A/N: —> Evan
Sammy
Nervously biting his bottom lip Sammy continued to stare at the large house in front of him, not getting any strength to actually get out of his truck. Today was the first day that he was supposed to start tutoring Evan, if he didn’t pass out beforehand that is. After sitting in his truck for ten more minutes he took a gigantic breath before finally opening his door. Slowly shutting it he pulled his jacket closer to his body before walking up to the front door. Knocking onto the large wooden door he waited until it opened to freak out.
“Hey,” looking up he saw Evan looking down at him with a soft smile.
“Hi,” Sammy said while putting his shaking hands into his pockets.
“Thanks again for doing this,” Evan said while walking towards a larger room.
Taking a hesitant glance around the large room he said, “Sure,” while sitting down at the large wooden table. Opening his bag he took his Stats book out, softly putting it onto the table. “So I’m going to start with what we first went over in class,” Sammy started saying while opening the book. However his hands started shaking once again when Evan scooted his chair closer to his. Good lord give me strength, he thought while nervously biting his bottom lip once again. After taking a deep shaky breath he forced himself to stare down at the book, and not focus on how good the boy sitting next to him smelled. This is going to be a long night.
Evan
“So once you multiply by your log you-” He was trying to pay attention, he really was. But unfortunately he was having a hard time with that, since he never knew how great Sammy smelled. His smell was something mixed between flowers and strawberries. He even smelled better than Maci… if that was possible. He had never known that he was capable of having such mixed emotions like the ones that he was experiencing today.
He was finding that his body was reacting to Sammy’s little body in such a strange way, he felt like he was being pulled towards him. He was hardly even paying attention to what he was saying, which he really should since he doesn’t understand Stats at all. How can someone smell so good?
Forcing himself to pay attention, he focused his eyes on the book in front of them. Just as he was getting into it, a buzzing sound was filling the dining room. Looking down, he watched as Sammy took his phone out of his pocket, a frown instantly forming on his face. “Everything okay?” Evan asked while watching Sammy type something forcefully onto his phone.
“It’s my brother, its fine,” he said while shoving the phone back into his pocket, still not looking happy.
Deciding to drop the subject, he watched as Sammy simply started to talk about Stats once again, still looking a little peeved. After working for a little longer Evan leaned back in his seat before asking, “Thirsty at all?”
He watched as a blush creeped up onto Sammy’s face, making his face almost turn into a tomato. It was oddly turning Evan on. “Sure,” Sammy whispered, not looking up at all.
After walking into the kitchen, Evan grabbed two glasses of water before walking back towards the dining room. Stopping in the doorway he watched the way Sammy was leaning back in his chair, his shirt lifting up a tad bit. For some odd reason looking at that small amount of skin was actually making his palms start to sweat. Before he could stop them, he was dropping the glasses, making them fall onto his feet. “Ow,” he muttered when small pieces of glass were splashing onto his bare legs.
Sitting down onto the floor he winced while trying to not cut himself even more. Hearing Sammy’s soft gasp, he watched as he ran over to him, before kneeling down next to him on the floor. “Are you okay?” He breathlessly asked while looking into his eyes.
“Yeah, I just wasn’t paying attention.”
“Don’t move too much, let me grab a towel,” Sammy said before running into the kitchen. When he came back Evan watched as he kneeled back down next to him. Sammy then went on to gently take the glass out of his legs, lightly dabbing the towel over his flesh.
“Thank you,” Evan said while watching as those brown eyes were looking up at him, as his face was turning red once again.
“Of course,” Sammy said with a soft smile.
Those eyes, why had he never noticed those eyes before? Those eyes were a milk chocolate color, mixed with some light blue on the outer edge, something that he had never seen before. They were absolutely fascinating, and he could probably stare into them all day long. However those brown eyes were looking away when his phone buzzed once again. “I have to go, apparently my brother doesn’t know how to work a lock,” Sammy softly said while standing up and holding his hand out.
Looking at the tiny hand, Evan only hesitated for a second before putting his hand into Sammy’s, surprised that the smaller boy was able to pull his body up. “Thanks again, does tomorrow sound good?”
He watched as Sammy’s face started to turn red again while he said, “Yeah.” With that he gave him one tiny smile before turning back towards the table to retrieve his things. It was then that Evan realized he had still been holding his hand, making it his turn to slightly blush.
After Sammy gathered all of his things together, he walked him towards the front door. Opening the door he leaned against the wood while crossing his arms over his chest. “Have a nice night.”
“You too,” Sammy quietly said before walking out towards the old looking truck in the driveway. After watching him drive off he slowly shut the door, closing his eyes as he rested his forehead on the wood. After opening his eyes back up he slowly climbed the stairs up to his room, not being able to get those eyes out of his mind.

“And so she told me I was going too fast, can you imagine that?” He couldn’t help but watch as Sammy and Lea walked down the hallway, looking quite chumy with each other. Were they dating?
“So then I ate a dinosaur for dinner.” He watched as Lea jumped onto his back while they were still walking towards the end of the hallway.
“Evan!” Looking up he saw his best friend Teddy staring at him, a slight smirk on his face.
“What?”
“Try to tone down the googly eyes you’re giving your tutor.”
Rolling his eyes, he turned back towards his locker while deciding to ignore that comment. Just as Teddy was about to say something else Maci was suddenly in front of him, seriously popping up out of nowhere. He hated when she did that.
“Hey sexy,” she purred while sensually running her fingers up and down his chest.
“Skank,” Teddy said into a cough, his hatred for Maci coming out.
Turning towards him, Maci simply flipped him off before getting up onto her tiptoes and placing a wet kiss onto Evan’s lips. He really wished that she wouldn’t kiss him with so many people around, he always felt self-conscious during public displays of affection. “Why don’t we hang out tonight?” She purred while looking up into his eyes.
Frantically looking over at Teddy, he felt his eyes get big, not wanting Maci to know that Sammy was tutoring him after school. “He’ll be with me tonight,” Teddy quickly said making Evan sigh in relief.
“Why can’t you be with me tonight,” Maci said while pouting like a five year old.
“Because skank, I already said that he was going to be with me tonight.”
“Screw you Teddy.”
“Never in your wildest dreams.” Rolling his eyes at their banter Evan started gathering his things together from his locker. While he was grabbing his last book he suddenly heard a soft voice say,
“Excuse me.”
Turning around he saw Sammy slowly walking towards his locker, carefully walking around Teddy’s large body. Evan then watched as he opened his locker, slowly pulling out the different books he needed. However he also watched when Maci pushed his books onto the ground, covering her mouth with her hand while saying, “Oops.”
He watched as a frown showed up on Sammy’s face, his face turning red as a tomato. “Come on Maci,” Evan angrily said while kneeling down to help Sammy, who had also kneeled down. “Sorry about that,” he whispered while grabbing a book at the same time Sammy’s fingers grabbed the book.
Giving off a soft gasp Evan looked up into those brown eyes, watching as Sammy’s face was completely red. He felt even more lightheaded while looking at that shy face. Before he was able to say anything he heard, “Come on you slow pooooke….” Looking up he saw Lea coming to a halt while looking down at them. “Am I interrupting anything?” She asked while wiggling her eyebrows, an action that confused Evan.
“My bad sorry,” Sammy said while quickly standing up and all but running away with Lea.
Standing up as well Evan watched them walk away, looking up when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Looking up he saw Teddy giving him a smirk. Rolling his eyes again he shrugged off his best friends hand while feeling Maci wrap her arms around his arm. Not knowing how to feel anymore, he simply gave a big sigh while watching his tutor walking away, not understanding the mixed feelings he was having deep inside.
