Y/n POV
All the fighting with Illumi and trying to hide it from D/n has really been taking its toll on me. I’ve been even more stressed and irritable than usual, so much to the point I even make myself nauseous.
Now that I think about it, I’ve also had to pee a lot more frequently.
And I’m bloated
And my period is late…
Oh shit. Not good.
Once realization dawned on me, I immediately started freaking out. It had been a few weeks since.. y’know… and Illumi definitely did NOT use protection. I CAN’T AFFORD TO HAVE ANOTHER BABY ESPECIALLY NOT ANOTHER ZOLDYCK!
Uh oh.
In the midst of all my panicking, I felt my stomach churn. I ran to the bathroom, fortunately making it to the toilet and puking up my entire digestive system.
“Ms. Y/n, are you alright?”
I weakly look up to see Canary standing in the doorway of the bathroom, me having left it open. She walked over to me and gently rested her hand on my shoulder.
“Canary I think I’m-“
Before I could finish, I leaned back over the toilet and threw up once again, Canary reaching to hold my hair back(if your hair is short or ur bald ignore this part lolz).
“Pregnant?” she finished for me.
Sitting back up, I wiped my bottom lip before replying. “Yeah.”
Canary sighed before standing up and asking, “Would you like me to pick you up a pregnancy test?”
“Could you? And please don’t tell anyone else about this… especially Kikyo.”
“Of course, it’s none of my business to share anyways.”
And with that, Canary stepped out.

I stood next to Canary, staring at not one but TWO positive pregnancy tests.
“Canary… I can’t keep this baby,” I said, feeling overwhelmed with emotion. “I’m struggling to keep D/n out of this family’s shit, it would be almost impossible to do that with both children!”
“So what are you planning to do?”
“I have no clue, all I know is I have to hide this from Illumi as long as possible.”
Canary’s face ever so slightly wavered, a small scowl adorning her features. “You know how impractical that is, Master Illumi has keen senses.”
“But he can’t know! Especially not now!”
“I can’t know what?”
