BAEKHYUN’S POV
I miss him too, but… my lips doesn’t want to talk.
I don’t know if how many minutes we’re hugging each other before he finally pulled away.
“Did you asked Jong Suk about this?” I asked.
He nodded, “I knew it.” I said. “That’s why you’re smirking earlier.”
“Is it hot?” He asked smirking again.
“Stop.” I said, his smirk turned into a pout. “Oh, come on! Stop doing that, Mr. Park.”
“You don’t want me to smirk and also to pout? What do you want me to do then?” He asked.
What do you… want me to do then? Why is it a double meaning for me?
He smirked again, while looking at me. “Double meaning?”
I frowned and pushed him. “Shut up.” I went down from the table and fixed myself.
“Yah.” I gasped when he suddenly hugged me from my back.
“We have to talk about so many things, Chanyeol.” I said.
“About?”
“About pretending that you forgot me back in the hospital?”
He pulled away and went in front of me, he held my hand and I can feel the sparks again.
He slowly intertwined his hands with mine, “I’ll… explain.”

“I pretended because I have to handle things and our business here in London. I don’t want you to be hurt you know, but it seems turned out the same. I still hurt you.”
He pretended back then that he forgot me then the next day, I just can’t find him.
I sighed and leaned against my seat, we’re here at his office. Jungkook and Ga Young suddenly disappeared even Chanyeol told them to stay outside the office of Mr. Lee.
“Yeah, good thing you know.” I stare onto the ceiling. “I actually… knew everything.”
“Y-you did?” He asked, he’s just sitting across mine.
I nodded, “Kris hyung emailed me, your father gave me a box that contains a ticket and a letter before he gone. There’s so many people who’s helping me to find you, Chanyeol.”
“I-i’m sorry, Sehun told me how much hurt you were. He kept on telling me to come back but no one will handle the business, since Yoora noona already have a husband and she have to take care of him and she’s also pregnant. If Sehun will be the CEO, everyone will create an issue why Sehun become a CEO so sudden instead of me.”
“I understand.” I said. I looked on my wrist watch. “I have to go, I still have work.”
“Huh? Work?”
I nodded and stood up, “I’m a CEO you know, I have to contact the hospital on Korea.”
“You’re a CEO?!” He asked in disbelief.
I nodded, “Why?”
“Nothing.”
“I’ll go ahead.” I said and he gave me a nod.

“Hyung!” I frowned when I heard Jungkook’s voice, he ran towards me while holding his phone.
“There’s an emergency at Korea! They need a professional doctor like you!”
“What?! Why? What’s happening?” I asked, panicking.
“There’s so many patient there, they’re running out of doctors! We need to go back immediately, hyung. There’s a stranger who attacked at a mall and dropped a bomb.”
“Dial Jong Suk’s number,” I handed him my phone. “Then asked for some doctors who can help us then go to your room and pack up. We will go back.”
“Tao!” I went to Tao’s room.
“Yes, hyung?” He asked me.
“Can you find two tickets from London to South Korea now? It’s an emergency, me and Jungkook have to go back.”
He nodded, “Sure, hyung.” I thanked him before going to my room.
I immediately packed my things up then pulled my luggage out from my room.
“Are you done?” I asked Jungkook when he went out from his room.
He nodded, “Yes, hyung. Let’s go.” I nodded.
“Hyung! Here’s your tickets.”
“Thank you so much, Tao.” I took my wallet out and handed him a cash.
“Here, payment for the tickets. Thank you so much, Tao. You helped us a lot.”
“Your welcome, Hyung.”
“Tell Kris hyung about this and tell him that I’m so thankful because he helped me.”
“Yes, hyung.”
“Let’s go.” Jungkook nodded as we went out from the house.
We placed the luggage on the compartment and entered the car, I immediately drove towards the airport.
“Did you call Jong Suk?” I asked Jungkook.
“Yes, hyung. The doctors will come after us.”
I nodded, “Good job.”
✈ South Korea ✈
“Jungkook, pick the other doctors up that will arrive from London. I’ll just go and look for a cab to go to the hospital. Bring my car and go to the hospital.”
“But, hyung.”
“You can do that, Kook.” I handed him the keg of my car.
I immediately looked for a cab and told the drive to bring me to the hospital.
Once, I arrive. Ambulances welcomed me, I ran inside the hospital and saw nurses and patients on the stretcher.
“Doctor Byun!” I saw Ji Eun as she rushed towards me.
“We have so many patients!”
“Doctor Byun! We need your help.” I looked behind and saw a patient along with nurses.
“Bring him to the operating room.” The nurse nodded.
I immediately went to the operating room and wear some gears and started the operation.
“Transfer the patient to his private room.”
The door of the operating room opened, another patient came. I took my gears that I used earlier and wash my hands and put a sanitizer then Ji Eun put a new gear on my hand.
I started to operate another patient until I didn’t realize that it took me for some hours inside the operating room without getting out.
I’ve operated more than 10 patients and I felt so tired, I sat on my swivel chair after operating.
I looked at the wall clock and it’s 5 am already, I sighed.
The door opened and it’s Jungkook, “I brought a coffee.” He said while smiling.
“Thanks.” I said and accepted the coffee that he bought for me.
Someone knocked on the door, Jungkook stood up and opened the door.
It’s Ji Eun, “Doctor Byun, the doctors from London wants to talk to you.”
I nodded, “I’m coming.” She closed the door.
I stood up as Jungkook immediately helped me to fix myself, “Thanks.” I said and Jungkook just gave me a smile.
I went out from my office and went down to the ground floor, I saw 20+ doctors standing.
They bowed, “Hello, Doctor Byun. You did a good job.” They all said.
I smiled, “All of you too.”
“We have to go back to London, Doc. It’s nice helping you here.” One of them said.
I smiled, “Thank you so much, tell Jong Suk that I’m thankful because he helped me.”
“Okay, Sir.” I nodded and smiled.
“I’ll bring you to the airport, Doctors.” Jungkook suddenly appeared.
“Sure.” They all said.
“Thanks, Kook.” He nodded and gave me a smile.
* * *
I took a deep breath, I’m so tired…
“Doc, there’s someone down there.” I frowned after hearing what Ji Eun have said.
I stood up and went out from my office, I went to the ground floor and saw so many people.
My eyes widened when I saw, Kyungsoo, Kai, Suho, Lay, Sehun, Luhan, Tao, Kris, Xiumin and Chen. They’re smiling at me. Along with some peoples.
“What are you guys doing here?” I asked in disbelief.
They didn’t answered and just smiled. “Hey.”
I slowly looked behind and saw…
“Chanyeol?” He smiled.
“Hi?” He said. “I… heard that you left London because your hospital had an emergency. I immediately came here to follow you.”
“But… Why?”
He smiled and walked towards me, “I don’t want to let go of you anymore and I also have to do this…”
He knelt down and I gulped when he took out a small box, he smiled and opened the box.
“Will you be with me forever?”
Tears started to form into my eyes, I smiled. “Yes!” He smiled widely and took the ring.
He stood up and slid the ring onto my ring finger, he wiped the tears that fell off from my eyes.
He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine as we heard the loud cheering from the peoples around.
We pulled away and looked at our friends, I gestured them to join us.
They smiled and ran towards us, “Group hug!!!”
We started as classmates
Turned into best friends
Then to haters
After facing so many problems
We finally turned into lovers
