Thanks for all the reads I appreciate it.
It was fall around the time that Athena was called by her father to meet him in his chambers. She walked in and sat down ready for what was to come.
” Athena. ” Her father said in a low tone.
” What is it father? ” she asked intrigued.
“Sit down we need to talk.” Her father said and notioned for her to sit down.
“The guard’s have informed of your little rendezvous that you had with Prince Michael.”
Princess Athena broke out into a cold sweat but maintained her composure.
“What rendezvous?” Athena asked looking at her father stupidly.
The king raised his left eyebrow in disbelief.
“Do you really think that I believe you Athena. I have been watching you and Prince Michael for a while now. In my head I believed that you wouldn’t go against what was already planned.” Her father sighed and got up and looked out the window unto the kingdom.
“But father.”
The king put his finger up to his mouth to cut Athena off and silence her.
“I do believe that you understand what you have?” The king questioned and turned around to face Athena.
She swallowed and turned her head away from her father. Without her knowing he had already walked towards her.
“Look at me!” He yelled and grabbed her chin so that she was looking into his eyes. “I told you what was arranged yet you still went and did what you knew was wrong.”
Tears came to her eyes came to her eyes as guilt overwhelmed inside of her. Her father let her go at the sight of her crying. He quickly turned his back to her and walked back to the window.
“I couldn’t help it father. It’s true love.”
“True love?” Her father laughed at her meaningless words. “True love there is no such thing as true love.”
“Maybe it’s because you and mother were forced into a marriage just like you are trying to force me into thus marriage for your own good.”
Her father turned around and looked at her for a moment.
“Is that what you think Athena?” The king exclaimed. ” That’s what you think that I’m doing this for my own good.”
“It is not what I think. It is what I believe so.”
The king rose an eyebrow and looked at Athena. He was speechless. He couldn’t help but stare at his daughter as she defied him.
Okay you guys I’m sorry I know it seemed like I lied but let me be honest with you I didn’t know that I was getting another electronic device to replace the broken one. Also I hope you enjoy this chapter and I hope I don’t confuse you with it I promise you’ll get it later on in the story.
