Byakuya Kuchiki was one cold son of a bitch, and no one knew this better than his lieutenant.
For some reason, more hollows than usual had been popping up and the sixth division had been swamped with work. Everyone was a little on edge with each other, but It’s captain was by far the most effected. Byakuya had piles and piles of paperwork to do, reports to be looked over, and things to be signed. To say he was stressed was an understatement, and, as per usual, Renji was paying the price. The red heads fellow lieutenants marveled at how well he handled the icy noble and thought him a saint for not only putting up with it, but not even thinking much of it to begin with.
“I’m used to it,” he’d say with a shrug to his fellow squad members after they witnessed their captain scolding and insulting the tattooed man over something as simple as missing a question on a form.
To be honest, Renji almost pitied his superior. He absolutely hated paperwork, and his captain had nearly twice as much as he did. How he managed to put up with that and his duties as head of the most well known noble family in the entire soul society was beyond him.
Not to mention his shitty lieutenant, the red head thought bitterly. Renji knew when it came to his job, he was pretty crappy at it. He was always late, came into work hung over way too often, and slacked off a bit in training. The questions people should be asking, is how his Taicho put up with him.
But not today, he thought enthusiastically. Kuchiki Taicho had been much more stressed than Renji had ever seen him before, and he decided that now was the best Time to become a better lieutenant. Kami knew, his captain deserved it.
And so, that’s how the red head found himself waking up early in the morning to iron his outfit and show up to the sixth division office on time.
” ohayo Kuchiki Taicho!” Renji yelled as he threw the door open. His captain, being the only person there usually that time of the morning, had his door to his office open. His head had shot up, a startled expression on his face that the tattooed man relished in. It didn’t last long however, as it quickly turned to a nasty scowl. The dark circles under the noble’s eyes made Renji’s stomach twist uncomfortably. His poor captain’s age was starting to show.
“Abarai! Don’t be so loud! It’s too early in the morning for yelling, And this is the first time you’ve been on time this month! And where is your hair tie!?” Byakuya scolded. The red head ran his fingers through his thick, shaggy locks sheepishly.
” M’sorry, Taicho, guess I forgot it…” He said. His captain huffed.
“Just don’t let it distract you, there’s a large stack of paperwork on your desk and I expect it done by the end of the day! Do you understand!?”
“Yes, sir!” Renji said, bowing deeply. If Byakuya wasn’t suspicious of his lieutenants behavior before, (which he was,) he certainly was now. Renji always groaned about paperwork. Even if he was acting strange, the Kuchiki didn’t dare complain. Besides, he had too much work of his own to do to be worrying about what the tattooed man was up to. And so, he shoved the thought to the back of his mind.
Until 7:34 PM when there was a polite, solid knock on his door.
“Enter.” Byakuya said without looking up from his work. The door slid open gently.
“Kuchiki Taicho, I’ve finished the paper work you’ve given me.” Renji’s voice saying those words startled the noble for the second time today. He looked up to see his lieutenant balancing the stack carefully. His face was passive, but his eyes glittered with a kind of pride. Byakuya’s suspicion grew.
“…very good, Abarai. You may set it on my desk.” he said. Renji did as told, but hesitated a bit, instead of leaving right away.
“…Is there anything else you needed Abarai Fukutaicho, or are you is it your goal to be a distraction?” Byakuya said, slightly annoyed.
“Erm, Taicho…?”
“Yes, Abarai?”
“Have you… Eaten anything lately?” The noble blinked. Of all things he expected his lieutenant to ask him, whether he’d eaten anything lately was not one of them.
“What? Why would you ask that?” Byakuya snapped. The red head winced.
“I dunno, you’ve jus’ been workin’ a whole lot lately and you look kinda pale…” He said. The icy captain scowled.
“My health is none of your concern, Abarai fukutaicho, you have other, more important things to worry about. I assure you as a full grown man, I can take care of myself.” His words were so cold, Renji had to suppress the need to shiver.
“Er… With all due respect, captain… Your health is my concern. If you’re not eating enough, then you get weak and if you’re weak, you can’t do stuff like help training and you get tired, then it’s harder to do stuff like paper work when you’re tired, and you get…. Er… Cranky…” The red head rambled, nervously avoiding his superior’s gaze.
“…Abarai.”
“Y-yes, Taicho?”
“Are you trying to tell me how to do my job?”
“N-no!” Renji said quickly, putting his hands up in surrender and defense.
“N-not at all, captain! I’m just… I-I’m just tryin’ to do my job, y’know? I’m ‘sposed ta be here ta help you, ‘n stuff…” Byakuya sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Like I said before, I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself. Just keep your mouth shut and do what I tell you without complaint. That’s your job. Understand?”
“I…but…”
“Do you understand, Abarai?” Renji sighed heavily.
“Yes, Taicho, I understand.” He sighed in defeat. He bowed deeply and left, shutting the door behind him. Once he was gone, the noble’s stomach growled.
He hadn’t eaten in several days.
As the week went on, it only got worse.
The next day, Renji was on time again, uniform ironed and work done on time. Since he’s finished all his work the day before, he had some extra time. So, when Byakuya went out to over see training, he found his lieutenant already there, leading them through drills.
“Abarai, what are you doing?”
“Drills, Captain!” The red head yelled over the noise of swords coming together. “You can go, I’ll watch over training today!” The noble didn’t even get a chance to argue, before Renji turned to help correct one of the other soul reapers stance.
Wednesday, Byakuya came to the office and found the tattooed man already there, working on his paperwork for the day. At the sight of his shocked captain standing in the door way, he stood up and bowed.
“Good morning, Kuchiki Taicho. Would you like me to make you some tea?” He said. Byakuya shook himself out of his trance, placing his cool, impassive mask back on.
“That would be appreciated, thank you Abarai.” His lieutenant knew just how he liked it. A few minutes after he sat down and began sorting through what he had to do that day, the red head set down a cup of hot tea and a plate of Onigiri on his desk before bowing out. Of course, this didn’t go unnoticed by the noble, but he did eat all of them, and they were… Quite good. As far as Onigiri went.
Thursday ended up being unusually cold. Renji was starting to figure out the best way to help his captain, and that was by doing it without mention. He’d leave lunch on his desk while he was up getting more ink, take papers from his desk he could do himself, and each time Byakuya would refuse to mention it. That was fine with him, as he would come by later to collect empty dishes and notes telling him where to put the papers he stole. That Thursday, however, was when Byakuya decided he couldn’t let this go on. He waited, and sure enough, the tattooed man entered his office politely, holding a thick, pinkish blanket. The color reminded the noble of the fur wrapped around Renji’s shoulders when he released his bankai.
The red head set a cup of tea In front of his Taicho to distract him before slipping the blanket over his shoulders. However, Byakuya was ready and grabbed his wrist before he could retreat.
“Abarai, I told you, I can care for myself.”
“Yes, Taicho, I know. You woulda grabbed yourself a blanket, had you not been so busy, right?” He said.
“I mean it, Abarai. Stop this, you’re acting like a servant. You have more important things to be doing then making me tea and bringing me lunch.”
“I know, and I’m doing them aren’t I?”
“Yes, and that’s certainly an improvement, but why are you trying to dote on me like a child!?” Byakuya said, frustrated.
“Taicho…” Renji said softly, pulling his hand away slowly. The noble allowed it, and he came to sit in front of him.
“You’ve been stressed lately.” The tattooed man stated calmly.
“Yes, I suppose I’ve had a little more work than usual…”
“No, Taicho. Not a little. No one’s seen you this stressed before. You…*sigh* you’ve been… On edge, lately and the squad was being affected. They feel as though you maybe… Needed a break. I concurred, so I figured I’d take things into my own hands and… Try to relieve some of your stress.” Byakuya blinked.
“So you’ve been doing all this because I’ve been short tempered and difficult?” He said.
“Well, that’s putting it harshly, but… Yeah.” Renji winced, waiting for his superior to begin yelling and berating him. He did neither, just leaned back in his chair. All those times Renji had been nice to him, getting him lunch, tea, doing more paperwork, etc. had been because… He thought Byakuya was being an asshole…? The noble felt his heart sink a little bit. He hadn’t even known he’d cared, but now that he knew his lieutenant wasn’t acting so strangely out of concern for him mad him feel… Crappy. His impassive mask slid back into place.
“I see. Thank you for being honest with me Abarai. I will attempt to be more… Agreeable in the future. You may go now.” He said emotionlessly.
“Wait, Taicho, I-“
“Go” the red head hesitated, but in the end, he turned, bowed, and left, feeling oddly unsatisfied.
The next week, Byakuya was true to his word. He stopped snapping at his squad members and actually ended up withdrawing a little more than necessary. Why, not even he himself knew. He supposed what Renji said to him was hurting him a little more than he was willing to admit, but he didn’t want to believe it.
Renji stopped caring for him. He kept coming in on time, and getting his work done, (though he didn’t like it,) but he stopped leaving meals and taking on extra work. Lieutenant and Captain didn’t speak much to each other, and Renji found himself sneaking glances at his superior more often than not. He noticed the bags under Byakuya’s eyes getting deeper again, and although the rest of the squad was relieved, the red head’s concern only grew. One day, he decided to inquire about it.
“Enter.” Kuchiki taicho’s smooth voice said from behind the door, after Renji had knocked.
“Captain.” He said, bowing deeply.
“Yes, Abarai, how can I help you.”
“Kuchiki Taicho I am concerned about your health.” Byakuya sighed.
“Abarai, I already lightened up on the squad members, I cannot let them get away with everything-“
“What? No! This has nothin’ to do with the other squad members, I am concerned about you. You work too much. I think you should take more brakes. If you really have so much you’re responsible for, then I think you should go to head captain Yamamoto and request he lighten your work load.” Renji said. Again, Byakuya sighed.
“That’s not necessary, Abarai. I told you time and again I can take care of myself! Why can you not get this through your thick head!? You can hardly do your own work, why must you insist on trying to do mine!?” The noble snapped. Renji blinked.
“I-I don’t know… I guess I always worry about others before myself… It’s a habit from the rukongai. I was one of the oldest kids in our little gang of orphans, so I was kinda like a big brother to them. I always made sure the other kids had food and water before me, and if one of ’em got sick, or scared, or cold, I was the first one to offer up my mattress, or stay up to make sure they all made it through the night…” Renji lost track of his point, rambling about his childhood.
“I am far from a child, Renji.”
“But I see some of the same symptoms in you as I do in them. With all due respect, Taicho, you’re looking paler, thinner, and over all exhausted.”
“It’s nothing you should be concerned about.”
“I know, but I am! Please, just…” Renji ran his fingers through his hair in exasperation. “Just eat something? Please?”
“Fine. If it’s so important to you.” The red head let out a relieved sigh.
“Thank you, Kuchiki Taicho.”
“I don’t see how it would help with stress anyway…” Renji pondered that. Of course, his captain was right. Let’s see, what helped with stress? Exercise? No, Byakuya got enough of that in training. Without eating for several days, he couldn’t spar without potentially damaging his pride. Hobbies? The red head doubted he had any. Friends? No. Byakuya wouldn’t take the time to go out and do anything leisurely when he had work.
Just then, Renji got an idea. It was risky, but if it worked, It would undoubtedly help his captain with his stress almost immediately. If, however, it backfired, Renji would be in trouble for a very long time. He got an idea from something one of the squad members had said the other day.
Kuchiki Taicho simply needed to get laid.
“Er… Taicho… I believe I have an idea on how to relieve your stress…” Renji said hesitantly.
“Then please…” Byakuya said, gesturing vaguely.
“Okay, um… Please pull out your chair from your desk and sit down.”
“Abarai, if your about to give me a massage or something equally as ridiculous, I will pile your desk so full of paperwork, you won’t see anything but paper and ink no matter where you look.” The captain said, though he did as told. The red head stood up and went to stand in front of him, gulping nervously.
“Oh no, captain. No massage or anything equal, trust me… This is much worse.” With that he dropped to his knees with a thud on the hard wood floor. The noble stared down at him in shock.
“Lieutenant Renji Abarai, I am going to give you three seconds to stand up, leave my office, and not speak to me for a very long time.” He said.
“Sorry Taicho…” With that, the tattooed man used a paralyzing bakudo, trapping Byakuya’s arms behind his back. Instantly the captain began struggling.
“Abarai! Release me at once! I will have you castrated for this!” He said. Renji winced.
“M’really sorry Taicho, but it’s for your own good…” He said in a slight whine. He placed his hands gently on top of the noble’s thighs as he struggled.
“Don’t touch me! I’ll kill you, you filthy peasant! I will shove Senbonsakura so far up your ass, you’ll be coughing razor blades for weeks! Un-hand me, stupid monkey!” Byakuya snarled and spat. Renji backed away, as his captain was now trying to kick him. He felt hurt by the cruel language, but also quite amused. Eventually his amusement won and he couldn’t help but chuckle.
“What!? Are you laughing at me!? I will have your head, street rat!!!” His superior hissed.
“I’m sorry, Taicho~! I never knew you thought of me that way… It’s hurtful, but I suppose I deserve it…” Renji said.
“Damn right you do! This is rape, I tell you! Rape! Do you understand, idiot monkey!?” Byakuya said. Renji suddenly went still, his expression serious.
“… Now taicho, I’m not doing this for me, I’m doin’ it for you… I promise you everything I do will be for your pleasure only.” He said. Byakuya only glared harshly at him, making the red head look away in shame.
“…okay, I guess we’ll do this the hard way.” He said.
“Wha-?! Hey!!! Where do you think you’re going!? Come back here and release me! Abarai! Abarai!!!” The noble called after him as Renji left the room, closing the door behind him. He came back a few moments later carrying som thin rope. He looked at his superior with a heavy sigh.
“Here goes…” He said.
“…wait… Abarai…! Don’t you dare-!” Byakuya gasped in shock as his lieutenant tied his arms up behind the chair tightly before releasing the bakudo.
“I promise I’ll leave your mouth un-gagged, so you can scream for help if you really want.” Renji said as he came back around and went on his knees in front of his captain. He suddenly looked up into the noble’s eyes with a soft, caring, concerned look in his eyes.
“I’m going to take off your hakama now, ok Taicho? Don’t freak out and kick me.” Byakuya was so shocked by his expression, that he didn’t even struggle as the bottom half of his uniform was pulled off of him. It wasn’t until Renji reached for his boxers that he spoke up again.
“Stop…” He said softly, his fire gone. When Renji looked up, he expected pity, but there was none. Only Understanding and reassurance.
“It’s alright Taicho, I promise your honor will be intact.” With that, the red head pulled off the final layer of clothing. His captain didn’t fight as his legs were tied to either arm of the chair, spreading his legs. His member was soft, but gave a twinge of interest as his lieutenant hooked his arms around the bottom of his thighs and leaned in, breath ghosting over it.
“Please Abarai… Just think about what you’re doing for just a moment…” Byakuya said.
“I’ve been thinkin’ about it this whole time, Taicho. If I stopped now, I think it’d be even worse… So I’m gonna keep going. You haven’t done anything like this in… How long? You at least masturbate regularly, right?” Renji said. The noble looked away.
“If you’re going to do it, then just get it over with already.” He said, cheeks turning pink.
“As y’wish, Taicho.” With that, the lieutenant pulled his captain’s hips forward a bit and spread his cheeks open.
“Abarai… What the hell are you-!?” Byakuya didn’t finish his sentence before he gasped loudly, jolting as Renji buried his face below his member and flicked his tongue against the noble’s entrance.
“S-stop that, that’s disgusting! Wh-what are you-!? Why would you do that!?” He sputtered. Renji flicked his tongue against his entrance again and licking it firmly. His superior squirmed, pulling at his restraints.
“S-stop! D-don’t use your tongue like that, it’s disgraceful! Embarrassing! Absolutely- oh~!” Byakuya gasped, tensing as his lieutenant continued to tease his hole with his tongue. Of course, Renji didn’t reply, as his mouth was occupied. The noble’s cheeks burned as he felt himself growing hard. The red head traced his entrance, lubing it up considerably.
“A-Abarai this is horrendous! Stop making those- those sounds! This is so disgraceful! W-what if someone hears!? A-and they c-come in h-ah~!” Byakuya bit his lip after accidentally releasing a slight moan. He almost wished Renji had gagged him, if only to save him from the embarrassment. The noises alone made the noble cringe internally. He looked down and groaned at the sight, his legs spread wide clearly displaying his now rock hard erection. All he could see was his lieutenants fiery red hair between his legs, nestled into his thighs. Just then, Renji pulled away with a wet pop, a trail of saliva connecting the tip of his tongue and oh god, don’t think about that! Byakuya gritted his teeth and looked away, but couldn’t help but open one eye to glance down at his captor. Renji had a small smirk on his face that the noble had never seen before. His cock twitched at the sight of it, drawing the red heads attention. His smirk grew slightly larger as he absently wiped a bead of pre cum from the tip.
“Hm, captain… Your words say disgusting, but your body says amazing… ” Renji said, looking at the small white smudge on his finger casually.
“And you know what I say…?” He said, just as casually. Byakuya didn’t answer, just looked down at him in horror and dread.
“I say… Delicious~” with that, the red head looked his captain straight in the eye as he licked the pre cum off his finger. Byakuya let out a barely audible whine as his cock leaked at the sight. Renji chuckled before nuzzling his face back between his taicho’s cheeks again. Byakuya tensed with a large gasp as he felt that wet muscle suddenly squeeze through his tight entrance.
“R-Renji!” He sputtered, wanting desperately to grab a fist full of his Crimson locks and squeeze his thighs around his head.
“W-wait~! D-don’t go inside~! I-it’s ah~! I-it’s so- oh~! So d-dirty~!” He panted between gasps and moans. He could no longer control his body as he rolled his hips, trying to impale himself further on his lieutenants tongue.
My god, anyone could walk in at any moment and see me like this, thrusting against my lieutenants mouth while he tongue-fucks me… I can’t even close my legs, they’re wide open for anyone to see… Byakuya thought. It was the last thing he thought however, as Renji reached up and began pumping his erection quickly. The noble lost any and all ability to form coherent words or even be embarrassed about the fact that he was babbling and moaning like virgin in heat. The closest thing he came to words were noises that sounded a lot like Renji, please, and oh god. The red head sped up, thrusting his tongue into his captain while pumping him so fast, Byakuya felt like he was being milked.
“R-Renji, Renji, Renji, oh god, I-I’m coming~! I’m coming~! Ahaaaaah~!!!!” The noble felt himself spurting thick white semen all over his lieutenants hair. Renji pulled away from his taicho’s cheeks and the noble shot a second load all over his face.
“Gah! Taicho, y’got me right in the eye!” Renji said. He wiped some of the spunk on his face off and brought it too his lips.
“Bleh! You’re really thick! You really should masturbate more, captain… Captain…?” Renji said in slight concern. Byakuya was panting, cheeks heavy with a blush.
“Untie me now, Abarai.” He said.
“Er… Y-yes, Taicho.” The red head did as he was told, releasing his captain from his restraints. Byakuya refused to look at his lieutenant as he stood, rubbing his wrists.
“Clean up and get out of my sight.”
