Cadis had his hand wrapped gently around Talons wrist as they snuck through the corridors to his room to avoid interacting with his parents
Once in the room Cadis closed the door and gave Talon sometime to adjust to the room settings
“Sorry I never turn on the lights”
He said slightly louder then he wanted to.
Talon nod and looked around. Gray walls with paintings and sketches. A messy desk with no space to work on what so ever. Papers and notebooks scattered and dried acrylic stains on the floor
He slowly sat on the black leather chair as Cadis was gathering the massive amount of black clothes from his bed and shoving them in his wardrobe
“Why did you bring me here?”
Talon asked. Cadis shrugged
“Thought you would need someone. Your reality and heaven just got crashed. It’s the least I could do”
Talon nod and looked at the view from Cadis window
“My brother was deceived from a demon…”
“That’s what you believe ?”
Talon nod and curled up in himself pulling his bent knees closer to his torso
“I think he knew what he was doing. You don’t mess with demons by accident “
“You are saying that because you used to be a satanist right?”
Cadis shrugged
“I honestly tell you, Satanism is heavily misconceptioned by many. But your brother wanted something different. He signed a contract and sold his soul. So when he was off age the demon claimed his soul and left”
“That’s the price right?”
Cadis shrugged
“That’s what I believe. Suicide is Suicide despite the reason behind it. But I see you are following the same road fanatically and I feel like I should give you a warning”
Talon nod and rested his head in Cadis shoulder who was sitting across from him. He closed his eyes and darkness consumed him.
He imagined his brothers warm eyes. Were they really kind ? No
He remembered the damaged wrists. The offerings. The obsession with the demon he named a saint. Marc-Lucas. The demon who dared to take the form of god Cernunos to deceive.
Demon had no shame indeed
He shuddered and his breath came in small ragged bits.
Cadis was still all that time. Till Talon pulled away and looked up at his grey eyes.
“Just let go of it”
“It was my brother who died Cadis….I can’t let go…”
Whispered Talon and sobbed. He harshly bit his lower lip
“It was my brother….”
His eyes watered and thick rivers of tears starting rolling down his reddish cheeks as he began to cream
He pressed his palm against his eyes wiping away the tears that just kept falling as he started to sob louder
He covered his eyes with his hand hunching his back trying to hide his face in the gap between his bent knees and his chest
“My brother…”
His fingers reached to his hair as he dug his nails mercilessly in his scalp
Cadis hands flew up to grab Talon wrists which only resulted to him screaming in pain
“Fuck….”
Said Talon and Cadis frowned. He panicked. He had a hard time to breath and he felt his heat ache
Talon tugged at his blue curls
“Fucking hell! Why?”
He said between heart wrenching sobs. Cadis wrapped his slender arms around his shoulders and held the shivering body against him
“Cadis I don’t want to be alone”
“You aren’t alone Talon….”
“I AM!”
He said his voice uneven
“Dax is not an option and neither are my…p-parents!”
He but his lower lip again and his shoulder twitched with each cry
Cadis grabbed him by his shoulders and shook him
“Talon listen” he rasped and Talon let his limp arms fall to the ground as his body had given up on trying to support its own weight.
He looked up with bloodshot eyes at Cadis as he kept crying silently. As silent as he possibly could
“Talon I’m here for you”
Talon shook his head
“No you are not. You don’t need me”
“I do”
Cadis said in one breath and tightened his grip on Talon. Talon looked down at his thighs.
“I m here ok ?”
Talon remained silent. Too silent.
“I’m right here for you”
“What if…”
Talon managed to utter
“What if I wake up and you disappear ? What if this isn’t real?”
Cadis moved his hands to entwine them with talons slender pale fingers
“You can wake up talon”
He said and kissed his knuckles on each hand
“This is not a dream”
He said with a broken smile. And Talon found warmth in that smile. And in those eyes like burnt candles he found hope.
“I’ve got my own demons to face Talon. And so do you. But together we can overcome them”
He said and Talon smiled. A crooked stupid smile. The smile of a lovesick fool. Only it was tired
His lower lip still trembled. And Cadis leaned and pecked the soft quivering lips.
Talon returned the kiss. And Cadis poured in it all of his emotions. Like a raging fire. Untamed waters.
His hands pulled the boy closer by the. Back of his head and Talon leaned in to the mans body seeking his scent, his warmth.
They pulled away
“Talon I don’t know what this is,and I’m no good with such things, but I think we are meant to be”
Talon rested his head in the crook of his neck as Cadis run his fingers through Talon hair.
” I don’t know what this is either. But I think we should give it a go”
And the two broken boys somehow found their way to each other
And somehow they saved each other

1 week later
Talon went to his therapy sessions and patiently waited for Christopher Ross o arrive. He didn’t bother making Origami birds this time and he didn’t bother bringing his cards either
This time he would speak with words
Christopher came on time and gave the usual fake smile that eased you not to smile back. He leaned on his black desk once again and once his eyes met Talons his breath was cut short
He quickly run a hand through his hair and shut his eyes for a moment
“Hello Cadis”
Talon smiled. He was no fool. He knew how much he resembled his brother. All he needed was to dye his hair brown.
And he did
“Hello”
He casually replied in his slow tempo
“So what was the rush for today? Something special happened ?”
Asked Christopher with a forced pained smile
Talon nod
“Will you give me the time to tell you a story ?”
