[Armin’s POV]
After we ate the spaghetti, we headed to the living room and sat on opposite sides of the couch. I looked at Eren then decided to scoot a little closer to him. I sat a comfortable distance from him, although I wanted to sit right next to him, but I don’t want to freak him out. I glanced at him with a smile and asked “So, wanna watch a movie” He looked at me with a big smile.
“Sure!” he said “there was this movie I’ve wanted to see for a while” I looked at him curiously and smiled. I wonder what kind of movies he likes I wondered to myself.
“What movie?” I asked curiously and he looked at me with a grin. I was kind of intimidated by it and smiled nervously.
“Annabelle!” He exclaimed with what seemed like excitement. My eyes widened and as he saw this, he smirked. I blushed and looked away then grabbed the remote hurriedly. Why a horror movie?! Anything but… but… HORROR! Horror movies scare me. I hate watching them alone. I guess its ok this once. Maybe he planned this.
My thoughts roamed off to ideas of what might happen during the movie, making my blush a deep red. I completely forgot Eren was at my house until I felt a hand on my forehead. I look over at the brunette slightly surprised.
“Y-Yeah?” I ask, obviously flustered. He just smiled and chuckled as he sat back, now sitting a little closer than before.
“You just spaced out and your face turned red. So I checked if you had a fever.” I didn’t. But my face feels hot from the dark blush spread across my cheeks. I shake my head and search for the movie on demand and start it. I was in for a treat…
Once the movie starts, it was ok. It wasn’t too bad, I jumped here and there and Eren just chuckled at me. I felt like he was watching me. Every time I turned to look at him, he quickly looked at the screen in front of us. Then I hear a scream from the television and jump, letting out a small yelp, and cover my eyes.
I hear a small laugh from beside me before feeling two warm and strong arms wrap around my small frame. I peek from my hands to see Eren right beside me hugging me, smiling. He takes the remote and pauses the movie and looks at me. I quickly cover my eyes once again but soon have them removed from my face. I am then looking into two beautiful blue-green eyes.
“Scared?” His voice was so soft and gently, it made me feel safe. I nodded slowly and leaned forward laying my head on his shoulder. He responded to my action by combing his fingers through my hair. I smiled and let out a small yawn.
“You know, out of all the people I have ever hung out with, you are the best of them all.” I smiled wider and looked up at him. I was surprised by what he said, but at the same time, very happy to hear this from him.
“Well, you are the best person I’ve ever met,” I said softly and let out a small girlish-type giggle. He just let out a small laugh and leaned his head against mine. I was so happy. I wanted this moment to last forever. Eren then interrupted the comfortable silence, which I didn’t really mind.
“Wanna go to your room and lay down? It’s getting kinda late.” I nodded into his shoulder and answered with a small yes before getting up off the couch. I headed to my room, closely followed by Eren, and I felt his eyes glued to me the whole way to my room.
I crawled onto my bed and sit against the wall, crossing my legs. Eren smiled and crawled onto the bed, sitting in front of me. We smiled at each other, laughing.
“Mind if I sleep with you?” I blush at his question but nod.
We both lay under the cover, after my lamp was turned off, and lay very close to one another. I only had a twin sized bed, so there wasn’t much room for two high school boys to fit with room to spare. I was fine with the little space between us. Eren must have thought the same thing after wrapping his arms around my waist loosely and resting his chin on top of my head.
I turned toward him and snuggled into his chest. He was very warm. I closed my eyes, smiled, and slowly drifted off to sleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
(A/N I am so super sorry I haven’t updated in like a year. I am so lazy and such a slacker. School has also started like months ago, sooo yeah. My schedule is packed. I will try to get more chapters written. If I’m lucky, I’ll be able to write a few, like, 3-4. Wouldn’t that be amazing? Lol. Anyways, I hope yall enjoy!! I love yaaall!!)
