I haven’t been going to school for the past week. I haven’t had it in me to get beat up by the Jock Pack, so I’ve been wondering around the forest, though, I’ve also been avoiding my haven in fear of seeing Kol.
Toady, though, is the day that I’m going to face my fear.
I said goodbye to Thalia and made the long walk to the only place I’ve felt safe.
When I got there, it was empty, no one was there. So, I sat by the lake.
After sitting there for about an hour, just meditating, I decided to take a swim. So, after stripping down to my underwear, I dove into the cold water.
I was lying on my back after a half hour when I heard him.
I looked up to see him standing by the Willow with his shoulders slumped.
He sat down and yet again put the picture up on the Willow. I slowly moved and walked towards to see that it was a picture of an older boy, must be his older brother Niklaus.
He was beautiful. He had black hair that had stripes of blue in it and bright blue eyes, so he must’ve been a water Mage. He had a huge smile on his face, before everything.
“I miss him Nik…”
I was pulled back to look at Kol, who had his head bowed down.
“And I know it’s stupid to say that as I’ve hardly talked to him, but I miss him.” he continued.
“And I wish you were here with me, you always knew what to say, ” he chuckled, “I can’t help but wonder if you’d like him.”
I decided to leave him to his own devices, and I was putting on the last of my clothes when I heard something that made me stop.
“Elijah… even his name is beautiful.”
I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at him.
“I just wish that I could see him again…”
My heart thudded loudly in my chest and I quickly ran back to the house.
