-Kellin-
I felt like everything went well today at my first day here at drop dead, no I actually feel great and confident working here. Right now, I was helping Justin and Grace clean up. I was cleaning the counters with a rag, as I did that I saw Grade struggling to take the trash out, I chuckled as I went to her.
“Here let me take that,” I said as I tried getting the trash from her.
“Oh, Kellin its alright I can take it.” I nodded my head as I took the trash from her.
“I got it don’t worry,” I grabbed it from her, she sighed.
“I can really ta-”
“Let Kellin do it, you can’t even lift anything with that small body of yours.” Justin said as he hanged up some clothes. “Kellin can you take that to the trash as well,” Grace said as she pointed that to Justin I laughed and took the trash out.
As I went outside I was met with the cooling breeze in my face, I went to the huge trash can across from the door. As I lifted the huge trash can to throw the trash away someone called my name.
“Kellin!” I turned to my left to see two people walking towards me with hoods on them, I couldn’t see their faces, but only one was tall and the other was a little short then the other. I froze as I was shocked to know who it was, it can’t be them, god how did they find me!
I made up my mind to run, as I began to run they caught me and pushed me to the wall as they grabbed my arms.
“No! Please let g-” they covered my mouth.
“It’s us! It’s us!” They whispered yelled as they both took off their hoods. It was Austin and Alex. I let out a breath of relief, they let go of me.
“W-what are you guys doing here?” I asked them both, they looked at each other trying to figure out what to say.
“We just thought about staying here, just to keep you company.” Alex said. I could tell in his eyes he was lying, but why stay with me?
“Why?” I asked him.
“W-well you know how Alan is, he doesn’t like his best friend being lost,” Austin said, he was lying as well.
“Tell me the truth.” I told both of them,
“Kellin like we said we want to keep you company here.” Alex said again.
“Alex tell me th-”
“Kellin!” I turned to look that Oliver was looking for me, I pushed Alex and Austin to the trash can so Oliver wouldn’t see them. I walked towards him, his eyes and lite up when he saw me.
“There you are! Come on we have to go home, my brother coming over for dinner,” I nodded as Oliver went inside. I went to Austin and Alex, I saw Austin shock. “Wow you are really living with Oliver Sykes!” He asked, I nodded.
“Look I can’t talk now, but come back tomorrow morning at 10 here at this spot. Bye all see you guys tomorrow.” They both nodded as I hugged them both.
I walked inside as I saw Oliver talking to Grace and Justin, “so how was his first day?” He asked them both.
“Oh he did such an amazing job, really great and cute boy!” Grace said.
“Yeah, he was cool and really great. Really like how he acted here.” Justin said. Oliver smiled, “I’m really glad, but I have to tell him some news that I think he won’t like”
That got to me. Was he gonna fire me? I pushed that aside and walked inside, Oliver smiled once again. “Ok were off, all you guys did a god job.” Oliver said. We all said are goodbyes, Oliver and I walked to the alley to go to the car. When I got into the car I saw Alex and Austin look over to us, they both waved to me. I waved back as liver drove away, glade he didn’t see that.
“So did you like how today went?” Oliver asked me.
“I did, it was really great, oh by the way don’t forget to make that call for the gremlins for your clothing line.” I said to him.
He laughed, “I should make you be my assistant,” he said as he looked at me. I looked down and blushed when he said that, why all of a sudden my heart has always been like this with Oliver, sure he really a great and kinda hearted guy…also cut smile, such amazing abs, oh and his eyes! Are suc- what is wrong with me!?
“Kellin?” I looked up at Oliver to what he wanted to tell me.
“Are you gonna get out the car?” I looked at him confused, until I notice that we were already here at the house.
“O-oh! Sorry I was daydreaming!” I said as I laughed awkwardly and took off my seatbelt. We both walked inside and as usual we were great by the dogs.
“Hey boys!” Oliver said as he bent down and pet them, I did as well.
“You play with them, while I make dinner.” Oliver said. I nodded my head, “no I wanna help you” I said. Oliver chuckled.
“No it’s fine Kellin, plus you need a rest since a long day from working.” I sigh. “Really Oli, I wanna help…” I said as I put a pouty face, he seemed to give in and sighed. “Alright then.” We both walked into the kitchen as well as the dogs followed behind us.
Oliver took out cooking utensils, spices and salad, I notice that all the spice he had out were….vegan? “I hope you don’t mind eating a veggie burger?” Oli asked me, “oh I don’t mind. Umm…Oli by any chance are you…”
“Vegan?”
I nodded.
“Yeah, I am sorry, you have to live with a vegan like me if you like meat.”
I shook my head no quickly, “oh no it’s ok! I rarely eat meat that much, so don’t worry, all eat what you make, plus your house, your rules” I said. Oliver laughed. Oliver handed me the lettuce to cut it up while he put spices on the chicken.
“So did you like how you worked today with Justin and Grace?” Oliver asked as he put the chicken on the stove. I continued to cut the lettuce as Oliver asked me, “oh, yeah, Justin and Grace were really nice and helpful” I could see from the corner of my eye Oliver was smiling, but soon his smile faded away.
“Kells…”
I looked up at him and nodded for him to continued, he still looked down as he cooked the chicken.
“I’m sorry, but I’m gonna have t-” Oliver was cut off as we heard a knock on the door, Oliver went to answer the door, I put a hand onto my chest, my heart was beating so quickly, I knew it he was gonna fire me! But what did I do wrong? Even if he fires me, he will kick me out of his house!
Oliver came into the kitchen along with his brother behind him.
“Kellin you remember my brother Tom?” Oliver asked.
“O-of course, we met like few hours ago”
Tom chuckled and shook my hand, “it’s good to see you again Kellin.” I just nodded to him, I’m still shaken up about what Oliver was about to tell me, which would be he’s gonna fire me. Oliver was done with the chicken and got out everything he need to make the burgers, their was a little bit more lettuce so I just decided to make a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, and of course lettuce.
I brought the salad the counter where Oliver’s brother was sitting, Oliver came in with the burgers and some lemonade. We dig in and ate.
“Wow this is really good!” Tom said while eating the burger.
“Thank Kellin, he helped out and made the salad,” Oli said.
“Yeah, I just helped, but you did an amazing job on the burgers Oli” I said he smiled as he looked at me.
As I was eating I kept on looking at Oliver and his brother, they were both glaring at each other, Tom moved his head to point at me then looked back at Oliver, nodded no, Tom once again pointed at me with his head Oliver signed. What was going on?
~Oliver~
Ugh! Tom kept on looking at me, he wanted me to tell Kellin already, but I wanted to tell Kellin myself and privately. I gave in and sighed. I nodded to Tom.
“So Kellin do you like working at drop dead?” Tom asked him. Kellin looked at Tom as he drank his lemonade, “yeah I did, and I promise you I will work hard in drop dead and not fail you.” This is what I liked about Kellin attitude, he kept in promising people he will work hard and not fail them, this is why I needed him to work into the hq for clothing cause I know Kellin won’t fail me and work hard.
“Well Kellin I’m sorry, but I’m gonna have to let you go,” I said with a serious tone, I wanted to mess with him and I guess Tom got the message cause he smirked at me. Kellin looked shocked and heartbroken.
“W-what?!” He asked me.
“Kellin I’m sorry, but I’m making Oliver fire you” Tom said.
“W-why?!” He said now frowning
“Well your attitude and promises for working hard and not failing us is not needed in drop dead, that why I’m putting you into hq”
“Look I don’t know what I did b- wait…your putting me into hq?” Kellin asked. Tom and I nodded, Kellin soon smiled and looked at me.
“Oh my god, b-but why?” He asked. “Well you really did impress me today at the meeting, and I just decided to tell Oliver to move you into hq.” Tom said.
“Wow, oh my god, thank you guy so much, I promise I won’t fail in hq and work hard!” Kellin cheered. I laughed at him. I love his seeing he so cheerful and so happy I especially love his smile.
“So Kellin how did you meet my brother?” Tom asked. Kellin stopped eating and answered Toms question.
“Oh well someone just decide to mews with me in the alley by drop dead, Oliver saved me and I didn’t have any money or anywhere to stay, Oliver offered me his place to stay. Oh and also I wanted to work in drop dead to make money to repay him and maybe have a place of my own,” Kellin said.
I frowned, I really don’t want Kellin to leave. It really doesn’t matter to me that he can pay me back, he can just stay freely in my house…
“Well thank you guys so much, but I better get going. Work tomorrow.” Tom said as he got up. Kellin and I walked him to the door, I hugged tom goodbye, so did Kellin.
“Thank you once again Tom! I won’t let you down!” Kellin said. Tom chuckled.
“I know you won’t. Alright, bye you guys, goodnight!” Tom said as he walked out the door, once I closed the door, Kellin jumped on me to hug me.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you so much Oliver! Really oh my god your are such an angel to me!” He said, I laughed as I wrapped my arms around his waist, Kellin didn’t let go I didn’t as well. Kellin pulled away and looked at me while his arms were wrapped around my neck, and my arms were wrapped around his waist.
Kellin looked at me with those bluish-greenish eyes of his, god I wish he was mine already. Kellin is just so kind hearted and so cheerful he has a high spirit. I would just kiss him, but somehow I managed to get our faces close together, I move a little more, but Kellin stepped out of the hug. “Um…again thank you. I-I’m gonna go to bed. Goodnight.” Kellin walked up the stairs, but I remember something. “Kellin!” Kellin stopped and looked at me shyly.
“Will you be able to sleep alright?” I asked him. Kellin looked confused when I asked him, but then remembered…
“O-oh yeah all be fine. T-thanks for asking. Goodnight Oli.” He said as he walked upstairs.
“Night” I whispered. I sighed, does he not like me? Or do I scare him? By the look on his eyes it did seem like he wanted to kiss me. As I was thinking, something came into my head.
I ran upstairs and went into my music room, I grabbed my notebook and wrote down what I was thinking. I looked at it and smiled, I most definitely will make the boys work on this song!
(Kellin) (next day)
Wow I can’t believe I will be working in hq, but sadly I will be breaking the news to Justin and Grace. They are definitely my friends ever since I started to work, they have been nothing but kind to me. I’m gonna miss those weirdos.
“You really leaving us?” Grace asked. Oliver and I came to drop dead, he need to get some stuff also tell Hannah the news.
“N-no not really, I just won’t be working here anymore just in hq” I said to her.
“Wow it’s gonna feel lonely without you here, mate” Justin said. I could see the sadness in theirs eyes. “Don’t worry all be coming by here with Oliver, I’m also gonna tell him if I can work here as well, as I’m working in hq” I told them both.
“Kells don’t worry, do what you gotta do. Hey you can even come by our lunch break, to buys us food.” Grace said, I laughed so did the both of them as well. I’m really gonna miss them. I looked at the time on the clock on the wall. It was already time for me to see Alex and Austin.
“I’m gonna go outside to the car, I-I left something in their,” I said as I made up my excuse. They both nodded as I walked outside, I looked around and saw Austin and Alex their behind the trash can.
“Hey guys” I said as I walked to them. They both smiled once they saw me.
“Now spill, why are you both here?” I asked them as I crossed my arms over my chest. Austin look at Alex then looked at me.
“Kellin like we said we came to kee-”
“No the truth,” I said cutting him off. Austin signed and looked at Alex. Alex sighed and put a hand through his hair.
“Kellin…”
“Alex please tell me.” I didn’t like all this quietness that was happening, and I know Austin and Alex their hiding something from me, but what could it be. Alex sighed.
“Kellin…him and his man are coming to Sheffield they t-think that your hiding here…” I dropped my arms.
So this was it? I’m really gonna die…
