Some say the world will end in fire
Some say in ice
From what I’ve tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favour fire
But if I had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction, ice
Is also great
And would suffice

~ Him ~
As I walked towards the treeline, I saw the last moments of Thalia’s spell go up. I smiled to myself and walked through the invisible shimmer.
I was happy to see that I was alone and got to work.
As I can’t really feel the cold, I took water from the lake and created a sheet which I connected to some trees to form a sort of roof, and there is was, my new home.
I smiled widely to myself as I made up my bed and put my bag down.
As I turned to the lake, I heard Kol walk to the treeline. I ran to him before he crossed, just in case he couldn’t come through.
“Kol!” I called, and ran into him for a hug.
“Eli?” he questioned, before wrapping his arms around me tightly.
“Hi.” I breathed.
“This is a change, I’ve never seen you so happy, I like it.”
“Well, I stood up to everyone today! My bullies and my parents, I’m free!”
He looked down at me with a smile, before kissing me softly.
He pulled away and smiled at me again.
“Come,” I said, taking his hand, “I wanna show you something!”
I pulled him through the barrier to my ‘home’.
“It’s not much,” I looked down in embarrassment, “but it’s home now.”
“I happen to think it’s beautiful.” he said.
I turned to him and gave him a kiss.
Everything is going to be alright.
