[Armin’s POV]
I wake up rubbing the sleep out of my eyes sitting up in my bed. My whole body aches and is sore from yesterday. I slowly manage to swing my legs over the edge and stand up. I slowly trudge to my closet and grab a pair of blue skinny jeans, a Legend of Zelda t-shirt, and a pair of clean boxers. I take the clothes walking into the bathroom across the hall from my bedroom. I strip from my clothes stepping into the shower letting the hot water run all over my body letting a small wince of pain when the water runs along my cuts.
I get out of the shower drying off and putting on my clean clothes I have picked for the day. I brush my teeth and my morning bedhead. I look at myself in the mirror and sigh. Time for another crappy day of the hell hole known as school. I walk out of the bathroom to my room and slip on my favorite over-sized blue sweater. I then grab my backpack slipping it over my shoulder walking out of my room.
I quietly sneak my way into the kitchen and grab a water bottle running out the door so I can walk myself to school. I usually run to school so I can make it before the bullies could get me. I try making it to school before they do so I don’t get beat up
I arrive at school 10 minutes early and rush to my locker and get everything I need for my first class and rush off to my first class…
~TIMSKIP TO LUNCH~
I skip lunch and walk into the library and find a table in the back by a window. I pull out the book I am currently reading, Gregor and the Code of Claw. It’s a pretty good book so far. It’s about a young warrior named Gregor who must fight against the rats. He is held back by his village and is now under another leader’s control.
Wow! It’s so awesome even thinking about it. I honestly have a little crush on the main character. I imagine him with short brown hair, green eyes, and a nice tall and fit body. Oh, and if you’re wondering, yes. I’m gay. I start to blush a little then I feel a tap on my shoulder.
I look up to see a tanned boy with short brown hair and beautiful turquoise eyes. I end up blushing a little more as I continue staring. I then blink a few times and realize he’s the boy who took me to the nurse and saved me from the bullies. I quickly stand up and thank him.
“Thank you for saving me from the bullies and taking me to the nurse’s office. How can I repay you?” I bow my head and give a small shy smile. He then smiles. His smile made me want to melt it made my face heat up more.
“No problem and I would actually like to get to know you in return if you don’t mind.” He said with such confidence. I felt myself blush like crazy. He wants to get to know me?! Wow! I see him sit down in the chair across the table so I sit down opening my book to hide my blush.
“So what’s your name?” I hear the boy ask from the other side of the table. I peak over the book at him.
“A-Armin Arlert.” I reply flustered hiding my face behind the book once again. Then the book is pushed to the table and my eyes are met with the turquoise-eyed boys’ across the table.
“Cute name. My name is Eren Jaeger.” He just stares into my eyes as I blush harder (If possible) at him calling my name cute. I swear this boy is going to kill me. Then a question roams my head. He can actually see me and he’s not beating me up?
“You’re actually talking to me and not wanting to beat me up or call me names?” I question with slight confusion. The brunette looks at me with a similar expression then laughs. He laughed. Why did he laugh!? Then he answers my question with a smile.
“Yes, I’m actually talking to you. Also, the only name I want to call you is Armin and why the hell would I want to beat you up?” Did I just hear him right?
“You don’t? I question him again resting my chin in the palm of my hand letting my elbow rest on the table.
“Of course not. Why would I help you out then come and beat you up? I actually wanted to see if we could be friends honestly.” He leans back in his chair blushing and rubbing the back of his neck. He wants to be friends with me?! Oh my goodness! No way! My eyes widen and I smile but I’m actually full out fanboying inside.
“I would love to be your friend Eren!” I exclaim using his name. I love the way his name sounds and feels when I say it. He blushes with a big goofy smile. I laugh as I close up my book and put it in my bag. I can’t believe my secret hero can see me and is now my one and only friend…
