Tony’s POV
After Coulson and Pepper left (Pepper and Coulson are apparently friends (she called him Phil)) I was left alone with my homework for the Avengers initiative… I started reading all the info on the other ‘super’ heroes, and one definitely stood out. Captain America was one hell of a guy, and not to mention hot! I mean I am not gay and all but… Okay who am I deceiving I am bisexual… That is also one of many things Pepper did not know about me, speaking of her I actually feel kinda bad for letting her leave like that…
“JARVIS could you make a call to Pepper?”
“Of course sir.”
*calling*
“Pepper…”
“Hey Pep this is Tony, I am terribly sorry fo-“
“Tony no! I do not want your excuses anymore, I am sick and tired of your I’m sorry’s and I am glad that you set me out, now I can go and live my life like I want to without you to worry about!!”
“Wow Pep I-I didn’t know that you felt like this and I am sorry for holding you back like this. Well then good luck with your further life…”
“You too Tony I hope you find someone that does belong to you.”
*tuut tuut tuut*
Okay well that kinda hurt but it is a relief, it is better than a crying woman… everything is, wait that was sexist so no.
Back to the avengers… “J could you put everything on the screens?”
“Right away sir.”
“Thanks buddy.”
Okay I have seen Captain America, Romanoff is a double agent, note to self: do not trust her. Agent Barton seems trustworthy but has been compromised at the moment, Thor is very strong and a god so that should be good. I’ve done a lot of research on everyone and the tesserect so I guess I am good to go.
“JARVIS get me in my suit, there is a flying ship I have to get to.”
Steve’s POV
After talking to Fury (the guy that looks like a pirate) I agreed to coming along in the jet. In this jet there were a few agents along with agent Coulson, who looked rather starstruck about me.
“It is an honour to finally meet you captain.”
“Thanks…”
“I mean, I’ve met you before while you were unconsious, but this is less weird.”
I nodded along, to be honest I felt weird, while talking to Coulson I was trying to figure out the screen I had in my hands. He gave it to me to get to know the team that I will have to work with.
I saw miss Romanoff and agent Barton, who both looked trustworthy, doctor Banner who could be very dangerous. But who is he??… Tony Stark, wait this is the son of Howard! This guy is pretty genius and… Sexy… (just like his father) I cannot wait to meet this guy.
“Captain we are here.”
“understood.”
We landed on a big ship that looked like one of the little things that were understandable to me. I walked out of the yet and saw a woman with red hair walking toward me, I think that this is miss Romanoff. She came to me and shook my hand
“Captain.. Nice to finally meet you, I have heard a lot about you. I am Natasha Romanoff, a SHIELD agent. This must all be very different for you, after being unconscious for about 70 years.”
“actually, this is kind of familiar.”
After a brief talk a man, I reckon is Bruce Banner came walking to us. He looked odd in his comfy clothes, surrounded by all the people in suits or combat gear, with some yet’s around him. I mean I have my comfy clothes on too but they kind of look combat ready… They remind me of my old days in the army. While I was daydreaming Bruce was already standing in front of me holding out his hand for me to shake, which I did.
“Hello Captain, let me introduce myself. I am Bruce Banner, I am here to track the Tesseract, I have been told that you have been in touch with it, maybe you could give me some info about what you have seen?”
“Doctor Banner, I have indeed been in touch with it’s energy but not so direct. I could tell you what I know, which is not a lot, why don’t we go inside.”
When I turned around I heard something fly past me and saw it, or him, land in front of me. So this must be the one person I was dying for to meet. Tony Stark. His headpiece slid off and showed his face, which was even more beautiful in real life than on a picture. Wait I am staring.
“You must be Tony stark?”
“Why yeah I am, Captain Rogers I presume? Nice to meet you.” he said while stretching out his hand which I gladly shook.
“Boys while you are checking each other out, the ship is starting to take of.”
“I-I-I was not checking him out… Wait taking off, I thought this was some sort of submarine.” i said while trying to hide my blush.
“Oh no captain this is far from a submarine, this is called a Helicarrier, it is a ship and a plane in one. Oh and about that checking each other out, I was just joking Cap, no need to blush.” Natasha replied. Well done Steve, first day and you already made a fool of yourself. I hope the next days will be better.

sooo yeah… THE PRODIGAL SON RETURNS!!!! After a very long wait I have brought my fic to life again, I hope this chapter was a bit okay it needs a little bit of getting used to writing again… Sooo yeah i guess youve already figured out that this is based on the Avengers but I am not going to have this follow the script of the movie exactly, i am going to skip some things and add some things… HOPE YOU LIKE IT.
