3rd Person POV
Illumi returned to his bedroom to find Y/n laying down with D/n tucked into her side, playing with her little tamagotchi pet.
“(b̶i̶t̶c̶h̶) Is that my sweater?”
Y/n looked towards the man than down at the purple zip up she found in the back of the closet.
“Yes. Yes it is.”
Without another word, Illumi climbed into the bed and curled into Y/n’s other side, opposite to D/n. This came as a surprise, as Illumi was never much for casual, physical contact.
“What’s up with you? Aww, did you miss me?” Y/n teased, bringing a hand to stroke the man’s hair.
“Perhaps,” he hummed, closing his eyes an relaxing into her touch.
Noticing the shift in her mothers attention, D/n was quick to lay across her body (being mindful of the baby) and lightly hit her father a few times.
“Go away, meanie! This is me and mommy time only!”
Illumi peeked his eyes open, only to stick his tongue out at the little girl before closing them again. He hadn’t spent much quality time with Y/n either, so either D/n goes to her room or learns to share.
D/n huffed in annoyance, settling for squeezing in between the both of her parents.
Sighing, Illumi relaxed further into the comfort of the situation. He decided it would be best to rest at least for a short while before the long hours of work awaiting him the next day.

Y/n POV
It had been a few months since the poison situation, and things went back to relatively normal. The only true difference was I hadn’t seen Kikyo lurking about like she usually did. I’m sure she’s still somewhere in the estate, but she hasn’t bothered me since.
Good riddance.
I’m nearing the end of my third trimester and a new baby Zoldyck could pop out of me any day now. The residents of the estate, including butlers, have been monitoring me even closer and Illumi has been working much more than usual.
The assassin business must be booming.
Today happened to be the day of Kalluto and I’s weekly chats. We sat in the garden, enjoying the atmosphere and warm jasmine tea he had prepared. These chats were often Kalluto catching me up on his most recent hobbies or projects, today being no different.
“Hey, Y/n?”
I hummed in response, turning to look at him and setting down my cup of tea.
“Well, you know I started knitting recently,” he says, reaching into his obi for something. (its cannon bc i said so, im actually togashi myself fr)
He then pulls out two small, dark green mittens and holds them to me.
“I made these. They’re for the baby,” he says, looking away and feeling a little embarrassed. They weren’t perfect but for someone who started knitting a mere few weeks ago, they were impressive.
“Thank you Kalluto, they’re lovely,” I said smiling warmly as I took the mittens from him.
“So, what are you going to name the baby?”
“I don’t know yet,” I say, looking down at my stomach. “Maybe I’ll let Illumi pick this time.”
It only seems fair that Illumi gets to name the new baby, considering the fact he didn’t even know about D/n at first. To be fair, I raised her alone but I still feel like I owe it to him. Besides, the Zoldycks have a particular way of naming their children. Considering D/n is almost a spitting image of her father, I wonder what the baby will look like.
Hopefully it has my eyes this time…
I remember the day I had D/n like it was yesterday. When she opened her eyes for the first time, they were so large that the nurses almost jumped in surprise. That day was the day I learned that the Zoldycks have strong genes.
After chatting with Kalluto a little longer, I got up to try and make my way to the bathroom. After taking a few steps, I felt something wet slide down my leg.
Shit.
