Here’s another update. A lot of people have stopped reading my books though so I don’t even know if someone’s going to read it.
Finally they’re gone,Logan thought as he collided his sword with a bush.
He had been secretly hiding in the forest watching Jeremy and his sister converse with each other. Logan emerged from the woods and looked for hoove prints in the gravel. He spotted a few and followed them on his trusty stead. Logan whipped the rines on swifters back and swifter hurried down the path guided by Logan’s hand.
The road winded around a few curbs before Logan reached the outskirts of what looked like a kingdom. There were commoners walking around. As they walked passed him Logan examined them and could tell they were sick. He preceded down the gravel path and finally arrived at the kingdoms market. The merchants we’re thriving through the market trading and tricking people.
He looked away from that so he wouldn’t be tempted to do anything. What he was doing required him to be stealthy and remain unnoticed.
The castle became more noticable as he finally reached the gates. He stopped before he got unto the draw bridge. Logan looked inside his satchel to check to see if he had everything before he continued on his mission. Everything was there so he and swifter went on across the draw bridge and approached the gate. There were two guards standing by the gate. They stopped Logan in his tracks.
“What is your business here?” One of the guards asked.
“I’m a merchant I’m here to speak with the queen about trading something with her.”
The two guards looked him up and down with amusement.
“You are a merchant that’s hard to believe.” The guard said then began to laugh.
Logan starred at them with a serious and said nothing. They both looked at him, moved out of the way. Logan preceded through the gate and let out a sigh of relief.
Logan walked around the castle and to his amazement the courtyard was clear there were no guards out at all. This only made it easier for Logan to sneak his way in. He looked for a spot to tie up swifter and hide him just in case a guard came out. He then made his way around the castle to look for a staircase. Luckily he found one and snuck his way in.
