*That Day*
” Zayn.” Startled he opened his eyes still not believing that he had managed to do that. Liam heard him. He came like he promised. An energy wave ripped through him as Liam wrapped his arms around him, completely enveloping him in the scent that could only be described as Liam himself. Calmness washed over him making him go lax against his alpha’s chest. His Alpha. A part of him still couldn’t believe it.
” There are apples on it.” Said Liam as he broke the hug. Zayn tilted his head to look at the tree beside him which was littered with ripe apples that he could swear weren’t there when he had come. But then again it was only yesterday that Liam wasn’t his mate and now he was. Today everything was possible.
” And I’m still younger than you.” They compared their marks which now had apples on the tree instead of the flowers he had seen just an hour ago. A chuckle left him as he thought about how much they had grown since their casual conversations about the tree and how some things still hadn’t changed. Tilting his head to look at his mate he followed his brown eyes to the journal he had pressed against his hand. Jerking the little notebook he opened the last page pointing to the box that had a yes underneath it.
Zayn’s heart did a three sixty when Liam jumped pumping his fist in the air like a goof. The goof he had fallen for.
” You’re my mate,” Zayn giggled as Liam wrapped his arms around him, exhilarated.
” You’re my mate.” He copied his mate’s tone.
” We’re mates!” Liam shouted, his smile so big that Zayn thought it’d break his face in half. A series of chuckles passed the omega’s lips as he was twirled around, following a surprised gasp when their lips collided. The kiss was more intense than any of the others they had shared. Zayn could feel Liam, not just on his lips but in his mind and heart and it was possibly the best feeling he had ever experienced.
As they broke apart and their eyes met there was a peace they felt in each other’s presence that they hadn’t felt in ages.
At last, everything had fallen into place and the puzzle was solved.

I’m crying and this isn’t even the first time. This book came to me when I was laying around in bed one night. My take on a royalty, A/B/O and soulmates AU! My sister gave me the idea of that attachment point and she reminded that to me every time I updated this book. She’s great like that.
