OMG, this could be taken as hybrids or furries… Take your pick and hold on for the ride. (And yes I totally made this a play on a certain quote from a certain story only I messed it up with my crazy brain) Sorry not sorry :O
Mr. Leonard
He was a classy piece of work, I had to give him that. Tall and thin, he made the most of his looks with a crisp black suit and stark white linen. It made his black face and white hair stand out that much more in the office. Not sure how he managed to keep that cloud of white so clean on top of his head in such a dingy city. He was the most immaculate sheep I had ever seen, and the fiercest too.
The title Manager of Accounting meant he wasn’t afraid to hunt you down if your numbers were wrong. People would have listened with or without the twisted set of horns that framed his handsome face. He was coldly beautiful and sharply condescending at times, which made my gut twist in an emotion somewhere between respect and hatred.
Like right now as he stood in front of my desk peering down at me over his clipboard. “Mr. Leonard, this is the fourth time this week your sales team has sent contracts with miscalculations down to my people. I really think you need to have a chat with them. We can provide calculators to anyone who needs them if it’s about mathematics” He didn’t sound condescending now and his face was blank, making it hard to take his words as anything but a bold inquiry.
“I don’t think that’s the case but I will be sure to speak to them. I apologise for the inconvenience, Mr. Stone.” I stood from my seat, taller than him by a head and probably twice as broad. He stepped back, probably unconsciously, and hesitated when I stuck my tan hand out to shake. He took it awkwardly and I smiled. He didn’t meet my eyes and pulled away quickly with a clearing of the throat. A big cat like me must make him nervous.
“Not a problem. It’s my job.” He said simply before leaving. I frowned at the sheaf of papers now back on my desk and collected them in my hands to inform the salespeople they would have to resubmit. A familiar name was in the pile and I sighed heavily. I headed there first to get it over with. Mr. Wolfe was furiously scribbling on his notepad, a studious frown set on his face. I cleared my throat and stood back as he nearly leapt from his seat in an effort to attend me.
“Mr. Leonard! Hi. Er, what can I do for you?” His big brown eyes looked at me eagerly and I smiled kindly before reprimanding him. He really did try so hard, it made me feel bad when I had to correct him.
“Good afternoon Mr. Wolfe. I’m afraid there was an adding error on your documents for accounting again. Try to remember what I said, it’s not about speed here, it’s about accuracy so we don’t hold up other departments. Which then makes us faster.” I watched his ears droop slightly at the scolding. I patted his back and left it at that.
“Yes, Mr. Leonard, I will try to check more carefully next time.” He replied sadly.
“I know you will.” I said before moving on to the next salesperson. He would be far harder on himself than I was just now, I had overheard him one time in the restroom giving himself a scolding in the mirror. I stopped at Mrs. Hensworth’s desk and handed her two sheets back while she sent me a sheepish look. I gave her a sterner lecture since she had been in the department for four more years than Mr. Wolfe.
By the time I was done with my salespeople, and had gotten through the stack that had piled up on my desk while I was out, it was getting quite late in the afternoon. I watched through my open door as the sales cubicles began to slowly empty. Ms. O’Hare waved as she walked past, swishing her long ear over her shoulder seductively but I ignored it. She asked me out for coffee once early on and I had politely declined since I was undeniably gay.
My head roused at a knock on the door, surprising me since it was open. A pair of brown eyes looked hesitantly inside, followed by a blue shirt, navy tie and slacks. I watched him come in and close the door more behind him, then grabbing the end of his tail nervously as he stood before my desk. I wanted to wince at the way he pulled at the grey hairs.
“Um, I-I-I am sorry if this seems a little… uh, forward? Ms. O’Hare was gossiping in the coffee room at break and I couldn’t help but overhear her. She thinks… that is, assumes because you refused her… which is pretty self centered if you ask me, er or presumptuous? Of her, I mean… uh, and I thought maybe if you were actually… that maybe y-you’d consider…” His face flushed and his eyes darted around as his voice faded in and out. I was having a hard time following his train of thought with my head still wrapped around work. I tried to stay friendly though as I prodded him along.
“What is it Mr. Wolfe? I can’t read your mind and I’m having trouble following you.” I smiled to lessen any sting from my words. His eyes snapped to mine in resolve.
“Wouldyouconsidergoingoutwithme?” The words flew out so fast and mushed together, we stared at each other in shock. Him probably for getting it out and myself as I translated and digested it.
“Ah. In answer to your question earlier that you didn’t quite manage to get out, yes I am gay. Unfortunately, I do not believe that we would be a good match. You are very handsome, hardworking, and kind; however, I think you are looking for someone who will praise and punish you outside of work too and that is not who I am outside the office. I am very sorry to disappoint you, Scotty.” I did my best to let him down gently. I felt badly that his misconceptions about me led us to this, but at the same time was relieved to have that explained and out of the way.
“Oh! Yes, you are quite right. I enjoy having you as a boss and I guess I just assumed… it was my mistake.” He smiled happily and let go of his tail. After combing his hair back and thanking me, he turned and left my office. As he reached the hallway I heard him say, “Oh hey Mr. Stone! Have a good night!”
*back track, switch point of view*
Mr. Stone
Predators could be such a pain in the ass. I remembered the first time I had met Mr. Leonard at the office, during orientation with Animal Resources. He was a huge male, with an incredible mane of golden hair and bright yellow eyes that drew many people in to love him. Probably why he was in sales in the first place. He had stuck out a tan hand that time too and shook my hand firmly with a smile. “I hope you aren’t too timid for this job, the sales managers can be a handful at times.”
“Not at all. Just like you aren’t too lazy letting your team do all the work so you can benefit from the spoils?” I had replied. The both of them had looked at me in surprise and the lion had laughed heartily.
“Sorry Mr. Leonard…” My manager had started saying but he was cut off.
“No, no, I brought that on myself. Serves me right for assuming based on species.” He had been nothing but proper and respectful since then. Nothing short of friendly really, which confused me to no end considering the exasperated attitude most of the other managers seemed to regard me with.
Like just now, being so agreeable and handling his people firmly regarding the financial papers sent to my department. He never complained about me coming to see him, and he never got angry or took my words the wrong way. He knew exactly what I meant at the time. It was… refreshing? Surprising? I wasn’t sure. I know it set my teeth on edge when he would tower over me or shake my hand. He unsettled me.
I wandered back into his area at the end of the day, telling myself it was to check on the paperwork but really not sure what drew me. When I got close to the mostly-closed door I probably should have turned around and walked back the way I had come from. The murmuring voices inside held me transfixed, not quite loud enough to hear well but loud enough to pick up words here and there.
Something about refusing O’Hare and gossip… did someone just ask him out? That was a male voice… there, it’s him saying he’s gay! I felt the blood rush out of my face at my sudden realisation. I wanted to smash the guy asking him first to smithereens. Yep, I was undoubtedly gay for the cat and jealous as hell! Crap, I wasn’t paying attention to hear the response. Just then, a wolf left the office and greeted me on the way past with a grin. Dammit. I was so busted. The wolf looked happy so it wasn’t a good sign.
“Mr. Stone? Come on in.” Mr. Leonard was at the open door looking a little surprised to see me. He was hesitant as I came in the door, closing it firmly behind me. I kept my face neutral, trying not to betray the furiousness lurking in my chest. He was avoiding my eyes though, and for such a direct beast it felt unnatural.
“I just came by to see if those documents were done yet, I figured I could start on them first thing in the morning if you had them ready now.” I said quietly. He sat heavily on his chair and sighed, grabbing a few sheaves of paper from a folder on his right, all paper-clipped neatly together with my name on a sticky note front and center.
“There are still a couple more to come, but this is most of them. Sorry again for my staff, I have spoken to them all and taken a look at this lot before I approved it to go to you. I had hoped I wouldn’t have to look over my senior salesperson’s work by now, but I suppose it doesn’t hurt to spot check them to keep them on their toes.” He handed the stack to me, but I took a moment before grabbing them to draw his gaze to mine. One his eyes were on mine, I dared him to look away.
“Thank you. Am I to understand congratulations are in order?” I hedged around outright asking him if he and the wolf were now dating but I wanted him to know that I did overhear some of the conversation. He blushed, turning his tan a ruddy colour that made him look very cute.
“What? Ah, no. I turned Scotty down actually. He isn’t really my type.” I tilted my head curiously, as he blinked and tried not to look away in embarrassment.
“He isn’t? What, if I may ask, is your type?” I licked my lips as his gaze finally dropped from mine to whizz around the room in panic and probably confusion. He did not seem to notice when I put the papers back on his desk and came around the side to stand next to him. I waited for his eyes to dart back to me, leaning in as they widened.
“M-m-my type? Ah, it’s kind of…” He swallowed as I leaned over with a raised brow to place my hand on the armrest and listen closely. He took a shaky breath and tried to continue with a much lower tone, “it might be more along the lines of… someone strong, tall, sophisticated, and… maybe a little blunt.” I grinned at the description. My eyes flicked to his lips, and then I moved within an inch of his face.
“Hmm, can you think of anyone like that in this office, Mr. Leonard? Because that description sounds an awful lot like…” I wasn’t able to finish my sentence as his lips moved forward to catch mine. I let him brush against my mouth in soft gentle strokes a few times. Then I took control and devoured his mouth with mine. I grasped his thick hair in my hand and tugged back to open his lips for my tongue.
His deep moan was like fuel to my new found fire. His hands clutched at my clothing as I nipped and sucked at his reddening lips. I kneeled on his lap, crushing a growing bulge in his pants with the pressure of my knee against the fabric. I could feel the purring starting in his throat as I rubbed my knee against the side of his bulge and grinned as I bit his bottom lip hard. I tasted a slight metallic and watched his eyes shoot open in narrow slits at the taste of blood.
“I won’t be gentle, Tyler Leonard. I am not a meek little sheep who will lay down and be your prey, I am an aspiring predator who wants to dominate the king of beasts and make him my slave.” I heard his breath hitch at my words and he panted as I stroked his bulge with my knee again, not being kind or gentle with his most sensitive of parts.
“I don’t want you to be gentle. I would love to be your prey. Say the word and I am your slave.” He breathed to me. I grinned and tore at his clothes, kneading the firm muscles beneath my hands as he arched in his seat. I wanted him right now, purring and quivering beneath me in ecstasy. I couldn’t wait for quaint first dates or the comfort of our homes. I nipped at his neck and shoulder as I pulled him from his chair and flung his papers from his desk into a heap on the floor.
He gasped as I bent him over, scratching my nails down his back as I tore his shirt and jacket from his shoulders. They were flung away without a thought as I worked open his pants, grinning at the pink boxer briefs beneath before pushing them to the floor to join the rest of his clothes. I grabbed at his round globes, massaging the thick muscles and nipping at his buttocks. I ran my nose down his crack and then my tongue up through as he trembled beneath me.
I grabbed his tail and plunged two fingers inside him as he panted over his desk. I heard his nails dig into the wood as I prodded inside, finding the nub of nerves that would drive him insane. The yeowling cat laid out before me was more than I could take, so I gave in and took out my meat to abuse his waiting hole. As I shoved it in, he gasped loudly and tore another strip into the wood. I didn’t wait, instead pounding immediately into my willing slave.
“Mine. My slave. My boyfriend. You belong to me.” I growled into his ear as he whimpered and took my seed. I felt his insides clench and he soiled the floor with his own juices. I pet him, and told him to clean up our mess and then join me in my office so we could go home. He nodded, purring so loudly I could almost feel it in the air. I sighed in satisfaction, did up my pants, leaned over to grab a sheaf of papers from the floor and left to await my new partner.
