“Wanna third wheel today?” I heard makayla say over the phone. I had just gotten done tending to my garden, which was luckily flourishing, and didnt really have anything to do. “Sure, what are yall doing today?” I asked as I put my phone on speaker and threw on my nightstand, looking into my closet. “Were going hiking.” I heard the phone speak to me loud and clear, which finally gave me an excuse to use my baby green overalls.
“Alright, be there in thirty.” I said as I heard a faint seeya and the end call beep. I pulled the overalls out of the closet and a white t-shirt with a flower over the heart. I threw them on along with some huge work boots and hopped on my skateboard. I quickly skated over to her house, where there was a new car, probably tony’s, in the driveway.
I walked into the doorway and shouted hey to show I was inside of the house, and walk into the living room, where I find both of them in opposite sides of the room, on there phones. “God, get a room, am I right?” I said teasing makayla as I flopped down in her lap. “But seriously, you guys are so boring. Why cant I walk into yall having like an epic makeout session?”
I got up from her and helped her pack us a lunch in the kitchen. “He’s becoming distant and I dont know why.” she said making a PB and J, as I remembered what happened on my birthday. “What have you two done offically? Not as in the dirty, just like dates and talking.” I asked her, trying to figure through the situation. “We’ve been on a few dates, but thats about all we’ve done.” she said, throwing all of her food she made in a basket. “Hike time?” I asked her like a little kid. “Hike time.” she said, and I whooped like a little kid as I ran to the car.
They both followed behind as I threw the bags in Tony’s truck. “Why are you so hype about a hike?” Tony asked as he threw himself in the drivers seat. “I dont know, im bored and I love nature, does that count as a reason?” I said as I climbed in the backseat and the car came to life and we pulled out of the driveway.
It bothered me how distant they were with each other. They didnt talk, didnt flirt, didnt do anything except for hold eachothers hand. It was kinda awkward before Makayla turned on the radio. I was dancing in the back as the song Top Off was playing, and caught Tony staring at me, which made me blush in embaressment and stopped. He just chuckled and went back to driving.
When we finally turned onto a small turnoff inti the road with a tollbooth, I jumped around in excitement. Tony gave him money, and I told him that id pay him back. We got to a spot to park and I jumped out and grabbed my bag, taking a long breathe to get the stale air out of my lungs.
“Heh, you really seem to like the outdoors.” Tony said as Makayla got their bags out and handed one to him. “Yeah, I do. I really do love living in the city, but the woods is where everybody originated from. Its like visiting the past.” I said happily. It really was my favorite place, I didnt worry about my weight or how I looked. It was total peace.
“So this map should lead us to red river falls.” Makayla said. I didnt need a map, I’d been on this trail at least twenty times, so I led them into the woods.

“Thank god a restroom! I gotta go so bad!” Makayla said as she ran up to the restroom. “Same.” I spoke after her, and walked into the bathroom. It had graffiti and scars all over the wall, which was kinda rude. I walked into a stall and heard the door open, which mustve been tony. I quickly go and walk out of the stall to-

Im now pinned up against the wall by tony. “What the fu-” I barely get out as I feel smashed lips on me. I try to push him off, but his big arms pick me up off of the ground before I can. I feel his thing grind up on me and he smashes me up against the wall. He finally lets me a little loose and leans in to give me hickies on my neck before whispering to not tell her in my ear, drop me to the floor, and walk away.
I slowly cleaned myself up and tried to forget the incident. Why is he doing this?! Why did he do that?! I sat outside beside him, trying to hold a normal look as he wrapped his arm around me. “Thank god there was a bathroom! Awww, yall look adorable!” she said as she walked up. We picked up our bag and went back to walking to our trek.

“Its so beautiful!” she tried to say over the rushing of the falls. She laid down a big quilt and the bags as I unhooked my overalls to take off my shirt. “Do you plan on swimming?” Tony said as I rehooked my overalls, “Of course!” I said. The waterfall was over 100 foot tall, but it had stairs engraved into it so you could jump and go into a cave behind the waterfall.
Next thing I know im standing fifty feet on a cliff over freezing cold water. “BE CAREFUL! DONT DIE!” makayla sreamed from the top of her lungs, which sounded like a whisper to the falls. I back up and jump into the water, quickly jumping back from the icewater. “Ohmylorditssocold!” I shrilled in shock as I crawled out of the spring, getting laughed at by Tony and Makayla. “Dumbass.” Tony chuckled, “fuck off.” I said as I tried to stand up but almost fell again, but he caught me.
I slowly walked over to the quilt and sat down to heat myself up in the sun as they had a little conversation, which gave me time to think. What is happening with Tony, and why is he doing this? Does he like me, Does he find me hot, what does he want from me? These questions ran around in my head for the rest of the time.

We were back in the truck, its around 9:30, and im tired as fuck. Makayla is asleep with music blaring from her earbuds, I’m going through my insta feed and and looking through my comment on my concerts, And Tony driving. I’m so exhausted and on the verge of passing out, but im not letting us crash because of somebody drowsy driving.
Out of nowhere, I see Tony wave his hand in front of Makayla’s face. “Ok look, im sorry for what I did back there, but I really wanna fuck you. Like, more than I should. And I want it to go away, but I dont think it will until I can actually do it. So you wanna fuck?”
I was shocked by that. Mostly shocked by how casually he asked it sitting by his girlfriend. “No way! I cant do that, she’s my bestfriend! And by the way, you had a chance, why didnt you fuck when I wanted to fuck you?!” I whisper yelled. “I dont know, didnt like you as much. Thats kinda why I wanna do it on the down low, bacause I think itll go away.” he said, turning into the driveway. “So you wanna bounce on this?” I grabbed my bag and skateboard out of the garage and spoke one word when I looked back at him.
“Nope”
