ISHA POV
On the way home I was thinking about a way to ask for his permission for the trip . He’s still ignoring me talking only when necessary . If I promised to get better marks maybe then he would agree…..no no…reminding him about the test is not a good idea . I have to think about something else .
At home he’s working in his laptop and I’m looking at him still trying to figure out how to ask him . My thoughts were intrupted by a ping from my phone notifications quickly popping on the screen from our group Chat.
Kajal: ” tum logo ne baat ki kya ghr pr …..Mera to confirm ho gya π”
Shreyansh: “yupp….Mera bhi confirm hai or mere pass camera bhi hai mstt photos lengeπ”
Kajal: ” Bohot mja ayega yrr…..ek min ye Isha kha hai ?”
Shreyansh: ” khi isk gharvalo ne mna krdi hai Jane k liye isliye bathroom m jaake ro to nhi rhi ….bechari π
Hum photos bhej denge tujhe chinta mtt kr “
Isha : I’m here you idiot and I’m not cryingπ
Kajal : so how did it go at your home ? Are you coming with us…….please say yesπ₯Ί
Isha : i still haven’t asked them …..I’m trying to find a way so that they would not say no
Shreyansh: mene to pehle he kha tha meri baat krado ek baar unse m samjhadunga pr meri to sunni he nhi hai
Kajal : yea we can talk to them maybe then they will agree seeing that everyone is going
Now how should I explain it to them that the one they are asking to talk is my husband and if they knew who he’s they will be running in the opposite direction.
Isha : no …I will do it don’t worry….bss mere liya pray krna

Putting my phone down I went towards him and stood infront of him , I know he knows that I’m here but still not looking up .
“Rudra” I called touching him with my index finger on his shoulder trying to catch his attention. He looked up from his laptop.
” yes?”
“You know that our college is taking us on a trip” I said with a smile
“What about it ?” He asked acting unbotherd.
” so everyone is going -”
” you are not going anywhere , go practice the sheets I gave you earlier ” he said cutting me in the mid and returned to his work dismissing me .
” but why ….I know you are still angry at me but it’s not fair , I will not get this opportunity again and all my friends are going even Shreyansh his parents said yes and you are my husband still you are being so cruel with me ” my voice raising a little with hurt and anger .
“Ohh now you are talking about what’s fair or not ” he said mockingly ” and I don’t care what his parents are doing and just because I’m your husband doesn’t mean I don’t care about you or I don’t have the right “
” I don’t care , I want to go ” I said folding my hands infront
” Why do you always have to be so stubborn ” he said running a hand through his hair .
“I’m going and I don’t need your permission I’m an adult now if I can get married then I can also decide if I can go on a trip or not ” I said stomping my feet and as I turned to leave I got stumbled on something on the floor and lost my footing , expecting to hit the ground I closed my eyes in fear .
but the pain didn’t come instead I felt his hand on my waist holding me tightly against his chest ” What were you saying again , huhh….yes I’m an adult now I can decide everything, he said mimicking me a smile tugging at the corner of his lips .
With a glare I pushed him and stood up .
“You can make how much fun you want to but I’m going”
“Fine anyway I would also be there so don’t even think about doing something stupid there” he said narrowing his gaze
” so you are OK with it ” I couldn’t contain my joy and excitement
“Yes but I thought you were already going ” he asked raising a brow
“It’s different….I Don’t want to go fighting you , I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the trip if you were angry ” yes I said that I would go even if he doesn’t agree but saying and doing are two different things . I know he’s being strict bcz he cares for me I can’t blame him for that and the reason was also my fault so him agreeing made me so happy.
” Mai abhi sbko msg krk bta deti hu mujhe bhi permission mil gyi ” I said excitedly picking my phone quickly typed a msg informing them .
“We are going on the mountains , we will do tracking but Rudra I don’t have the shoes for tracking “I asked panicking.
” don’t worry there’s still so much time we can go shopping for whatever you need ”
” Thank u thank u….so much, you are the best husband” I said excitedly while engulfing him in a tight hug . I can hear him chuckle ” ohhh really….just a moment ago someone called me cruel” he said teasingly wrapping his arms around my waist .
” kisne mere itne sweet husband ko cruel bola….kese ajeeb log hain….inki baaton pr Dhyan mtt diya kro aap” I said looking up from his chest. At that he burst out laughing making also me smile .
” dramebaaz ” he said shaking his head still holding me and the look in his eyes was of pure adoration and love. I just grinned at that .
Day of the trip
All the students are ready and standing outside the bus as the teachers were giving instructions to the students.
” you can sit with your friends or wherever you want but there should be no fight or unnecessary disturbance during travel if it happens I will fix your sit and one more important thing after reaching there don’t wander alone it’s dangerous you can get lost or be a prey to a wild animal so stay with the group ” a corus of yes sir echoed loudly and one by one we entered the bus.
I was trying to find a Vacant seat as I saw Adi sir standing up from his seat ” you can sit here …i want to sit in the back ” he said giving me a polite smile as he stepped aside my gaze fell on the person sitting next to him , I looked at adi sir who was giving Rudra a mischievous smile and went to sit in the back .
” are you just going to stand there ” he said signing to sit down .
Putting my backpack on the upperpart I sat down beside him , carefully Leaning towards him I pulled his shirts sleave causing him to look down , he raised his brows but bend down a little giving me his ear ” Did you asked adi sir to leave ” I wishperd in his near .
” Why would I do that ? And he himself wanted to sit there ”
“Do you not want to sit with me ?” The expression on his face was like he really think that I would ever be bothered with being close to him .
“If you want , we can sit on the same seat ” I said with a smirk as soon as the words registered in his mind a slight blush creep up on his face with a slightly shocked expression. He just cleared his throat and looked other side . Guess he got his answer .
Shreyansh and Kajal were siting on the other side a seat next to mine . But we were still able to talk without any issue .
” are yrr tune btaya nhi tere parents kese maan gye ” Kajal asked looking curiously , my gaze automatically went towards Rudra who was listening to our conversation but pretending not to by looking outside the window.
” yrr bohot kaam karvaya, bartan dhulvaye Ghar ki safai or itna sunaya bhi bdi mushkil se permission mili hai” I said with a sad tone . Beside me Rudra started coughing giving me a glare ” What happened sir are you OK…wait I have water ” getting my water bottle from my bag I gave it to him .
He took it and leaned down to my ear ” ohhh really where was I when you were doing all these works …..must have been hard for you poor soul” he said sarcastically, I just gave him a proud smile.
“Meri advice maankr baat kradi hoti unse to ye Majduri nhi krni pdti pr mujhe ku serious loge ” Shreyansh spoke from his seat shaking his head .
” I would have liked to see him trying to talk ” Rudra mumbled frustratingly causing me to suppress a smile .
After few ours we reached there . We didn’t even noticed how the time went by talking and singing songs having fun.
As we reached the spot groups were formed so that it would be easy to maintain the students. Each group had one teacher as their supervisor .
We wander around for sometime taking pictures and videos of the beautiful view of mountains and forests .
I was also successful in taking pictures with Rudra some group photos and single photo with only us .
Some groups already went for the hike . ” Let’s go or we will be the last one to reach on the top ” Shreyansh said urging us .
” Let’s do something fun take different routes and who will be the first to reach will get a prize ….what do you guys say ” he said excitedly.
” what’s the prize …..if it’s something lame I’m not interested ” I said pouting . What…..I’m not going to waste my energy over nothing. I’m a material girl ( hair flipping)
” lalchi ladki …..fine the other two will do the assignments of the person who won for whole semester”well it doesn’t sound bad and who likes to do the assignments….not me.
” Fine….but what about the teachers wouldn’t they notice that we are missing ” if we got caught then this time no one can save us .
” don’t worry Archana mam isn’t that attentive, after sometime we will slowly disperse and we have maps we will reach there before them so they wouldn’t even notice that we were not together ”
Everything went according to our plan we managed to get out of the group on the way without being noticed.
How hard it will be to reach there the guide told us that it’s 1.5 hr path only and I’m walking for half an hour now , if keep my speed there’s a chance I can win and then I don’t have to do any assignments for whole semester.
My all dreams were shattered because now I’m walking for an hour without taking even a minute of rest but there’s no sign of the spot we have to gather. I’m officially lost .
Finally I gave up and took out my phone to call my friends but there’s no signal . Ohhh my god what will I do now , how would they know where to find me …..what if an animal came and what if they couldn’t find me till next day ….what would I do at night the thoughts making my heart clench with fear .
My legs are hurting so badly that I’m barely able to walk . This was such a stupid idea , once I got out from here I will punch that idiot Shreyansh’s face. All of this is because of him .
More time has passed now and I don’t have a ounce of energy in my body to keep moving . Am I going to die here ….alone . What if no one can find me , I’m on the verge of crying , feeling so lost and alone . The sun is beginning to set in the mountains leaving the darkness behind making the forest more fearful, the voices of animals can be heard from every side in the dark .

Here everyone has completed the hike and were gathered but Rudra’s gaze was trying to find that one person for whom his heart was filled with worry because she was nowhere to be found . He reached Shreyansh and Kajal who were talking very slowly with each other with worried expressions both of them became tensed as they heard his deep voice , ” Where’s Isha? she was with you guys ”
They both looked at each other with expression of fear , guilt and worry . ” sir We don’t know Where’s she ” Kajal replied in a low voice .
” What do you mean you don’t know ” Rudra asked his voice sharp with an edge. he couldn’t help it . Each passing moment made him worried about her even more.
Shreyansh came forward ” sir we decided to take different paths and who will come first would win we arrived here on time but there’s no trace of her , maybe she got lost ” he said with a guilty expression, he didn’t know that a simple gave would result this .
” have you lost your minds , we told you even before arriving to stay in group and don’t wander but you idiots think you are so much smarter than us ” Rudra said frustratingly running a hand through his hair .
His heart pumping so fast due to the fear of something happening to her . He shouldn’t have allowed her to come on this fucking trip, yes she would have been angry for some days but he would bear it atleast she would be safe .
Everyone was told to search for Isha in the groups and the sun was setting making it harder . Every student and teacher was screaming her name . Rudra went towards the path Shreyansh and kajal told him Isha was supposed to follow.
He was screaming his name like a mad men .The night felt heavy as he searched frantically, his heart pounding with each passing second. The darkness seemed to close around him , amplifying his fears as he called out her name , desperation lacing his voice.
“Where are you? ” he wishperd, anxiety clawing at his chest. Every moment without her felt like a lifetime, and the thought of her being lost and alone sent a chill through him.
He again called out her name , his voice echoing in the silence , each syllable laced with desperation and longing.
Meanwhile on the other side Isha was crouched behind a tree , tears streaming down her face. She had wanderd too far, and the realisation of her solitude overwhelmed her. The sound of his voice cut through her panic , and she felt the rush of hope. When she finally stepped out from her hiding place , their eyes locked , she saw the worry etched on his face .
The moment their gazes met , a rush of emotions flooded over them . He felt a wave of relief wash over him , quickly followed by an overwhelming rush of affection. He closed the distance between them , breathless and wide-eyed.
As he rushed toward her , relief washed over her , mingling with tears that blurred her vision . She threw herself into his arms , the warmth of his embrace wrapping around her like a lifeline.
“I was so scared”she sobbed , her voice trembling as she buried her face in his shoulder. He held her tightly, feeling the weight of his worry dissipate as he wishperd soothing words , his heart swelling with both relief and love.
As he reached her the world around them fade into blur. His hands found her face , his thumbs brushing softly against her cheeks , grounding her amidst the chaos. She could see the storm of emotions in his eyes -relief , love , and an unspoken promise. In that moment all the uncertainty and fear melted away , replaced by an undeniable pull toward each other.
She had always felt a connection to him, but now, standing so close , it was electric.
Seeing her in his arms he felt a rush of emotions fear had transformed into gratitude that she was safe. He leaned in capturing her lips with his in a kiss . The kiss started softly , as if they were both savoring the moment, feeling the warmth and safety of each other . but the kiss quickly deepened, fueled by the emotions that had been building between them . He cupped her face , his thumb brushing against her cheek , wiping away the remnants of her tears .she responded instinctively, leaning into him , deepening the kiss as a wave of emotions surged through her .It was a kiss of longing , of all the moments they had shared , and the ones they had yet to experience.
In that moment , everything else dissappeard- the fear , the night, the uncertainty- leaving just the two of them , intertwined in a moment of pure connection and comfort.
