Reader’s POV~ (aka Third-Person POV)
Reece sighed as he flipped close his phone. He looked at the ceiling with a half smile. “I’m going to see the boys again. Can’t wait.”
Then, Reece’s eyes widened. “Wait.. The boys are coming here.” Reece repeated to himself, facepalming as he groaned. “If the boys find out that I’m at Clara’s apartment, they are going to flip..”
“I don’t want you at Clara’s.” A flashback came flashing into Reece’s mind.
It was in late June and Reece was boarding a plane to Japan.
His gang had followed him inside the station. At the time, Reece’s hair was blonde and he had purple orbs. A blank, hollow expression was dawned on his face. He had his bags and anything he needed when he would arrive to Grandmother’s house.
“Boss, do you have to do this?”
“You know how family is, Danny. It’s been a while since I’ve seen Grandma and my family in Japan.”
“I guess you’re right. Can you promise me something?” Reece raised an eyebrow as he turned around to his second-in-command, Danny. “You’re asking your boss to keep a promise?”
“Just hear me out, will ya?” Reece sighed in annoyance. “Alright. Make it snappy. I gotta board the plane soon.”
“Don’t talk or see Clara.” Reece twitched at his sudden request. “What was that?”
“I don’t want you staying near Clara. Or even 20 feet of her.”
“And why is that?” Reece was definitely interested now. “She causes too many bad memories. Remember what happened when sh-“
“Never speak about it.”
“So you promise you won’t get in contact with her?” Reece was quiet for a moment. “You have my word.”
The flashback faded, Reece starting to panic at the thought of getting crushed in the face. Sure, he was stronger than he was before but…he did not want to take any chances. Reece flinched at the sudden ringing of the house phone. He scrambled over, picking it up hesistantly before murmuring a small “Hello?”
“Yo pipsqueak! Took you long enough.” Reece’s shoulders drooped as he mentallly facepalmed.
You’ve got to be kidding me. “What do you want, you old hag?”
“Yeah whatever. I’m not going to be there tonight. I’m going to be at a friend’s place the whole weekend. You better not throw any parties while I’m go-“
“Yeah yeah. Blah blah blah. Same crap you always say.” Reece groaned to his sister, hanging up the phone. Reece felt happiness bubble inside him as he smiled.
Nice. I’ll have the crew coming by in perfect timing. Everything was going just as planned.
Reece felt his phone buzz in his hand as he flipped it open and looked at the contact.
“Unknown number?” Reece questioned out loud, raising the phone to his ear. “Moshi moshi?” The pinkette answered, walking to the fridge.
“Stop what you’re doing and turn around.” A dark voice spoke into the phone, causing chills to run down Reece’s spine as he froze.
Reece turned around to become speechless at the sight, his eyes widening.
