It seems like that man killed the daughter of a high ranked government official who was so happy that his daughter will finally get her peaceful rest, that he wanted to thank me in person for my valuable help in catching and punishing the monster. Anyways, he asked me what I would want as a thankful reward, money, properties, or anything I’d want.
I asked him if he would be able to do me this great favor that would somehow defy the law. He was startled a bit, but he nevertheless told me to speak up. So, I told him that my soon-to-be brother-in-law was born in China, but he is now a Spanish citizen, as he moved to Spain to live with his father’s new family. I told him that this brother-in-law is not married, but he would badly want to adopt a baby girl whom he met in a Chinese orphanage while he made donations to that orphanage. ‘That’s why I said that my request would defy the law, because my brother-in-law is not only a foreign citizen, but also, he is single, not married, and a male on top of that! Everything would stand against this new adoptions law.’, I dared to tell Mister Minister.
‘It’s a big problem, indeed.’, he sighed, but after thinking a bit , he continued:’But, I’m sure that my beloved daughter would want me to help you, no matter what. Especially that you chose a selfless reward over money. My daughter was the same, selfless and kindhearted, and she would have loved to become a parent, same as your brother-in-law. “What are you keeping doing on the phone, son?”, Ba GuangShan asked Xiao Zhan.

“I am selecting some furniture options for Yue-er’s and Suo-er’s rooms. I’d like something different from the common pink for girls and blue for boys, I’d actually love…”, his son smiled, but the sentence was cut by Yibo’s sudden scream which startled everyone:

“Yes, I’m sick! I’m sick of pretending, I’m sick without your love! It’s killing me this waiting, it’s harder and harder to wait! The adoption finalization could take even a whole year and only after that we can finally get married! MeiMei’s wedding got me insanely jealous of her freedom to be herself!
At least let me propose to you, properly this time, with a proper ring and everything!
