Hey guys, fCee is back from vacation.

I never really wanted to be away for so long but my cousin invited me to travel to Boracay Island for her birthday, and I am not going to say no to Hot Bodies everywhere. And yeah, there were a LOT of beautiful people there. So now, I’m back refreshed and inspired…

But this won’t be the continuation of the last chapter. I’ll be the tease that I am and give you Liam’s story.

DEDICATION: shiverspot, for the latest votes for this book.

SHOUTOUT:  to my ever favourite readers, NarryGirl_ForEver, JD_Crtfied and Gee_Annette… Love you guys as always.

I will find Niall. He is mine and mine alone.” ~Harry

17) Changed – Liam

“Where the hell was I?” I asked myself.

Everything around me was trees, tall huge trees. But they were already dead. I could feel nothing in the place but death and silence.

And then I felt something move. It was far away from me but I could feel something bottling inside me as I felt that presence nearing. I felt my stomach churn and something sounded inside me. I was very hungry, and I was craving for something.

I felt the pumping of delicious liquid and the sweet taste of the prey coming near me. I licked my lips tasting the sweet scent in the air. It was delicious. I turned my head swiftly to the direction of the footsteps.

I don’t know what was happening but I seem to know the distance of the being that was nearest to me. And like a predator I was, I dashed towards the direction until I saw what it was. It was a huge wolf.

The wolf then slowly turned into something. It stood in its back leg and its foreleg turned into a hand. It changed into a naked human.

“Varick,” his name came from my lips. I should have known it was him from the scent; he was one of my pack members, my beta. But how I didn’t know it was him was beyond my understanding. Even at the moment that he was only meters away from me, I still couldn’t identify his scent.

“Prince Azval, you’re father the Supreme alpha had been searching for you,” he told me.

“Father?”

“Yes,” he answered. “He commanded the entire group of best trackers to search for you at the druid village. But nothing was left there. It was like the whole village vanished.”

“Vanished?” I repeated. But I had been there just moments before I save Rhiannon from dying. And the village was still being eaten by red flames.

I saved Rhiannon from death. But where is she?

Why did I save her? I remembered what Quill told me about druid history long before the attack. He told me that a druid can only be born from another druid. That was when I knew that I have to save Rhiannon, the last living druid so that she could give birth to the reincarnation of Quill, Niall.

But she didn’t like what I did. She wanted to die. And to make matters worse, because I save her, she was raped by the people that attack their village. They tied me up with wolf’s bane so I wasn’t able to stop them. I don’t know how I was able to free myself from their restraint and save Rhiannon before they tried to kill her, but I did, only a little too late. She was scarred then, and angry.

And then she cursed me. I don’t know what the curse was but I knew it wouldn’t be good.

“We should go back now,” Varick told me but suddenly the beast inside me forced its way out. I felt the beast in me forcing my teeth to elongate, but the things that should follow didn’t. I didn’t turn into the huge wolf that I should be turning into. Instead my two upper canines lengthened, and then I dashed towards the boy in front of me and sunk my teeth into his neck.

It was only when the boy was about to die and his heart was struggling to beat when I bit my wrist puncturing a vein and then letting him drink from me. I don’t know why I did that, but instinct just made me do so. And after a few seconds my wounds healed and the boy died.

“I killed him?” There was something in my heart that bothered me. It was guilt. I killed one of our pack members without even batting an eyelash, and I drunk his blood like I would a deer or a rabbit. “I killed him!” I opened my mouth to howl, but no howl came. There was only a shout, a human voice.

“AHhhhhhhh!”

“What was happening to me?” I focused to turn into a wolf, but nothing happened.  I put Varick on the ground and stood up putting an image of the black wolf that I was supposed to transform into in my mind. I looked at my hand and forced an image of a paw. But nothing really changed. Only the fangs that were on my upper canines were there.

“What… Varick!” I heard a cry from behind me and saw a naked blonde boy running towards the corps that was on the ground. “Varick!” The boy cried holding his mate.

“Prince Azval, what happened to him?” Virgil’s tear stained face pleaded for answers as he kissed his dead lover, his mate. And suddenly the beast in me forced its way out again. It was still hungry and wanted more blood.

Virgil stood feeling the danger but I was holding his neck before he could even transform.

“Pr…” he struggled as he couldn’t breathe. “Who… what…” And I sunk my teeth on his neck sucking the life out of him. And as the last of his blood travelled his veins, I slit my wrist and let him drink my blood. And then he died, his limp body falling to the ground. I don’t know why I let them drink my blood when I knew they were gonna die anyway. It was just instinct.

And when the beast in me vanished, tears streamed from my face. I realized I had killed two of my pack members, my beta and his mate.

Maybe it was the curse. I was pretty sure it was the curse. Rhiannon had turned me into something else, a monster. I was a monster that drinks blood, craved blood, and would kill everything to get their blood.

Quill! I thought of him. Quill would hate me for this, for turning into the beast that I have turned. He would hate me and would probably never accept me. Maybe if I died and go to the great cycle of souls that the druid believes where the souls of the dead go, maybe I can be purified and be reincarnated. Maybe then I could be with Quill, or Niall.

Yeah that should be it. I will kill myself.

And so I plunged my hand inside my chest ignoring the stabbing pain and pulled my heart out. And then I felt myself drop on the floor. I died.

I don’t know what happened after then but I was woken by the bright light that casted upon my eyes. It was so intense that I felt my skin heated like it was burning. I tried covering my eyes with my hands, only that I couldn’t move them.

I also heard screams from beside me before something felt upon my head, a heavy cloth that blocked the light. I could have felt relieved because the burning sensation was gone, but knowing I was tied and probably in some kind of a sack didn’t sit in well in my mind.

And so I waited and waited until I felt the things I was riding go down a bumpy slope and I was thrown in some kind of a cell. And two other beings were thrown with me.

My eyes immediately adjusted and I saw the two people I wasn’t expecting to still be alive. Virgil and Varick, they crept closer to me with blood stained lips. They scuttled behind my back like they were afraid.

“Well, well… what have we here,” a powerful voice sounded and then glittery lights came from small flying women. They lighted the whole dungeon revealing one tall man with red hair.

“It seems my guards caught myself some strange creatures here,” he commented as he watched me. My two other packed member hid behind me.

“What are they?” he asked one of the men that I think had been leading the people that caught us, or should have found my supposedly dead body.

But why was I even alive? Or how was it possible?

“Based on one of the fairies, these were supposed to be werepeople specifically werewolves, your majesty. And the one in front of us my king is the son of the Supreme Alpha Antonius Victoryn,” the guard answered.

“…the son of Antonius? But why don’t I see any wolf’s bane on their necks?”

“On the suggestion of Puck, we used the suncurse plant on them sire, to tie their hands,” the guard answered. “It is due to a fact that the wolfbane plant didn’t grow flower when we put them on their neck. And when we used the suncurse, they grew beautiful flowers which meant it was working.”

“Where is that sprite, Puck!” The man ordered.

I knew he was a man of power. He was dressed beautifully with glittering leaves all sewn together into a long pants and long white transparent cloth covering his well-toned chest.

“Your majesty Oberon, Puck is here… Puck is at your service,” one tiny voice came and a young boy appeared near the man. He was no more than two feet and a half.

“What are they Puck?”

“My king it seems to me that they were the creatures that were thought to be extinct, long ago like the mermaids, angels and demons,” the little sprite in green fitted spandex and brown boots answered. He also had long pointed hat and long pointed ears.

“A creature far older than us faeries…” The king commented sounding amused. “This is interesting… so what kind of creature are they?”

“They are vampires my lord,” he answered.

Vampires?

I’ve searched my minds for the word. I’ve learned about vampires from Quill before, when he told me the history according to the druids. Vampires were vile creatures that lived in the blood of other creatures. They lived only in the night but they never sleep, they never grow young, they never bore children and they supposedly burn under the rays of the sun.

They were powerful even when they only roamed the world at night, they found ways to live underground, and supposedly founded a kingdom there. They could also change any living creature into one of them.

And so they plague the earth, threatening the existence of all other creatures pushing the peaceful druids to do drastic measures. The druids casted them all into deep sleep and gathered them all inside their underground kingdom, where they were sealed forever.

“They were supposedly sealed but it seemed, not all of them were put to sleep,” the king commented as he looked at me. “How amazing this happened after I informed the humans the place where the druid lived.”

“You!” It left my mouth.

“Me?” He teased.

“You were the one who told the humans?”

“Oh, yes me… the fairy king betrayed the people who created us and gave us our kingdom, our knowledge. I’m so far blameless you see, for I only did it because of Titania my queen.”

“How dare you!”

“I dare, yes, I dare… I king Oberon dared for Titania planned to run to the Druids for help, to revive one her of favorite changeling child. And I do not see why so, when the child is male and might, me, he overthrows. So I, for my kingdom’s sake did share the druid’s location to the councils of kings: of witches and wolves, and humans too, so they might do what must be done for my sake and theirs. And now that no druids are alive, then the child can no more be revived.”

I felt the beast inside me tried to come out but it couldn’t. It was his fault that my Quill died. It was his fault that everything happened. I will kill him.

“I will kill you!” I cured and he only laughed.

“Try then and break free, then you might be able to kill me. But the suncurse plant in your arm, shall bind your strength to do no harm,” and then he turned towards the little elf in green spandex.

“Search for Titania, she might be grieving for the child she loved so much is dying,” he commanded and the elf skipped and run singing… “And then tell her that I might give her another changeling child, so long as it is female, for I never want a changeling male.”

“And as for you creatures that were supposed to be extinct, you shall stay here until I find more use for you,” and then the man vanished into thin air in an after image of golden dust. The guards and other creatures also left, leaving me and my two pack members behind me.

Darkness surrounded us… and suddenly I opened my eyes.

“Good dreaming, Azval Eltysta Victoryn,” the fairy Queen Titania greeted me. “I trust that you’ve had a wonderful journey in the past.”

“It wasn’t that wonderful Titania,” I answered her looking for the fruit that she suggested I take to regain my memory. The whiteshade berries, white berries that when eaten brings back the past forgotten as a dream in ones sleep. It was a very rare berry that only grows in the kingdom of faeries.

“Do you remember everything?” She asked me and I shook my head. “Not everything I believe. I woke after Oberon caught me and put me in a cell.”

“So you still do not remember how we met?”

“I trust that we were not enemies…”

“Then eat again,” she handed me a couple more whiteshades and I put them into my mouth putting me back into a deep slumber.

“Alpha,” the two called me and I knew they were confused like I was. I have turned them into a creature like myself.

“Why did they call us vampires? What are those creatures? And the way they described vampires, we were not those creatures,” cried Virgil while his lover Varick hugged him in a tight embrace.

But I knew Varick knew what was happening. He understood like I did, although he might not know why. I do know, slightly. It must be the curse that Rhiannon gave me. She turned me into those vile creatures that they sealed away. She made me like this so that Niall could hate me, and maybe she planned this for her revenged. She wanted Niall to hate me and seal me away.

It was a fitting punishment, for not saving her when she was being violated.

I was deep in self-pity when a light flickered outside our cell and a woman in sparkling white dress appeared. Flower bloomed on her long hair and on her hand, she cradle and sleeping child.

“I do believe you are the things Puck had told me,” she looked at us with intent.

“Puck!” She called and the elf appeared. It was the same elf that had served the king Oberon.

“Are these the people Oberon caught… the vampires?”

“Yes, my queen, your highness,” he answered.

“Then by my end of the deal with the last of the druids, I release you from your binds. And as another parting gift, I give you protection from your blood cravings and protection from the sun, and suddenly a part of my wrist burned until an image that looked like a sun appeared.

The vines on our wrist unraveled, and they fell to the ground.

“Why?” I asked. “Why are you helping us?”

“This changeling child breathes because the druid Rhiannon called back his spirit, and as payment I did as I was told. And soon Oberon will pay for what he did. I knew from history that the druids might be peaceful, but their vengeance is also cruel.” She said before she waved the cell gate opened and she flickered away with an after image of glittery golden dust.

“Rhiannon will find vengeance.”

Puck also vanished with her.

I walked to the opened gate and the two followed behind me. The cravings were gone but I knew that I would still need blood, although maybe this time I wouldn’t end up killing or turning someone into like my pack members.

We were just a few steps away from the cell when a woman or half of her appeared floating in the air. I recognized her immediately, it was Rhiannon.

“Rhiannon!”

“So now you remembered,” she commented. “I believe the whiteshade berries was stronger than what is left with my power. And with Titania’s help… I should have known she would be trying to stop me.

“What…”

“Awaken,” she snapped her fingers and then everything turned bright. And suddenly I was awake again in the room where I had eaten the berries Titania gave me. But I was alone, except for one black bird scratching the floor.

“What… Tarmac?” I said and the bird looked up. Then I noticed what it was doing, he was scratching a triangle on the floor and I was inside the image.

“No!” I tried jumping outside the triangle but it was too late.

“Triangulum!” I heard a female voice, no doubt was Eve or her real name Rhiannon. And I was sucked into nothingness until I was back inside the house near the window where Eve stood watching the dead oak.

“Welcome back Liam,” she greeted me as Tarmac shrieked and flew out the window. He was transported with me.

“Rhiannon!”

“She is dead, Liam… and so is Azval. They died a long time ago. Now you… have a job for me to do.”

“I am done being your lackey.”

“But you are not!” She smiled.

“And why would I follow your orders?” I glared daggers at her.

“Because of this,” and snapped her fingers chanting “Pyro.”

Fire appeared in between us floating in the air.

“Show me Niall,” she commanded and then in the fire I saw an image that made my blood boiled. Niall was naked and so was Harry, and they were doing things that I and Quill/Niall was only supposed to do with me. They were copulating.

“Now tell me, won’t you bring me Niall?”

I know I was angry, but I still won’t. My rational mind was telling me to get Niall and run away from everything.

“It’s not going to happen. I will get Niall and bring him with me back to my place, where the vampire Lord should live.”

“Right… you’re children are probably searching for you. But will Niall leave Harry when they were so in love. They are mates you know.”

“Because you curse me… but I will turn him so they won’t be mates.”

“Then he will hate you forever.”

“Not exactly good in bargaining are you Eve… now that you’re looking more and more transparent… He might hate me, but we will have forever to work on it.”

“Oh, but I still have my last bargaining chip. I can bring back his memories, bring back Quill’s memories, the one’s his soul have when he was in love with you.”

That had taken me by surprise. She could do that?

“Now, I will only do that after Niall helped me in what I needed to do,” she said.

“And what is that?”

“You will know when the Bloodmoon comes.”

“You’re going to kill him!” I cursed. I will never let anything happen to Niall. Not this lifetime, when I already failed him ones.

“I may have been a fallen druid but I am still a druid. And Niall, is also my Quill, I never and will never intend to harm him,” she answered and somehow I knew it was true.

“Bring him to me, and I will restore his memories the moment I sees him,” she said and then she vanished. I walked to where she usually stood and looked down the window. She was there standing near the dead oak.

“Soon… very soon… I will be free…” she whispered to the oak. And I dashed out of the mansion and into the forest.

I will find Niall. He is mine and mine alone.  || Stay tuned for more

And then in the next chapter, we will return to what Harry and Niall were doing. Excited? I bet you are.

And yes, I did base some of the characters here from Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ I’m sort of a fan of him.
