CHANYEOL’S POV
“What took you so long?” Xiumin asked me when I entered the kitchen.
I placed the bags on the table, I sat on the chair. “H-hyung, a stranger blocked my way earlier.”
He stopped from preparing plates and turned around to me, “Then?”
“He talked to me with some stuffs and then suddenly took out a knife.”
His eyes widened, “Are you okay?” He asked, worried.
I nodded, “A guy saved me, before the stranger could stab me.”
He sighed on relief, “Who’s the guy that saved you?”
I shook my head, “I can’t see his face because he’s wearing a mask and cap.”
But his eyes… It’s so calmly to stare on his eyes.
“How about the stranger that was about to stab you? Did you see the face?”
I shook my head, “I didn’t. He’s also wearing a mask and cap.”
“You should be careful next time, good thing there’s a guy who’s ready to save you.” He turned around and continued doing whatever he’s doing.
I stood up, “I’ll just go and change.” He nodded as I went to my room.
I close the door with my right foot and lay down on my bed, I should know that guy who saved me and the stranger who almost stab me.
BAEKHYUN’S POV
“We’re already hungry, what took you so long?” Kyungsoo asked when I entered the kitchen.
“Sorry.” I apologized, “Where’s Kai?” I asked after putting the bags on the table.
“Room.” I nodded and immediately went to Kai’s room.
I knocked and went in, I saw him laying on his bed with the laptop on his lap, he’s also wearing his eyeglasses.
I closed the door and sat on his bed, “Kai,” I called him.
“Mmm?” He asked without looking at me.
“Chanyeol almost got stab.” He stopped and looked at me with his widened eyes.
“What?!” He asked.
“Suga… It’s Suga, I saw him talking to Chanyeol on the street and suddenly took out a knife. Good thing, I punched him before he could do something to Chanyeol.”
“Did Chanyeol recognize you?”
I shook my head, “I made sure that I’m wearing my cap and mask.”
“How about Suga?”
I shook my head, “Chanyeol didn’t recognize him too, he’s wearing mask and cap. But I know him and his friends too much.”
“We should keep Chanyeol near us.” I nodded, agreeing on what he have said.
“What are you going to do now?”
“I still don’t know yet, but my one and only goal is to protect him and keep him away from DarkDevil.”
He nodded, “I’ll help you to protect him.”
I stood up, “Thanks, bro.”
He nodded, “No problem.” I smiled before leaving his room.
I went to my room and took the key out from my drawer, I walk towards the cabinet and unlock it.
I saw the box that I’m keeping inside that cabinet for months.
I took it and place it on the bed as I sat down, I took a deep breath before opening the box.
I saw my old phone, love letters, rings and such. I grab the old phone and took the charger.
I charged it and turned it on, after some seconds. It opened, I gulped when I saw the wallpaper…
I sighed and went to the messages, I saw his name, the one and only conversations of us that I’ve never deleted.
I pressed it and saw our sweet conversations, the last texts were from me. I’m always texting him, and after some months, I stopped.
I don’t know what’s happening to me but I typed a message for him…
I don’t know if he’s still using the same number…

Not on my proper senses, I accidentally pressed the send button. I sighed, at least…
Next, I pressed the gallery and saw the 1k+ pictures of us.
I immediately unplugged the charger causing for the phone to shut down again.
I put the phone and charger back inside the box and then put it inside the cabinet again and locked it. I put the key inside the drawer and went out from my room.
While on my way towards the living room, I saw Kyungsoo. He frowned and walked towards me.
“Why?” I asked.
“Why are you crying?” My eyes widened and touch my face.
My face was wet, I’m indeed crying.
I sighed and wiped my tears, “Nothing.” I was about to walk passed him but he grabbed my arm and dragged me to the pool.
He sat down and put his feet under the water, I sat beside him and let my feet go wet too.
“What happened?” He asked, staring at the water.
“I… opened the box.”
“You checked everything?”
I nodded, “Just checked?” He asked again.
I sighed, “I messaged him.”
“Is it still his number?”
I shrugged, “I don’t know.”
Silence filled the entire place, until I decided to break the silence.
“Chanyeol… almost got stab earlier.”
He looked at me with his widened eyes, “Is he okay?”
I nodded, “That’s why I came late, I saved him.”
“I’m really amazed with you.”
I chuckled but stopped, “Suga was the stranger who almost kill him.”
“W-what? They’re back?”
I nodded, “I think, they got freed.”
“I’ll help you to protect him.”
“Thank you so much.” I said.
“You’re welcome.” He stood up so I did the same.
“Let’s go inside and have a dinner.” I nodded and followed him to the kitchen.
