Chapter 24
Eli’s pov
I drove fast down the street. I had to get to the park soon.
I had to have him in my arms, I had to tell him how I felt and I was gonna do it with no regrets.
I wasn’t thinking about anyone else right now. I wasn’t thinking about my reputation or my dad or anything other then him.
I don’t know what this crazy feeling was but I know I was gonna hold onto it for as long as humanly possible. I wasn’t gonna let it go and I wasn’t gonna let him go either.
I’ll be there soon, really soon. But I can’t wait any longer I need to see him now.
I had laid in my bed for a while thinking of this moment after I had left dinner. The moment I was gonna tell him how I felt and I would hold him and kiss him.
I was almost there, I could see the park.
I drove as fast as I could.
I was gonna get the boy.
I was gonna get my happily ever after.
And then everything went black.
Chapter 24
Carters pov
I double checked my hair in the car mirror before starting it and quickly but carefully pulling out of the drive way and toward the park.
My heart was practically leaping out of my chest and I knew I was seating nervously.
My anxietys were off the charts and the only thing that was gonna calm then was seeing Eli.
I turned the corner and stopped the car with a halt.
Oh no..
My heart fell to my feet as I looked at the scene infront of me.
There were two cars, one flipped over on its side, peramedics were there and cops were talking to people.
Eli’s car was in flames.
I started to hyperventilate.
I threw open my door and ran to the scene.
“No.. No… no, Eli!” I yelled as I ran.
“You can’t be over here, sorry.” A paramedic stopped me before I could make it to the flaming car.
“You don’t understand, I have to find him!” I screamed, my thoughts racing.
Everything was so blurry, Why wasn’t he with the peramedics? Were was he? He had to be okay!
“Where is he?!” I screamed.
“You need to calm down, now explain to me who it is that your talking about.” The guy ordered.
“He was driving that car!” I screamed punting frantically at his now in flames.
“They took him to the hospital, he is going to the E.R.” He explained trying to calm me down.
“Here, take a seat I’ll call your parents to come get you.” They guy offered.
Was he crazy!
“No! I have to go to Eli!” I hollered and ran to my car.
“Hold on Eli, I’m coming.” I mumbled to myself as I drove down the street in the direction of the hospital, as fast as I could.
