(I wrote this story, like, one or two years ago…)
*Sehun’s POV*
It’s been 3 years since Luhan left. I still think of him constantly. He was my best buddy. But, he had to leave for some problems he had. He deleted all contact with remaining members because he said it would be best. But, for me, it made it worst.
The manager said he needed to talk to me. So, that’s where I’m headed.
I walked up to the white double doors and knocked on the door.
“Sehun? Please come in.” with that said, Sehun walked into the room and bowed to the manager a little. Then, he sat down in front of the manager. The manager continued, “It seems you have been having problems since Luhan left. Am I right?” he leaned back in his chair and studied Sehun’s reaction.
“Y-yes, sir. Sorry. I’ll try bet-“
“No, no. I have more to ask. It depends on how you answer them. Do you miss Luhan, Sehun?” He asked, leaning forward to look at some papers in front of him.
“Yes, s-sir,” Sehun said, looking down at his hands that were in his lap.
“I’m afraid of what could happen. I could get kicked out of the group. You never know.” Sehun thought.
“Okay. If you talked to him, would you be happier and calm down?” asked the manager, looking at Sehun waiting for an answer.
“I d-don’t know, sir,” Sehun answered honestly.
“Okay. What would you do if you had a chance to stay a week with Luhan in a hotel? Would you try and get him to- you know what? Do you like him?” the manager said, changing what he was saying. Sehun looked at him shocked. Sehun’s face heated up.
“Well… Doesn’t seem you have to answer that. Haha! Luhan!!” he yelled. Sehun looked at him confused as to why he yelled Luhan’s name. The manager smiled at him and stood up. Sehun stood up with him and the manager walked behind him. Sehun turned around to follow his manager. But, came face to face with the person he has missed so much.
“Luhan!!!”
“Sehun!!!” Luhan yelled back in the same tone. Luhan had a huge smile on his face and pulled Sehun into a hug.
“I’ve missed you so much, Lu.” Luhan smiled at what Sehun said. Luhan let go of the hug and whispered in the manager’s ear.
Manager’s Point Of View*
“I’ve missed you so much, Lu.” Luhan smiled at what Sehun said. Luhan let go of the hug and whispered in the manager’s ear.
“Can he move in with me permanently if I ask the members too?” the manager looked at Luhan and nodded ‘yes’. Luhan smiled and said something to Sehun and Sehun smiled.
“Manager-nim? Can I go out and have bubble tea with the members after we talk with the members?” the manager looked at Luhan and Sehun with a serious face.
“Yes. But…,” he said as he walked to his desk. Their eyes follow him. “You must be careful and make sure that the members agree. If they don’t, please, come back to me and we will talk. Okay?” he said looking at them.
“Yes, sir.” Luhan and Sehun said at the same time.
“I trust you, Luhan, to take care of Sehun.” the manager said looking at Luhan.
“I’m not always nice to my idols about dating. But, Sehun went downhill and he deserves someone to make him happy.” thought the manager.
“Excuse me? May we leave now?” Luhan asked.
“Yes. Please. If anything happens, come get me or call me. Sehun. You can give Luhan my number.” the manager said, taking a piece of paper with some information for Sehun just in case he needs something or if Luhan does.
“This is some information for some stuff if you need it, Sehun AND you to Luhan. You are still going to be taking care of one of my idols. You were my idol at one time too. You are still like a friend to me. And you need to be taken care of. I still have some of your papers. Their behind Sehun’s. So, since I don’t need them anymore, there you go. I have a copy of Sehun’s. So… There you go.” the manager walked to the door and opened it. He turned and looked at them and they were staring at him in shock.
“Sehun, you might get a fly in your mouth if you keep it open.” the manager said and laughed. Luhan took his hand and closed Sehun’s mouth.
“Really? Haha! Make sure to take care. Bye.” the manager bowed and they both bowed back. They both walked out the door after bowing and saying bye.
“They both deserve to be happy. So, I’m going to let them.” thought the manager and he sat down in his chair.
Luhan’s Point Of View*
“I can’t believe it. I filed a lawsuit against him and he is still a little nice. I don’t know if it was just for Sehun, or for both of our happiness.” thought a surprised Luhan.
“Lu? Are you okay?” Sehun asked looking at Luhan concerned.
“No. I’m okay. Just….. surprised. That’s all. And maybe a little scared of how the other members are going to react to me just showing up again.” Luhan answered honestly. He was thinking of that too. Luhan grabbed Sehun’s arm as he reached for the dorm room handle. Sehun stopped and looked at Luhan.
“It’s okay. I’ll be right next to you no matter what. Okay?” He let the handle go with his right hand and held Luhan’s hand. Luhan nodded. He took the handle in his left hand while still holding Luhan’s with his right hand. When they stepped in, the members looked at Sehun and then Luhan. They looked at them surprised.
“L-Luhan?” Suho stood up and walked over to them and like always, Luhan still shorter compared to some of them.
“H-hey, guys. Sorry to show up unexpected. ” Luhan apologized.
“No, no. We missed youuuu. I’m glad you came.” Xiumin jumped up and ran to Luhan and hugged him really tight.
“If only we could see the other former members too.” Suho pouted.
*knock knock*
“I guess they’re expecting someone?” wondered Luhan.
“Suho? Are we expecting someone today?” Sehun asked Suho, which is walking toward the door.
“No. Not as I remember.” Suho answered back.
Sehun’s Point Of View*
Suho opened the door and there stood a crazy panda.
“Panda!!!” Sehun ran toward Zitao and hugged him tightly. From where Sehun was standing, hugging Tao, he saw Kris too.
“Kris? Are you okay? Come here!! We miss you too!” Sehun said.
“Kris?! Really?! Come here!!” Kris slowly walked up to Suho. Suho grabbed him when he was in reach and pulled him into a hug.
“Now, now. He’s mine! Haha! Kidding. You two are adorable together.” Tao laughed and walked away. Sehun and Suho looked at each other confused. Kris looked the way Tao walked away, confused.
“Panda!!!!!! Is the dragon here too??!!!!!” Baekhyun screamed from the other room.
“Yes! The dragon is here! Right over there!” Tao pointed at Kris with Baekhyun on his back. Baekhyun jumped off Tao and jumped on Kris.
“Yeah!! We all are 12 for a while again!! Which is probably a couple hours.” Baekhyun got off Kris and walked to his room, sad. We all looked at Tao. Who was now laying on the floor already exhausted. We laughed. Luhan walked to Tao and poked him.
“You okay there, Tao?” Luhan asked and sat next to him.
“Maybe. I wonder what it would feel like if I was here this whole time. Would I even be alive?!!” Tao asked and laughed. We all laughed with him. Kris pulled Tao up next to him. Tao thanked Kris.
“So, how are you guys?” Sehun jumped at the sudden voice behind him.
“Manager-nim! Why did you scare me! I could have had a heart attack! Aish!” He just laughed and sat on the chair that was next to all of them.
“EXO!!!! Living room! Now, please!” Manager-nim called. The other members started piling out of their rooms.
“Where is Lay?” Kris asked, confused.
“Lay? He is busy in his other business. He hasn’t been here for a while. He didn’t have the latest comeback ‘The War’ with us either.” Suho answered.
“Oh. Sorry.” Kris said. The other members were surprised to see the three former members in their living room again. But, they welcomed them here anyway. After a while, the rest of the members were out of their rooms. The manager smiled at all the members and former members.
“Well, I don’t know if Sehun and Luhan have already asked. But, they a question. So….” the manager started off for Luhan and Sehun.
“Well, I know I came unexpectedly. But, I want to know if Sehun can move in with me? Before! You say anything, I move back to Seoul. My apartment is very close. Speaking of it being really close, it’s the building next door.” Luhan asked all the present members. They all looked surprised. Tao and Kris were surprised too.
“No……,” Suho started, Luhan and Sehun looking panicked. Then, Suho continued. “I don’t like either of you being in that apartment. Maybe you can get in this building? Wait, not building. Dorm.” Suho suggested. He looked at the manager. The manager was thinking.
“How can I do that? I’m not a member anymore. <*whisper* Ouch. That really hurt though. I wish I was still a member.>” Luhan said. Sehun apparently heard what he said. Because Sehun looked at him and hugged him. When they let go of the hug, Sehun put his arm around Luhan’s neck and pulled him closer and put Luhan’s head on his shoulder. Suho looked at them back and forth. Sehun realized why. He looked at the manager and the manager smiled and nodded.
“You guys know how Sehun was always down and not so good looking since Luhan left, right?” asked the manager to the other members in the room. Suho nodded and the manager nodded back.
“Well…,” he said looking at the members, Luhan, and Sehun. Then, he continued, “I think…. They should be a couple. I mean, if you two want and the members agree.” he said. All the members looked at Sehun and Luhan surprised. Luhan and Sehun looked at the manager surprised.
“Wait. What? Seriously? Can we date then?” asked a surprised and jealous Baekhyun. The manager looked at Baekhyun and thought, “I guess it wouldn’t be fair that they can’t date and Sehun is.”
“I guess. But! You have to think about the fans and how they would feel. You also have to think about the girl’s safety.” the manager pointed out. The members nodded.
“Uhh….” Baekhyun hesitated to finish his sentence. The manager looked at Baekhyun and Baekhyun continued, “What if it was not a girl we like though?” the manager looked at him and nodded.
“It would still be fine. I get to meet him first though.” the manager answered back. All the member looked at Baekhyun and the manager surprised.
“So, we can all date? Boy or girl?” asked Kai, to confirm. The manager nodded and they all started cheering.
“So, we will go one-by-one and they will tell us who they like. Is that okay?” asked the manager. The members froze.
“All…of..us?” Baekhyun stuttered out. The manager nodded and Baekhyun sat dawn on the ground surprised.
“You don’t have too. I just thought that if you did, I could help you guys get the girl or boy you wanted.” the manager explained. All the members nodded.
“Can we whisper it in your ear and if the person- wait. I’ll give an example. I can’t explain it. Okay, so if Kris whispered in your ear that he likes Tao, Kris just sits back down without you saying who he likes out loud. Then, when it Tao’s turn and he says he likes Kris, you tell them that they like each other. Does that make sense?” asked Baekhyun. The manager nodded as he does understand.
“Can we do that?” asked Suho, agreeing with Baekhyun.
“Yes. You can and Kris and Tao can do the same. If you two would like.” said the manager. The two nodded and looked at each other a little.
“Okay-” the manager started but got caught cut off from the door. He looked surprised and stood up.
“Are you guys expecting anyone?” the manager asked. They nodded ‘no’.
“Of course we weren’t expecting Luhan, Tao, and Kris. So, unless It’s someone in another group, I’m not sure,” replied Suho. The manager nodded and walked to the door. When he opened it, it was Lay.
“Lay?! You’re back already?!” yelled the manager surprised. Lay smiled at the manager and said, “I tried getting a hold of you. But, you didn’t answer. So, I came back anyway.” the manager nodded with an, ‘Ohh… okay.’
“Lay. We have company from China.” said the manager. Lay looked confused and looked behind the manager. He gasped.
“Kris?! Tao?! Luhan?! All of-” Lay yelled. He didn’t get to finish because the manager covered his mouth to keep him from yelling anymore.
“Lay. You’re in the building. Be quiet.” Suho explained. The manager took his hand off Lay’s mouth. Lay nodded and walked into the room.
“Okay, shall we start now?” asked Baekhyun and the manager at the same time. They looked at each other with wide eyes and everyone busted out laughing.
When everyone was settled down from the fit of laughter, they sat down.
“What are we doing?” asked Lay. He looked at everyone in the room and they looked at him back.
“Whisper who you like in the manager’s ear. Boy or girl. Sehun and Luhan are already, I guess, dating each other. Also, if the person likes you back, the manager will tell you. If they’re not in the group, he will go ask the boy or girl.” Baekhyun explained to Lay. Lay nodded and smiled.
“They can also be in the group.” said the manager. Lay looked surprised but nodded anyway.
“Okay. Suho first.” said the manager. Suho nodded and slowly and awkwardly walked to the manager.
“I.. uh… like Lay,” he whispered very quietly and awkwardly. The manager nodded and motioned with his hand he could sit back down
“Next is Chen.” the manager said. Chen nodded and stood up. He walked over to the manager and very quietly whispered, “I like Xiumin.” he then, sat back down.
“Next is Lay.” Lay nodded and stood, looking around the room awkwardly. He walked to the manager and whispered, “I like… uhh… Suho.” the manager nodded and smiled. He stood up, surprising the members, and reached for Suho. He brought the two together and smiled.
“You two…… Congratulations! You like each other!” the manager said happily. Suho and Lay smiled at each other and sat on the other side of the room, still looking at the others. The manager sat back down and Called the next person.
“Xiumin? You’re next.” the manager looked at Xiumin and Xiumin nodded. He stood and walked to the manager.
“I like Chen,” he whispered very quietly. The manager nodded and put on a frown.
“Chen….. Xiumin….. Congratulations!” yelled the manager. Xiumin looked at Chen and Chen looked at Xiumin happily. They then walked and sat down beside Suho and Lay.
“D.O.” said the manager. D.O walked to the manager and whispered, “I like Kai.” he whispered and smiled. The manager nodded and called the next member.
“Baekhyun.” the manager said. Baekhyun walked to the manager.
“I like Chanyeol.” the manager nodded and looked at Baekhyun. Baekhyun walked back to his seat and sat back down.
“Kris? Would you like to?” the manager asked.
“Sure,” replied Kris. Kris walked to the manager and whispered, “I like Tao.” the manager nodded and smiled at him. Kris smiled back and walked back to his seat.
“Kai.” said the manager. Kai stood up and walked to the manager.
“I like Kyungsoo,” Kai whispered and the manager smiled Brightly, again.
“KaiSoo!” yelled the manager. Kai and Kyungsoo looked at each other, then the manager. The manager just smiled. Kai and D.O looked at each other and smiled brightly.
“Also! Since we got a ship name, we might have some from the fans for the others.” Kyungsoo said. Everyone was shocked and D.O smiled.
“Okay! Next is Zitao.” Tao nodded and smiled at the manager.
“You can just call me ‘Tao’. It will be fine.” he said aloud. The manager nodded, smiled, and motioned for Tao to whisper to him.
“I like Kris,” he said where the manager hardly got what he said. The manager nodded and smiled at Tao. He looked at Kris and grabbed his wrist along with Tao’s. He put their hands together and smiled.
“Congratulations. I hope you to will be very happy,” he said, shocking the two. But, they nodded with a smiled anyway. They walked to the other new couples and sat down.
“You two are le-” he didn’t get to finish his sentence as he didn’t have to. He looked at them all and smiled.
“If you guys want to share with the fans, that’s fine. If you don’t, that is also fine. Please be careful.” he said to the EXO members.
“Okay!” they yelled. The manager nodded and went to the door.
“Wait!” yelled Kris and Tao. Making the manager look back surprised.
“Yes?” he asked. The two looked at each other and back at the manager.
“Thank you. Also! We have a question.” said Kris. The manager nodded and smiled.
“We would like to be friends with EXO again. But, we only came to visit and we want to be back in Korea permanently for as long as we can. But, we need a place close to them.” Kris explained. Tao nodded to confirm what he had said. The manager looked at the current members.
“What do you guys think?” he asked them. They all smiled at the manager.
“We would love them to stay!” all the members yelled. The manager was shocked. But, smiled at them and laughed.
“Where would you like them to stay?” he asked the members another question. All the members looked at each other and shrugged.
“I would like them here. But, I doubt that can work.” voiced out Suho. The manager walked into the hallway where all the rooms were and looked through the door of each room, looking to see how much room there is. Then, he came across an empty room with two beds already there. There was also already a dresser and the room was nice and cleaned. He looked around the room confused. But, walked back to the members.
“Why is there an empty room with two beds?” the manager questioned them.
“Oh! Because most of us don’t like sleeping alone and most of us were already sharing a room. So, the two that was in that room once before moved to a room that only had one member. Honestly, it made no sense to me. The two members that were alone could have moved in with each other.” explained Kai. The manager nodded slowly, clearly confused.
“Well, you guys could let Luhan, Kris, and Tao stay in that room.” the manager said. Sehun looked at the manager and nodded ‘no’.
“He will stay in the room with me. I mean, I’m actually still the only one that has a room by their self still.” Sehun said to the manager.
“Okay. So, Kris and Tao can move into the empty room and Luhan can move into Sehun’s room. That okay?” he questioned to confirm what he is saying. Sehun nodded along with the rest of the members. The manager nodded and smiled.
“Okay. You three can move in whenever you would like.” the manager said. The three nodded.
“Uh. Can they go on the stage with us when we perform? If they want to anyway.” asked a curious Sehun. The manager didn’t answer for a while.
“If they would like to, I guess. It’s up to you guys answer well.” the manager voiced out. They all nodded and smiled except for Luhan, Kris, and Tao.
“Well….. we have a stage tomorrow. Would you three like to go? You can just sit on a chair on the stage. You can also try and dance to the song if you would like.” explained Suho. The tree looked at each other and nodded.
“Sure,” Kris answered while shrugging his shoulders. They all nodded and the manager decided it was time for him to leave so the members can get some rest.
“Bye!” they all yelled at the same time. The manager nodded and smiled.
“Bye. Get all good night’s rest. All of you.” he strictly said. They all nodded and stood up.
“I’m going to go ahead and go lay down. Love y’all.” said Xiumin.
“Alright, Min. Good night. Love ya too man.” said Chanyeol. They all nodded and smiled.
“I guess us three I’ll get going,” said Tao. They all smiled. But, most nodded ‘no’ while smiling. (Not in a weird way either.)
“Why are you guys shaking your head no?” questioned Luhan.
“You guys are going to move in sometime tomorrow and we all miss you guys. So, you all will stay here starting tonight,” explained Suho. They all three nodded and smiled. All the members have already considered all three of them family again.
“We were always one. No matter where you guys were or are.” Suho voiced out. They all smiled and walked closer to the hallway.
“Goodnight to all in this room. We are going to bed,” said Baekhyun, pointing at himself and Chanyeol. They all nodded.
“Let’s go to bed,” Suho said, pushing people toward their rooms, nicely.
“This is you guys’ room. Have a good night, Kris and Tao,” said Suho.
“Thank you.” they both replied at the same time. Suho smiled and bowed. Kris and Tao bowed back and Suho walked away with a smiled. Tao and Kris watched Suho walked into a room before going into their new room. They smiled at each other and everyone in the dorm went to sleep. Everything in the dorm was silent except for the tick of a clock here and there.
*Time skip?*
At the concert, the fans were surprised, happy, sad, and angry. They all had mixed emotions about the three coming back unexpectedly. But, they all accepted Kris, Tao, and Luhan back. Kris and Tao made their relationship public at the concert too. All the other members wanted to too. But, they also know that being gay in Korea is not a good thing. Kris and Tao didn’t care though.
Kai looked at Kyungsoo and Kyungsoo looked back at him, smiling. Kai reached over and whispered in Kyungsoo’s ear, “You want to tell them?” Kyungsoo looked at the crowd and then back to Kai. He slowly nodded. Kai nodded back and smiled, taking Kyungsoo’s hand. EXO-L’s went crazy over that. They both smiled looking at the crowd.
“KaiSoo is real!!!” they both yelled into the mic. The crowd went wild, chanting KaiSoo.
“ChanBaek is real!!!!” Chanyeol and Baekhyun yelled as well. Then, the rest followed.
“XiuChen is real!!!!!”
“SuLay is also real!!!!!”
“HunHan is real!!!!!”
After 4 years, they were all still together. Traveling together, doing almost everything they did when Kris, Tao, and Luhan were in the group. To them and the fans, they were in the group again. It felt as if nothing happened between them. Also, they all had already been engaged in the 3rd year. (At different times.) Then, in the 4th year, they all got married at different times. Everyone was happy. Everything was perfect for them. They’re still idols. All the EXO members’ contracts ran out. But, they all renewed them and made songs with the other three again. They could choose what they wanted to sing, any style. The company didn’t really do much but help them when they needed it. Everyone in SM was also happy for EXO, no matter their sexuality. They were all happy.
