“I wish to be a dancer…”
“I am park Jaemin…”
“We will call you Jaeminie…”
“We love you…”
“Do you love us…”
“I do…”
“I love you…”
“We love you…”
“Come here and take this…”
“Her Majesty has send you sweets…”
“What is this mark on your wrist…”
“I accidentally burned…”
“His Majesty summons you…”
“I want to marry you…”
“I’m already in a relationship…”
“They’re just mere dancers, we can get rid of them…”
“The south part of the palace caught fire…”
“Pull them towards the mirror and tie them…”
“I’m sorry…”
“There is no cure for this curse…”
“I would not hesitate to us it, stay away…”
“I- I am sorry…”
“JAEMINIE…”
“NOOO…”
Jimin jolted upright, his heart beating fast inside his ribcage. His whole body was drenched in his own sweat, and the pyjama top cling to upper body, and breath came out as ragged and broken.
The room was dark, and eerily silent. Jimin fisted the mattress to stop himself from trembling violently, only to shake more as he relive the nightmare.
But it wasn’t really a nightmare. He knows that. It was his past life. The life he saw only in blurry dreams and, only heard from his lovers. It was the life he lived and suffered, and the life he partly forgot about.
And… Now he remembers, he remembers it all, everything from his previous life. From how he decided to learn dance, how he got invited for being a palace dancer, how he fell in love with six fellow dancers, how the king had forced him for marriage, how the queen poisoned him and tortured him, how his lovers got trapped in the mirror and to how he took his own life.
For Jimin everything feels unreal, as if it’s a fantasy Wattpad fiction.
But he knows it is real. But he also knows that, it was in the past. Nothing is happening to him right now. He is safe and well. Maybe a little bit exhausted, not only physically, but also mentally.
But again, he has always been like that. Tired everyday, and he knew it was not because of practice or sleepless schedules. Even in his free days, he was always exhausted.
The six men’s presence was which got him out of that rabbit hole. For the first time he was happy when he met them. It was a different feeling for him, it felt as if they were his home. And it is, they were his everything. His whole world.
Jimin took a deep breath, just the thought of them calmed him down.
Suddenly a sound startled Jimin out of his thoughts. His eyes widened and heart rate picked up. The events happened in past days flashed in front of his eyes. Sweat beads appeared on his eyebrows, just by the thought of it.
Another sound heard again, now more clear than previous one. Jimin frowned.
A snore?
Jimin frowned.
Who is even snoring in his room?
With his wide eyes Jimin leaned in to the edge of the bed and looked down.
The sight made him open his mouth in surprise.
The six people he fell in love with was laying there, on a big mattress, snoring and cuddling each other.
Jimin clutched on his blanket, trying to calm himself from the almost panic attack he got.
A smile spread across his face. Everything feels like dejavu. It was just like how they were when he was in coma after Yejun’s death.
His heart swelled with content, when he saw his lovers, his world, his everything in front of him.
Jimin quietly slipped from the bed, moving closer to the mattresses. He slowly sat beside them cross legged, observing them while trying not to interrupt their sleep, yet.
The way they were sleeping was so funny.
Seokjin and Jungkook were cuddling together in one corner, and the younger had his feets on Hoseok’s knee, and the said male was sleeping with his body twisted like a rope with hands on one side, and feet other. Beside him was Yoongi, who was like a shrimp, curling into himself with Hoseok’s hand laying on his face. Next to him was Namjoon, who had head out of the mattress and feet on Yoongi and Hoseok. The most funny was Taehyung, who were laying on all of them across the mattress with his head buried in Seokjin and Jungkook’s belly.
It was a funny sight for sure. A chuckle escaped his lips, despite the silent ache inside his chest.
“I love you all.” Jimin whispered softly.
Even though it was barely a whisper, Seokjin who was beside him stirred, then fluttered open his eyes. His sleepy eyes widened when they land in Jimin.
“Jiminie!” The older called trying to sit up immediately, removing Jungkook’s hand from his waist.
That’s all it take for others to wake up one by one, sleep vanishing as soon as their eyes landed on Jimin beside them. Their groggy voices overlapped, as their face filled with concern.
“Are you okay?”
“Jiminie?”
“How are you feeling?”
“You okay?”
“Are you hurt?”
“Did you have a nightmare?”
Jimin gave a small smile and shook his head. “No, It wasn’t a nightmare. It was memories… From past life.”
That got their attention. Every trace of sleepiness vanished from their eyes. They all sat up, forming a half circle around him.
But they didn’t speak a word, letting Jimin continue. But excitement was clear in those eyes.
So Jimin continued. “I remember everything. Everything from my past life, from our life, from being Jaemin, from falling in love with you all, and… From being separated from you.”
Tears welled up in all of their eyes. Memories of past flashed in front of their eyes. From their sweet moments to heartbreaking separation.
“You remember everything now.” Jungkook mumbled.
“I do. I am sorry I worried you, and didn’t give a positive reply to your confession. I know I am a bad perso-”
Taehyung’s finger pressed aginst Jimin’s lips, before he could continue. “Don’t say that Jiminie. You are the kindest person I have ever seen.”
Jimin stared in to the older male’s eyes. It was genuine. He meant the words he said. And Jimin was happy to hear that.
With a nod Jimin hold Taehyung’s hand in his. “Please let me finish.” His voice was soft, and Taehyung nodded, so does the others.
“I was scared. I was scared that, I will never be enough for you. In this life, I am different. A completely different person from Jaemin. The past me and new me doesn’t have anything similar, except our faces. And I was scared that you will get tired of me. You will hate me once you get close to me. I didn’t want you all to hate me. I can’t handle that. I will die if that happens. I love you so much to lose you, to hated by you. I love you…”
That’s all it take for Jimin to burst out in to tears.
“Jiminie…” Hoseok was the first one to reach out to him, grabbing his arms and pulling him in to a tight hug. He patted the smaller’s back. “It’s okay, it’s okay. We love you too.”
Jimin cried in to his chest, as they all reached out to him, softly rubbing his back, arms and thighs. They all had tears in their eyes as well.
Even though they were crying, their heart was thudding loudly inside their chest.
For the first time, Jimin told them he loves them.
As Jaemin, he had said it a lot. Expressing his love them was one of his love language.
But as Jimin, it’s the first time, he is saying that to them. So of course they were on cloud nine.
“I waited centuries to hear you say that.” Jungkook’s hand gently patted Jimin’s now black hair. Jimin melt in to the touch.
“Yes. It feels surreal.” Taehyung nodded vehemently, excitement twinkling in his eyes.
“Can you say that again?” Hoseok asked, his hands still wrapped around Jimin.
Jimin looked up, blood rushing in to his cheeks. A shy smile appeared on his lips. “What?” He asked his voice barely a whisper.
They all cooed at the sight, and Jimin’s cheeks burned at it.
“Can you say I love you again?” It was Namjoon who said this time, his dimples deepening at the sight of their seventh lover.
Jimin clutched Hoseok’s shirt tightly. He was embarrassed. Butterflies fluttered inside his stomach. Hands shook with excitement, yet he was nervous. Jimin had never experienced this kind of feelings, at least not in this life. But it felt good. So good to be with his lovers, his world, and his happiness.
“I love you.” Jimin smiled, looking up at all of them one by one. “I love you all.”
“We love you too.” They all shouted crushing him again with a tight hug.
Jimin smiled widely, even though he was being squeezed by the six guys he loves to the moon and back.
“Again, please.” Jungkook whispered.
“I love you.” Jimin said again, feeling so much calm now. It felt good to be in his lover’s hold, as if he found a shelter after an apocalypse, as if sipping the hot coffee in the cold night, as if the warm breeze in the winter. He felt safe, they were his safe place, his shelter, and his home. And for the first time Jimin felt belonged. First time he felt happy, completely happy. The six people from the MIRROR is the reason. And they were his family. They are his family. That’s all mattered to him.
