AN: Hey guys, just wanted to let you know this is the last chapter an epilogue may be possible, but it is really hard for me to write this story because I don’t really care for one direction that much anymore.
It was gorgeous here. I loved everything about it here and I was grateful to have a few days off from everything. My butt however, was not grateful for the 13+ hour trip to here. We were all tired too, so we just stayed in the room for the first couple of hours. Louis was sprawled across our twin bed that we were sharing. Somehow we both managed to fit on the bed even though it was tight. We decided to just share a room with Liam and Zayn because the cost of the vacation was already a bit pricey.
Louis was stretched out on the bed with me, we were watching The Office on Netflix. Louis loved this show, I didn’t really enjoy it, but every now and then I found myself laughing at something Dwight would say. We were all still kind of messed up from jet lag. Liam had made plans for us later to take surfing lessons and tomorrow we’re supposed to be going to scuba diving.
Our hotel room was on the beach and it was honestly the prettiest thing I have ever seen. Though, I could do without the constant smell of the sea out on the balcony. It’s just horrible.
Louis shifted so he could rest his head on my chest and I wrapped my arm around his shoulder.
“What do you want to for dinner babe?” Louis asked, glancing up at me.
The light that was trickling in the room hit his eyes and I felt the breath get knocked out of me. The light revealed the true colors of his eyes and it was truly stunning. He was truly stunning. Everything about him was perfection.
“I love you.” I whispered, before burying my head into his hair. I felt my heart pick up after realizing he probably heard me say that.
Louis let out a breathless laugh against my chest, I could feel him shaking against my body.
“I love you too, but that doesn’t answer what you want for dinner.” Louis mumbled.
“We could order something from room service?” I offered.
“That would be nice, if we weren’t in Hawaii. We’ve barely seen anything and we’ve been staying in our rooms like lazy bums.” Louis complained.
“Well, how about you let me get dressed in something that’s not sweatpants and I’ll treat you to a real date?” I asked and smiled down at him. He smiled back before leaning up to kiss me, quick and sweet.
“Sure babe, go freshen up.” Louis said as he lifted himself up off of me.
“I love you.” I said as I sat up.
“I love you too.” I don’t think I would ever get tired of him saying that.

I fiddle with the box in my pocket, trying to decide when was the right time to give it to him. Liam had almost always been the one to make a move to further our relationship and I wanted to be that person for once. We were walking on the beach after watching the sunset and he was currently babbling about our plans with Louis and Harry for tomorrow.
I stop walking and Liam looks at me, confused. I take the ring out of my pocket and thrust it into his arms.
“Uh, babe what is this?” Liam asked and I look anywhere but his eyes.
“So it’s definitely not a marriage proposal, but it’s a promise ring. I love you, like a lot Liam and I promise no matter what that I will always love you. I want to marry you one day Liam and I promise I will fight to have you by my side no matter what, okay. ” I manage to stutter out and I finally look Liam in the eye.
His eyes look dangerously watery and he has the box open looking at the ring. I watch as he takes the ring out and slides it carefully on to his ring finger.
“I love it, and I love you Zayn.” He said and kisses me passionately.
*3rd person*
Harry lies awake that night and he holds Louis tight to him. When he thought about the future he never thought he would end up here. Holding Louis, easily the love of his life, in his arms. He thought true love was never for him, he was always by himself and always thought of Liam as a brother. Harry was always scared of the future.
And now, Harry lies awake. He thinks of the future, whether or not Louis will still be with him. The future in which, now all he can see is the possibilities, instead of the blurry mess it was before.
When Louis thinks of the future, he thinks of Harry. He thinks about getting a cozy apartment together, marrying him. He thinks about taking him home to finally meet his parents. He thinks about adopting a couple of kids with him. Louis thinks of the future and he gets butterflies.
When Zayn thinks about the future, he thinks about art. How he could become a really good artist if he starts practicing more. He thinks about Liam, his smile warming his heart. He thinks about the ring he just gave him, the weight behind it all. One day he hopes to put the real deal on his ring finger.
When Liam thinks about the future he thinks about Zayn. Zayn, who came into his life and made it such a beautiful mess. He thinks about going home and getting Zayn a ring to match the one he is currently wearing. He thinks about moving forward with his life and pursuing a career in music.
When Niall thinks of the future, he thinks of his beautiful baby girl. He thinks of West and how he is going to raise her to be such a beautiful and strong woman just like her mother. He thinks of Harry and how grateful he was for having such a strong support system when he needed it the most. He thinks of letting Morgan live on through him and his daughter.
When the boys think of the future, they think of each other. The small makeshift family that formed when they had nobody but each other to lean on. When they think of the future, they smile, and begin to look forward to what the future has in store.

After about nineish months?? I finally finished writing this. I have to say I’m pretty proud of it. This is my last and final work in the one direction fandom. It has been fun, I’ve had a lot of great memories with this fandom, but it’s time for me to throw in the towel I think.
Thank you guys for your amazing love and support through out this whole entire book. You guys being so kind was one of the main reasons I decided to finish this book. The other being I felt like garbage not being able to finish this. But thats besides the point.
