A/N So this one I wrote ages ago, but I decided to post it anyway

~Niall’s POV~
I helped Toby to get his shoes and jacket on.
“It’s cold outside” I said and smiled at him.
“I’m a big boy, so I’m not freezing” he said proudly. I put the Spider-man hat on his head.
“Even big boys are freezing sometimes” I said and stood up again. I got my jacket and my car-keys.
“You got Buzz?” I asked him. Toby nodded and showed me the action figure. He never left it anywhere. It was kind of cute that he was obsessed with Toy Story, just like Liam. I opened the door and let Toby walk outside. I took the drawing he made for Liam and locked the door behind me. I helped Toby get into the car and placed his drawing next to him. I sat down in the driver’s seat.
“Daddy?” Toby said. I turned around to look at him.
“Yeah?” I said.
“Can we listen to the new CD?” he asked. I smiled. I started the car and the music started playing. On the whole ride to the hospital Toby looked out the window while talking to Buzz about how daddy Liam is hurt and that they would save him. I smiled widely to myself.
I helped Toby get out of the car and took his hand.
“You must hold my hand all the time and don’t lat go” I said “If you let go of me I have to carry you”
His head shot up. He hated being carried. I started to walk through the corridors wiyh Toby’s drawing in one hand and the other one holding his hand tightly.
“We’re going to take daddy Liam out of here and fly with him to wherever he want” Toby said to Buzz. The people we walked past smiled at us. I smiled back, feeling proud of calling Toby my son. As we got to the part of the hospital where Liam was, Toby sped up. We walked to the reception.
“Hello, you two. Who are you going to visit today?” she asked, looking over the desk at Toby. He looked up at her.
“We’re here to meet daddy Liam” Toby said and smiled.
“I’m sure he will get happy to see you” she said and then looked at me “Last name?”
“Payne Horan” I said. She searched through the computer.
“Room 4, just go inside” she said and smiled. I thanked her and grabbed Toby’s hand. I opened the door and saw Liam sitting on a bed. A smile appeared when he saw us. Toby ran towards him with a smile.
“Daddy Liam! Me and Buzz will get you out of here!” he said and Liam lifted him up on the bed. Luckily he didn’t start to scream. I closed the door behind me and walked over to a chair next to the bed.
“What did the doctor say?” I asked.
“A broken ankle. I can go home tomorrow if I rest” he said.
“Daddy Liam I made you something in school today” Toby said. I gave Toby the drawing who passed it on toLiam. Liam looked down at the drawing and smiled. Toba made a drawing of the whole family including Buzz.
“It’s wonderful” Liam said “Give me a hug”
Toby smiled and hugged him tightly. Liam opened one arm for me to join the hug. I stood up and hugged them both. After some time we let go of eachother. Liam grabbed my hand and Toby started playing with Buzz again.
“What did we ever do to deserve him?” I asked and looked over at Toby.
“I have no idea, but I’m glad that you were the donor” he said.
“Otherwise Toby wouldn’t be here now” I said and looked proudly at him. I can’t believe I’m part of why he exists.
“When do you think we should tell him?” Liam asked.
“Maybe when you’re coming home tomorrow…” I said.
“I wonder how he’s going to take it” he said thoughtfully.
“I think he’s going to get happy and talk about it in school” I said and smiled.
~The next day~
I helped Liam out of the car and gave him the crutches. Toby ran past both of us and started jumping. I smiled as I locked the car and walked towards the house. I unlocked the door and let Toby run inside. I helped Liam to get through the door. He turned around to face me. I smiled at him and walked closer. I kissed him softly.
“I love you” he said and smiled.
“I love you too” I answered.
“Toby come here” I said with a large smile platered on my face. He sat down in the large armchair and looked at us. I looked at Liam and took a deep breath.
“Toby you’re going to become a big brother” I said. Toby looked confused.
“We’re going to have a baby” Liam explained “You will get a brother or sister”
Toby just looked at us for a moment before he started jumping up and down in the armchair.
“I’m a big brother” he said happily “I’m a big boy now”
He suddenly stopped jumping.
“I have to tell Buzz” he said and ran towards his room. I looked after him.
“He seems happy” I said. Liam laughed. Ten years ago I would never had said that this was where I saw myself today. I saw myself with a wife and a child, in a big house. I didn’t even know I was gay ten years ago. Even less that I was going to fall in love with such an amazing person. I guess I have everything I want for now.
