glow bright red. “Percuro,” she chanted and soon everyone noticed the cuts on the flesh of the two unconscious werewolves closing slowly until none was left.
They soon opened their eyes.
“You can heal,” I asked and she nodded smiling. But this is not the time to celebrate. “We have to hurry.”
“Hurry why?” I asked glancing at the dead body of the vampire. We killed it and I know my father had already killed those that are coming near here.
“He called for more them,” she said like she could see them. “And she’s coming. She’s woken up.”
“Them? Who? And who is she?” I asked bothered. My comrades had slowly come gathered nearer.
“The vampire you killed is the Vampire Lord,” she answered.
“What?” I turned toward the vampire’s unmoving body. “He’s the vampire lord?” No wonder even a red witch can’t fight in par of him. No wonder we needed the whole pack to defeat him. He was the freaking vampire lord, but how come? I thought the vampire lord was missing and someone had replaced him.
“Was he the new one I heard about?” I asked.
“No!” She answered. “He’s the original vampire lord. And it’s not possible that he had called for his children and they might come, for him.”
“Then, we’ll just have to kill them,” Remus answered as the wounds on his body started to close. He concentrated his energy in healing and so did my sister Gemma.
“We can definitely try, but I’m not sure if all of us could escape alive,” the witch said glancing around. “It seems some are near.”
“Let’s go,” she suggested. The witch floated upward but suddenly a loud thud boomed and Verona’s hit the ground her broom disappearing. At the corner of my eye moved a shadow and it hid behind a tree near the river.
“They’re here,” Verona stood up conjuring five floating balls of fire around her. She pointed towards a movement on the forest but hit nothing. She again casted another on the opposite side of the first one and hit nothing. “Show yourself,” she yelled as another two fireball appeared, retuning their numbers to five again.
“Well, well, well,” a woman in black fitted leather pants, and red six inches heels came out of a tree where the witch had thrown a fire ball. “I came for my lords summon,” she spoke with her likes colored in scarlet red.
“All vampires must have pretty inflated egos facing a whole pack and a witch alone,” I announced. “Go away or you’ll die like your lord.”
The woman only snickered looking at the corps of their former vampire lord, her long black hair moved with her hair. “My lord had waged war against you… and I follow his commands,” she said fixing her black leather jacket that covers a white tube top.
“Then die,” the red witch aimed two fired balls at her. But it got blocked by a huge trunk of tree flying from another part of the forest.
“I save you butt, Vestia, sister dear,” a voice came from another part of the forest. A blur image passed and a woman appeared near a river bank holding a tree with one hand.
She wore a huge hat over her head and sunglasses on her eyes.
“I really hate it when my vacation gets cancelled,” she said taking off her sunglasses with her freehand while still lifting a whole tree. She walked freely under the sun with her body covered only by a blue two piece bathing suit, her feet bare.
“You know I don’t need saving, Vanessa,” the other one retorted. “You just wanted your entrance to be a bit dramatic, like you always do.”
“How come they can walk under the sun?” Remus asked and they only smiled. The woman in black leather jacket had a tattoo of the sun on her neck while the one in bathing suit had it on her navel. It was the same tattoo their lord has on his wrist and I assumed it enables them to wander around during daylight.
“Do they have witches working for them?” Remus asked the red witch. “Aren’t vampires supposed to be enemies with the witches, and witches tend to slave vampires no other way around?”
“Oh, like how the witches turned the mutts as slave?” Vestia mocked. “No, idiot mutt, we don’t work with witches,” she answered. “Please, I’d rather burn under the sun than become a willing participant in their spells and rituals.”
“Those sigils are from the faes,” the red witch answered. “Those marks don’t have any witch’s energy on it.”
“So, the fae, they’re working with vampires?” I asked. I didn’t know those two races had that connection. I though the faes didn’t like interacting with other races?
But I remembered the fae queen talking to the dead vampire lord. How could I have forgotten that? She did mention him being the vampire lord and losing his memory. And they also mentioned more about the druids that I hadn’t understood.
“With the vampire lord’s history together with the fae queen, it’s not really impossible for them to help each other’s cause. They have shared the same goals in the past.”
“But there are only two of them,” Gemma blurted glancing at the newcomers. “We can still take them out.”
“Think again, bitch,” a male voice yelled from the other side of the river. We turned to see a huge shadow falling on us. A huge rock descended on where we stood and it’s too late to dodge.
“Remus,” I called and he knew what I wanted. We both transformed and tackled the humungous rock breaking it into pieces.
“Very impressive,” A man with long pony tail yelled. He dusted off her hands by clapping them making sure it doesn’t touch his white long sleeved.
“Another one who like theatrics,” I heard the vampire Vanessa muttered before yelling “Nice to see you Vladimir.”
“Wow what a reunion,” Remus snorted. “So, there are now three of you, big deal.” Remus turned into his wolf form and bared his fangs towards the three.
“Where are Varick and Virgil?” Vanessa asked the long haired guy on the other side ignoring Remus completely which he didn’t like.
“They’re recalling the group that Virgil had commanded to search for the lord, when he assumed the position. And they’re starting to gather to for a takeover of this town.”
“What take over?” But everybody forgot my question when Remus leapt toward the nearest vampire, Vanessa, but she only smacked him aside and he flew towards the river.
But their attack didn’t stop there. The moment Remus was to hit the ground, Vestia hit him using the tree she held in her hand as a bat, hitting him like a baseball so his body got lunged to a tree. Remus snarled in pain as some of his bones broke.
“Yes wolf. We are going to rule this town,” Vestia eyed me before twirling the tree in one arm like a baton.
“We already took care of your vampire lord,” I told them. “So why go on this path waging war when your commander is dead.” I bared my teeth at them and my comrades change to their wolf form. “We killed the most powerful vampire. We can take care of a few grunts.”
A loud laugh echoed throughout the whole forest. It came from Vladimir, the vampire in ponytail.
“Took care of the vampire lord, really?” Vladimir amused face bother me. The two girls then joined him in hid madness. “You must be joking, right? That a real good one.”
“And what is so funny?” I snickered. My claws started growing and my fur started to came out.
“That you think you killed the lord,” Vestia laughed retrieving something on the ground. “A real good one, I nearly believed you, really.”
I saw the red witch turn her head and I followed.
“That was pretty good nap. Though my bed wasn’t really that comfortable,” a familiar voice came from where I left the body of the vampire. And there I saw something that was not possible. The vampire stood turning his neck from side to side like I hadn’t just snapped it and tore it off his body. How was that even possible?
Something then flew overhead and he caught it.
“Thanks, Vanessa,” the vampire smiled at his subordinate holding his severed arm by his good arm.
“The pleasure is all mine, lord,” she said slightly bowing her head.
He then joined his severed arm to the cut part and it reattaches itself. “Feel’s great to be whole again.”
He stretched his arms already completely healed. The chunks of missing flesh on his legs were already back. Cuts and bruises on his body totally disappeared.
“That is impossible.” The witch blurted. “You’re supposed to be dead.”
“How old are you witch?” The vampire asked which made the witch more confused. “The ignorance of this wolves could be forgiven due to their age, but you, you should know your history.”
“What history?”
“That this particular vampire lord, like all the other Eltysta vampire before him, cannot be killed,” Vestia explained while the other vampire relaxed listening. Vanessa even focused her eyes on her nails while Vladimir went on folding his long sleeves so it looked like a three-fourths.
“That is impossible,” I blurted. “All vampires can be killed. It’s either by decapitation, crushing their hearts, or burning under the sun.”
“Well aren’t I walking under the sun,” Vestia continued making a point. “And I’m just a… what did you call us again earlier… grunts?”
“That’s because of the fairy magic,” Gemma retorted. “But that doesn’t mean you can’t be killed. We’ll just have to find another way.”
“Like the lord said. You’re too young and ignorant of history that you’re misconceptions are pardoned.”
“And you’re right in saying we can be killed, me and my sisters and brothers,” Vestia continued. “But not our lord, never our lord,” she smiled.
“That’s impossible,” I blurted. Maybe it I had burned his body, or cut him into more pieces, maybe he’d die permanently.
“It is, because our lord is an Eltysta vampire,” Vladimir jumped the river and stood near Vestia. “You should know what they are right, witch?”
“That’s impossible,” her jaw dropped to the ground. “They’re all in deep slumber and trapped in a palace sealed by the druids. So that’s impossible.”
“But he is… the only remaining Eltysta vampire awake since the druid put them all to sleep,” Vestia bragged.
“Eltysta?” I repeated. “What’s that?”
“They are powerful vampire originally created by the goddess,” Verona answered. “They are the only vampire that could procreate by mating but each generation could only produce one offspring. And the last generation, a woman, Eve, aimed for total control of the whole world, turning so many people into vampires.”
“The druids put them all to sleep because of their ambitious attempt of world domination, especially Eve Eltysta, so that balance in the world could be restored. But there was no mention of Eve having a son.”
“That is because there was no son that carried her dominant blood,” a woman’s voice answered. Everybody turned their heads to the river. Near the spot where water from the falls hit the river hovered a translucent woman wearing a white dress.
“Eve,” Liam called.
“You’re not the Eve,” the witch pointed out.
“That’s true,” she answered. “And stop calling me that Liam,” she said. “You know very well that my name is Rhiannon, and that I only used that named to get you to trust me when I took your memory. I used the name of your mother so that your subconscious would make you feel I’m trust worthy.”
“And to answer your question,” she looked at Verona with certain power. “Ther wasn’t supposed to be an heir. His Eltysta blood remained dormant and controlled by his wolf but when I killed the wolf inside him the moment I removed his soul, the vampire blood took over.
“You removed my soul?” Liam blurted.
“Yes… because all vampires have no more souls. You’re just empty vessels living for blood.”
“And do you know where your soul had gone?” She asked. “Your soul went to the great cycle and got reincarnated, gaining a chance to be with his mate again,” she smiled towards me.
“What are you saying?” I asked but there was no answer.
“I’m saying that it’s turning dark,” the woman said. And tonight is the night of the blood moon Liam, Harry. Tonight is the night the druids are at their purest, and strongest. Tonight is the night to best utilize a sacrificial druid.
“So you knew the druid,” I blurted.
“We should get Niall as soon as possible,” the woman told the vampire lord ignoring my question, then I suddenly realized he mentioned my mate.
“What did you say?” I asked but my mind recalled. “They wanted Niall. They planned to kidnap him. I won’t let that happen. “You!” I pointed my finger at the woman. “Leave my mate out of this. He has nothing to do with all this.”
“I can’t do that,” she answered. “And he does have everything to do with this.”
“I will kill you first before you even lay so much a hand on my mate,” I threatened them.
“But you don’t understand Harry. Your mate is in more danger. Do you even know that you mate is the druid, the last, or at least he was the last.”
“What do you mean was… no don’t tell me.”
“He is still very much alive,” she said which made me feel a bit of relief. “For now… And I mean he was and used to be the last but he’s not the only druid. There are three more druids living inside his womb, not entirely pure druids but with druid blood, so druids all the same.”
“Three… more?” My jaw almost dropped to the ground. Am I hearing it right? Am I not dreaming? Or is this just a trick? “My… my mate is the druid and there are three more of them inside him?” It took a lot of energy to digest.
“Niall is pregnant,” Liam put it bluntly.
“What, how… is that true?” I asked the red witch and she nodded. “It seems that you two ate some fruit that didn’t only make you two do it like rabbits, it also made conceiving very fast. And, druids can conceive when they accept the seed their partner planted in them.”
“That’s why we must stop them at any cost,” the translucent woman, Rhiannon butted in. “We have to save him from them, the witches!” She glared at the woman on floating on a broom with pure hatred.
“Liar! How dare you accuse us of planning unspeakable things to the druid? Why would we try to hurt a druid?”
“Why exactly?” She roared at her. “Why exactly would a witch aid the humans to attack the druid village, breaking the seals that I had enchanted with my songs? Why exactly did the witches break the enchantment my brother, Quill, and I put on the roads to delay the humans. The same reason why the body of a long departed druid is now hovering in front of me dressed like a witch that had menstruation all over her dress.”
“Liar!” Verona yelled, a vein almost popping on her temple.
“Am I, really,” she taunted the witch. “Let’s see,” and then her body glowed silver, her eyes glowed silver. “Exorcisamus te!” She yelled and everything trembled.
Verona shrieked an ear piercing sound and suddenly something happened to her. She separated in two. The beautiful young woman who first met us as Verona dropped to the ground lifeless while a woman in sagging flesh and thin falling red hair hovered in the air riding a broom.
“You witches might have very long life but unlike us druid you are not inviolable,” the woman in white said. “So you schemed to have us all killed by helping the humans secretly, so you could snatch our dead un-aging body and use them as your skin.”
“Liar!”
“You can call me a liar all you want. But I’m still more beautiful than you! Because we don’t age like you, we stay young and always your envy.”
“But you were reckless in planning your conspiracy. So, you hadn’t anticipated that you needed a living druid’s power too seal your spirit permanently into the body during a red moon. And another scheme was made.”
“Is this true Verona?” I roared. If she was telling the truth then I might just handed my mate to enemies.
“Lies,” she yelled. “Don’t listen to them, to her. She’s lying.”
“With wings of fire and feather burning like the pits of hell, phoenix I conjure thee,” the witch chanted and a huge bird made of burning flame appeared. “Die bitch!”
The phoenix flew towards the Rhiannon in the middle of the river. But it didn’t reach the image of the translucent woman.
“Hydra,” the woman called as soon as she saw the red bird glide. The water rose high blocking the bird’s path and revealing a huge seven headed reptile. It blocked the bird from attacking Rhiannon while snapping its mouth towards the bird. The bird evaded but with seven head attacking it simultaneously, it was caught. The seven snakes like heads devoured it and its magic.
“Summoning a fire creature,” she smirked. “This is how you do it.”
“Draco,” the woman chanted. She glowed and her eyes glowed. The sky turned dark as dark clouds started to appear on the sky above. Strong wind started blowing like a huge electricfan from the view. The wind became stronger and stronger until a huge reptile with orange shiny scale hovered on top of us.
“No…” Verona yelled scuttling away.
“Yes,” Rhiannon with a devilish smile. “Burn her.”
The reptile inhaled sucking huge amount of air inside it mouth. Verona dashed away and fast going away but the reptile soon exhaled red flame like a fire thrower hitting Verona.
Very tried and the in the sky. She tried blinking but she soon vanished in the fire and nothing was left of her.
“What the…” I blurted awestruck.
“This is payback,” I heard the vampire whispered behind me and his nails pointed on my neck. “I’m holding you on the neck!”
“Good bye!” I felt a slight cut on my neck before my Rhiannon’s voice reverberated the surroundings.
“Liam stop!” The woman commanded.
“Why?”
“Didn’t you hear what I just told you?”
What?”
“He is the reincarnation of your soul,” she spelled it out for all of us. “He is practically you.”
That is impossible.
“I would love to explain things further but we don’t have much time,” the woman said walking towards the former body of Verona. The beautiful lady seemed like sleeping snow white after she ate the witch’s apple.
Rhiannon lied down on the body and her translucent image seeped into it. The woman then stood.”
“I’ll borrow this for a while, until I get my own body back,” he said sprouting excuse and plans he wasn’t even attending.
“What do you mean we don’t have time?”
“Pyro,” she chanted and fire appeared in front of them. “Show us where Niall is,” she commanded and image soon flickered in the flame.
Images, came flashing on the fire. Niall was being carried unconscious trough a group of stairs. We watch as Niall was brought out to an open tower, with no walls and ceiling. They put him on a table. His hands and legs were restrained by metals even when his eyes were closed.
“What did they do?” I roared seeing my mate in chains. Was he hurt? Where is he?
“They still hadn’t done anything. So we have to hurry, before they start to do things to him and the children.
“Vulpecana,” she chanted and three foxlike creatures appeared gliding in midair with their fire-y tail. “I will teleport us there using a spell, unless anyone wanted no part of it.” She looked around and no one was speaking. She then waved for the wolves to go to their place and they jumped in air on three different direction.
They blew the fire and formed into triangle. The triangle slowly grew until all of us even the dragons were in it.
“Triangulum,” Rhiannon chanted. She conjured a bright light that everyone closed their eyes for a few seconds. Then, when we opened our eyes we were falling from the sky. And I fell on the tower where Niall had been brought. But this time, I saw something different.
A man with pierced chest lied on the floor near the table where Niall was supposed to be tied. The supreme alpha lying near the edge of the open tower, with burns all over his body.
And what made me roar in anger was the image of Niall’s open stomach while a woman that looked like the translucent lady held a crying child in one leg, inverted and bloody. She’s holding my child.
I turned to my mate.
“No!” I felt my heart stop beating. “It can’t happen. It shouldn’t happen!” I cried as I see him no breathing.
“Oh, so, my other visitors had finally arrived,” the woman said with a smile before she placed the child on the table and dug her hand in the open stomach of my mate.
“I’m going to kill her!” || Stay tuned for more
