Hello everyone sorry for you guys who like this story and I haven’t been updating on the regular. I’ve just been so busy updating A Secret Love. I hope you enjoy this chapter though in my opinion it really isn’t good.
The king and his son walked into the room. Prince Jeremy looked away as judging eyes followed him around the room. He looked back at them with no fear.
They continued their march toward the throne. Their subjects whispered and turned their heads.
I wonder if they’re mad at me. He thought.
They finally reached their destination and ascended up the steps. I sat down while my father stood and turned to his subjects.
“Greetings everyone. I have an announcement to make.”
Everyone looked around and started whispering.
The king looked around the crowd hoping that what he said wouldn’t cause an uproar but he knew what would happen but was ready for it.
“The Prince has notified me that he is not ready to choice which one of your daughters he would like to marry.”
The crowd roared back in disagreement then quieted down to hear he rest of the announcement.
“There will be another ceremony on this exact same day a year from now.”
The crowd roared then shook their heads in agreement and started back whispering. The king turned toward Prince Jeremy and shook his head. He responded back with a nood.
Prince Jeremy and King James descended down the steps of the throne and made their way through the crowd. People gave them a few ugly looks.
Why are they looking at us like that? Jeremy thought.
They finally reached they’re destination and sat down at the table from before.
“So now can we please have a conversation without it exploding into something that it shouldn’t be.” The king announced and looked at his son dead in the eyes.
“Sure dad.” The prince replied and smiled.
