“Why what happened” Rudra asked the other professor with the same cold and authoritive voice he always uses in college.
Ohh God plz save me , apko 20 rs ka prashad chadaungi bss iss baar bachalo.
“These two were caught cheating in the test , they were exchanging sheets with each other…….their guardians should know what their children are doing instead of studying and being honest” the professor said shaking his head in dissapointmet towards us .
(A/N – I’m not against cheating….. just be good at it and don’t get caught….btw I’m a topper so do it on your own risk π)
If looks could kill i would be dead already by the way Rudra is looking at us .
“You deal with him , i will talk to her guardian” he said to the professor without breaking the eye contact, i gulped in fear by the thought of facing his anger .
“Yea it’s good, I have some other work also I need to leave early…. thanks for helping …..you come with me” he said the last part to shreyansh and then went to his office.
Here I was standing looking down at my feet not being able to meet his gaze .
“What happened now…….why are u standing so silently….I thought u love talking” his voice dripped with sarcasm.
“Or you ran out of your excuses” he continued, but I remained silent….and what should I even say ….I know it’s my fault for not studying properly and then getting caught while cheating.
“Come to my office” he ordered and started walking without even looking back to check if I’m following him or not ….huhhh look at him being all bossy if I wasn’t in deep shit I would say it’s kind a hot but I don’t even think about releasing these words out of my mouth he’s already fuming with anger , I’m not going to make it worse by joking. I don’t have a death wish, thank you very much.
As I entered the office after him , my heart was beating so fast due to the fear .
“Look at me ” his voice sharp, forcing me to follow his command . As I looked up his face was fuming with anger.
“When I told you to study and don’t take it lightly you just made random excuses instead of working hard but now you are cheating in the exam ….. don’t you have anything to say ”
I was so embarassed that i couldn’t even look him in the eye let alone answer him .
“Ab kya hua….bolo na , vese to itna idhar udhar ki baatein krti ho ab kya hua…..meri he glti h, jada bigaad rkha h tumhein ”
“I’m sorry ” i mumbled still looking down
“No it’s my fault really, i should have been strict with you from earlier, i will not listen to your excuses from now on “his each word breaking my heart, i know it’s my fault but I don’t want him to change.
“Please don’t talk like that …i will study seriously from now on i promise ” I said pleading him with my eyes
His tough exterior cracked but it was just for a fraction of second he regained it quickly.
“No did you think about that before cheating..no ….then you have to face the consequences now “his tone clearly indicating that he will not budge on this
There was a sudden knock on the door and as I turned to look , the professor who was our invigilator was standing there
“Did you talk with her guardian ” he asked Rudra walking inside the office
“Yes ” he replied throwing a glare towards me
“So what did they said ?” Why does he has so much interest isn’t it enough that we got punishment but no he wants to know everything huhh
“I’m her guardian ” his deep voice sounded without any hint of hesitation.
WHAT!! Did he really just said that infront of him but why he could have said anything and that professor wouldn’t have to know our relationship.
The professor was mirroring my shock .
“What …i mean how are you related to her “? He asked looking at us
“She’s my wife ”
Was this really necessary, he had to disclose our relationship when I was caught cheating in the exam….does he really don’t know about bad timing or he’s just punishing me .
If the professor was shocked before then he’s completely lost now he looked at me twice like he’s trying to confirm what Rudra said was true.
“Yes sir he’s my husband” i said trying to ease his confusion
“Ummm okay……” he said awkwardly definitely not expecting the bomb Rudra just so casually dropped. “you should take your studies seriously, you have such a brilliant teacher at home you should be performing better than others ” saying he went away from there
Without saying a word Rudra also left the office, i followed him because it was time to go home.
The entire drive he didn’t speak a single word whole drive was filled with silence and after all the things I didn’t have the courage to initiate a conversation. He was focused on the road ahead not even spareing me a glance.
As we reached home he went to our room directly completely ignoring me
I can’t take this anymore. I want my husband back but now he’s acting like I’m nothing more than a student to him
At the time of dinner we are sitting on the table he’s eating his food there’s no sound except that . I have no appetite so I haven’t even touched mine
“Why are you not eating” he asked looking at my untouched plate
“I’m not hungry”
“Finish your food Isha” he said with a sigh
“You will again start ignoring me”I said with a hint of sadness , his expression turned a little softer
“Eat ” saying he continued with his food
It can’t go on forever I have to apologise to him properly and put an end to his ignorance towards me.
I entered the bedroom he was sitting on the bed reading a book . I walked towards him and stood infront of him
“Rudra ….I know I made a mistake and I’m really really sorry for that please forgive me but please don’t ignore me like this i will seriously study from now on but please talk to me ” i don’t know why my eyes become moist.
He looked up from his book and just stared at me for a second”I’m not angry at you atleast not anymore and It was also my fault, i forgot that even though we are married you are still a student and are not mature enough i should have been better at my responsibility towards you , i think I encouraged your behaviour a little too much and the reason I didn’t want to move forward with our relationship was the exact one ….. this is very important time for you and I don’t want you to be distracted and neglecting your studies and career not even for me” the way he was saying all this was because he was blaming himself but why it has nothing to do with him.
“Why are you talking like that i told you I’m sorry and I will study seriously promise. It has nothing to do with you, don’t talk like a teacher in our home ” I said holding his hand
“Well you do need a teacher and I guess it’s a good thing you have one who’s available 24/7 for you ” he said in a light tone trying to make the situation lighter but I know he was serious about those things he said earlier and now he’s just trying to avoid talking about it
Knowing that there would be no use pushing the topic further I asked him about the next bomb he just dropped so casually today in the college,”you told that professor about our relationship”
“Yes” he replied casually like it’s not a big deal
“But you himself told me not to share it ” I asked not understanding the reason behind his sudden mood change
“I said that because you were new and I didn’t want to create unnecessary problems for you or distract you because of unnecessary gossips but now you are settled and it was necessary, what do you wanted me to do call your mother ? Because someone has to be your guardian and now you are my responsibility, it was a matter of time anyway it would have come out sooner or later ”
“So you don’t have any problem if I share it with my friends?” I asked just to be sure
“No and it’s your decision you can tell them whenever you feel right ”
“And stay away from that boy , he’s not a good influence on you” he said with a clenched jaw .

Not wanting to poke the bear more I didn’t said anything.
I was tossing and turning around for one hour on the bed but still was unable to sleep. I looked towards Rudra who was sleeping on his back and a hand on his face . A sadness overtook me as I remembered that he’s creating distance between us thinking that he’s the reason for my distraction i couldn’t go and sleep in his arms peacefully forgetting everything.
I turned towards other side with my back towards him after sometime I felt his hand on my stomach his warm hand instantly melting my inside and creating all sort of weird feelings. He pulled me towards himself his chest colliding with my back his entire body pressed with mine then he nuzzled his face in my neck and wishperd “sleep” feeling his warm breath on my earlobe a current ran through my whole body after sometime I closed my eyes enjoying the warmth and closeness of his body and in no time I drifted to sleep.
Next morning when I woke up Rudra was already up and ready for the college . At the breakfast he was checking his phone and I remembered that the professor must have told everyone in the college about us.
” Rudra…” I called him gaining his attention. He raised one dark brow asking me to speak further
” ummm. …..do you think that professor would have told others about us ”
” I Don’t think so but even if he did it’s not a problem I was going tell everyone today anyway ” saying he again went to his phone .
” but why do you want to tell everyone suddenly, I can understand telling that professor because you are my guardian now but why others” i asked not understanding his change in mood
” Why are you so surprised, weren’t you asking me disclose our relationship the very first day ….have you changed your mind now ?” His question leaving me fumbling. It’s not like I Don’t want everyone to know about the relationship but the problem is reason behind this decision.
” don’t worry i will just tell the staff and instruct them not to share that with students. It’s upto you completely ” he said trying to reassure me .
Now I’m sitting in the class and the teacher is signing some document brought by peon ” students pay attention, this is the notice about the college trip on next Saturday …..those students who wants to go can give their names to one student and submit the fees , don’t forget you have until Thursday to submit the fees ” hearing about the trip everyone got so excited some even started planning what they are going to wear or how they are going to have so much fun .
” finally ek college trip ….mujhe to lga tha bss test or assignment m he college Khatami ho jayega ” Kajal said from the seat infront of me turning her head towards me . “Sablog Kal he fees submit kr Dena khi baad m group m se koi reh jaye ” Shreyansh spoke from beside
” are you sure your mother will allow you to go and you too Isha , you both were caught cheating yesterday I heard they talked to your guardians…….tum logo ko bohot hath per jodne pdenge Ghar per ” she said with a pout .
Well she’s right . There’s absolutely no way Rudra will agree for me to go on this trip after all this .
” are chill meri Chinta mtt kro tum log mene bola Tha na meri mummy cool hain mene unhe Sach bta diya sab ……me to bss dost ki help kr rha tha toh unhone jada kuchh nhi kha ” shreyansh said calmly. It must have been nice to have such cool parents and then there’s me, Rudra is just giving me silent treatment and acting a little grumpy with me from yesterday but If it was my mother who found out about it she will surely beat me with a slipper or whatever came in her hand at that time . I got goosebumps by just imagining it . Achcha hai shaadi ho gyi .
” are tum tension mat lo tumhare Ghar Mai baat kr Lunga, vese bhi Mera charm resist nhi kr Pata koi ” he said with a grin looking at my worried expression. If he even tried talking to Rudra about me then Jo ek percent chance hai trip pr Jane ka vo bhi Khatam ho jayega .
