The sun shone brightly, it’s warmth filling the whole palace garden. The rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds could be heard as the soft breeze carried the scent of flowers around the place.
A figure, dressed in pink hanbok stood between the garden, barefoot moving along with the imaginary music. His eyes were closed, his body moved gracefully as he twirled, jumped and spun across the open space, his milky white skin glowed under the golden sunlight, his black hair danced in the wind along with his movements. The pink and white traditional clothes give him an angelic look as he danced without any care of the world.
It was was beautiful, ethereal. Even a heartless person would fell in love with him, just at first sight.
Six pair of eyes watched his every move, standing a little away from the dancing figure. The figure didn’t seem to notice them, as he was so immersed in his steps.
They stood there, watching him, with silent awe in their eyes, as if they were captivated by his every move. Their gazes weren’t just observing, they were admiring, maybe even something deeper than that.
With a final turn, the dancing figure plopped down on the grass elegantly, breathing heavily, his chest rising and falling. It was magnificent, the way he can even end it this much gracefully.
As if feeling eyes on him, the man in pink looked around.
His eyes locked with six figures standing a little away from him, watching his every move. His cheeks heated up, realising they were watching him dancing.
Even though he was new at the palace, he know them. Everyone knows them in the palace. Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook. The six of them were the well known dancers in the palace, each of them charming in their own way. They are also known for their unconditional love for each other, a relationship he had never heard of, but was beautiful and inspiring.
He was here to join them, the six famous royal dancers.
He stood up from the grass and bowed nineteen degree in respect. “Good morning.”
They all did the same, with a small smile on their face. “You are the new dancer, right?” Namjoon asked.
He nodded. “I am Park Jaemin, Sir.” He smiled at them, his slightly crooked teeth making him look adorable.
“Don’t need to be formal. You are younger than us, you can call us by hyungnim.” Seokjin assured. “I am Kim Seokjin.” He introduced himself.
They all did the same. Even though he know them, he didn’t stop them from introducing themselves.
“We will call you ‘Jaeminie’.” Taehyung said wrapping an arm around his shoulder and showing off his boxy smile to him. That time his heart skipped a beat with excitement.
And from that day he felt an unspoken connection with them and vice versa. Love at first sight, poets would say.
The beep of alarm woke up Jimin from his dreamland. Rubbing his tired eyes he sat up, his face puffy and hair disheveled. He only got around three or so hours sleep, but he can’t sleep more because of the shooting.
After folding the blanket and tidying up the bed, Jimin went to the bathroom for his morning routine.
Standing under the shower as water slide down his smooth skin, he thought about the dream he had.
He doesn’t remember it clearly. But the six people in his dream has a clear face now, it was them, the men trapped in the mirror.
And he also saw the face of the seventh person. The man who barely appeared in his dreams. It was he himself, or he say his look alike. Even though the facial features are exactly same, he had long black hair, styled just like the men in the mirror. And he was also dressed in hanbok.
Jimin remembered him calling himself Jaemin, Park Jaemin. He definitely looks like him, maybe that’s why the men in the mirror called him by that name.
But still, a lot of questions raise in his mind. How did they trapped in the mirror? Why is he dreaming of them? And why does he looks like the seventh one of them?
To get answers to those questions, he have to visit them again. Only they can give the answers.
By the time he got ready, Bora was there, leading him to breakfast table.
Jimin can see, Bora is isn’t in a good mood. He also know the reason. he didn’t inform her last night while going out. She still don’t know, he never left the palace, just went to upstairs. But he can’t tell the truth too.
She has always been protective of him. Of course it’s the part of her job. But more than that, she sees him as her younger brother. So she wants to protect him.
A smile made it’s way to Jimin’s lips as he poked Bora on her arms and she glared back at him. “Are you mad, noona?” He asked with a pout.
“No.” Bora said without any emotion visible on her face.
“You are.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
“No.”
“No.”
“Yes.” Her eyes widened, as soon as the word left her lips. Jimin giggled at the sight.
“I am sorry.” Jimin whined a little. “You can scold me if you want.” He pouted.
Bora is the only person, he can act spoiled. As an eldest child, he can’t even act like this with his parents. Parents will always be strict to the first born. And the way Jihyun is spoiled now, Jimin sometimes think they might have adopted him before Jihyun born.
But Bora loves him like a little brother. And she have been with him since the starting of his career, about five years. Even though he was a little timid with her at first, they got along well. Even now, she is the only person he can call his only friend.
“Why would I scold you? Even if I did, you will do it again.” She said impassively.
“I won’t. Why are you so mean?” The pout on his lips deepened.
“I am mean? Do you understand the situation Park Jimin?” Bora barely call him by his full name. She only does when she is angry. “Going out at night, at an unknown place, without any guard is really dangerous. Especially for a famous idol like you. What will you do if you run in to a sasaeng? Or some randome robbers?” She said angrily.
“But I didn’t go that far, I was just in the garden.” His pout deepened.
“Whatever.” Bora rolled her eyes. “Don’t do that again.”
“Okay.” He smiled at her, knowing she can’t resist his eyes smile.
Her lips twitched up in to a small smile, before she cover it up and walked away and Jimin went to the dressing room to get ready for shooting.
As per the instruction, now they have to turn in to group of two.
Jimin found himself with Yejun, who was smiling down at him. Out of his peripheral view he also saw Lina looks at him with a frown.
Jimin wondered what’s her problem with him, that she is always so rude to him. But he don’t care anyway.
As Jimin and Yejun passed the stairs, Jimin’s thought again went back to the dance room in the second floor and the six men in the mirror.
There are a lot of questions bugging him. And only they have the answers for it. To know them he have to sneak in to that room again today. He made plans in his mind to sneak out of the room at midnight.
Jimin was lost in his own thoughts, he didn’t realize where he is going, until got bumped in to something strong and fall over holding on to the person in front if him.
When he opened his eyes, he was on top of Yejun, the older male holding on to him, as if to protect him.
Jimin looked up at the man, a light blush adorning his cheeks as his idol stared at him closely.
“I am sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going.” Jimin apologised, standing up patting his pants.
“It’s okay. I am sorry too.” Yejun smiled sweetly at him.
Jimin know, even if they wouldn’t broadcast him and Lina quarreling in the first day, they will definitely gonna use this clip of him and Yejun falling to spice up the views.
His fans, who already know about his admiration towards Yejun, are definitely gonna ship them hard if they see this footage. But there is nothing Jimin can do about it. These all are the part of being idol.
“Are you okay?” Yejun asked with concern.
Jimin nodded quickly. “What about you?”
“I am more than okay.” The older male patted his back in affection. “Let’s continue the game.” With that he walked away to complete his own individual mission, following by his cameraman.
With a nod, Jimin also turned away, only to lock his eyes with the woman’s face who was standing there with glaring eyes.
Lina looked at him with so much hatred as if he had stolen something precious to her.
When Jimin thought about it, maybe he did. Jimin is not stupid. He had seen the way Lina looked at Yejun. And the older male never glanced at her. Maybe, she was jealous because of the way Jimin is close to Yejun.
Finally, Jimin found the reason of his rival’s hate towards him. Jimin smirked thinking about her face. Even though, he doesn’t have any romantic feelings towards the man, it’s funny to see Lina’s jealous face. Finally he got to know the reason of her problem with him.
Jimin giggled to himself, making his cameraman to look at him with wide eyes. If this part don’t cut out, it will definitely look like he is giggling because of Yejun. But Jimin doesn’t care anyway. Fan service is the part of his career after all.
