“Hannah you can head home now, all close the store now” I said to my friend Hannah. Hannah works for my clothing store “Drop Dead” which I care about. I was so happy, that my manager let me have three months off to focus on my clothing store as long as I wrote new songs for the upcoming album. Am in a band called Bring Me The Horizon.
“Thanks Oli. All see you next week, I have to do a photo shoot in Arizona” she said as she hugged me. “Oh cool. Have fun” I said as I closed the cash register. “You should come, I heard their were hot guys in Arizona” she said as she smirked at me.
“Thanks Hannah, but not thanks. I think I don’t wanna be in a relationship at this moment,” I said.
“Oliver, I know your hurt by Josh cheating on you, but you gotta move o-”
“I have move on, but I don’t wanna be in a relationship at this moment since I broke up with him like 2 days ago” I said as I cut her off. She sighed. I broke up with my boyfriend because he was only using me for fame or to get notice, he even cheated on me.
“Well alright. Bye goodnight” she said a she hugged me and walked away. I made sure everything in the shop was closed. Once everything was checked, I grabbed my stuff and left. As, I got outside to go to my car, I heard something coming from an alley, I looked into the alley and saw a tall guy looking down at someone as he pinned them to the wall, the other person had a hoodie on and I couldn’t tell who it was.
“I-I don’t any money” the person said who was against the wall. “P-please don’t hurt me” they said.
“Well…” the tall guy said. “Why don’t you give me your body” he said as he put his hand on the other persons ass, the other person let out a whimper. “P-please let me go!” They persons said as the tall guy started to kiss the other person neck I guess. Why was I standing here, it could have been a girl?!
“Hey!” I said as I walked towards them, the tall guy saw me and left running making the person fall to the floor.
“A-are you ok?” I asked it. “F-fine, thanks.” They looked up at me, it was a boy with the most cutest bluish greenish eyes and pink lips.
“Here let me help you up” I said as I got up and helped the boy up, he stumbled to get up, but I got him almost into a hug. He pushed away as I saw him almost blush.
“S-sorry” he said as he looked away. He didn’t have an accent he sounded American.
“What’s your name and how old are you?” I asked him.
“Am K-Kellin am 18. And you a-are?” He asked as he looked at me.
“Am Oliver, Oliver Sykes am 22” I said as I got my hand out to shake it. He grabbed my hand shyly and shook, he took away his hand away quickly.
“What is a young lad like you, doing here in the middle of the night? These Sheffield streets can be dangers to be outside at this hour” I said to him as he looked at me. God his eyes were adorable, he almost looked like a cat.
“I was j-just walk around and-and you know exploring that’s all” he said as he looked down. “Are you from here?” I asked him. “N-no am from Chicago. I just came here for a fresh start” Kellin said.
“Oh well cool. Were do you live all drove you home” I offered him as I walked to my car.
“Oh you don’t have to, I don’t have a home. I sleep in one o-of the parks h-here” he said as he looked down. Pour guy he was shacking, scared and cold. I don’t wanna leave him here in rev street he might get hurt or even worse get touched by a guy.
“Thanks” he said as he walked away stuffing his hands in his pockets. “Wait Kellin!” I called to him he turned around and walked back to me. “Wu don’t you stay with me? Until I can figure out something for you?” I said to him.
“Oliver thank you, but no thank you I don’t think you want a stranger who you just met, stay with you. Thanks, but no” he said as he walked away. God I wanted him to stay with me. I grabbed his arm to stop walking away from me. “Please, until I can figure out something for you” I said. Kellin looked at me for a while, until he gave me a small smile.
“Ok” he said, I smiled back and walked him to my car. I opened the door for him, he got in and I closed it and went into the car as well and drove off into the road.
“So what did you mean by fresh start?” I asked Kellin.
“Oh well, when I was 12 my parent died and I lived with my grandparents, they died three months ago. I was basically alone didn’t have any siblings, so I just decided to spend the money I had to buy me a plane ticket to move here. And come to find out that I didn’t have any money so yeah…” He said as he looked down.
“How long have you been in Sheffield?”
“For about 3 days” Kellin said. Pour guy he must of had nothing to eat or nothing to wear.
“Am sorry to hear that” I said to him.
“No it’s fine, you should know about me since your bringing me to your house.” He said with a smile. God I could keep looking at him with that smile.
“Were here” I said to him as I parked in the drive way. “Wow you live here?” He asked as he looked at my house or more likely my mansion. “Yeah and just three dogs” I said as I got out the car. We walked to the front door as I took my keys out, “I warn you, they love to lick new people” I said to him as I smiled. I unlocked the door and turned on the lights. “Wow” he said. I chuckled. We heard barking and come my dogs. “Hey boys!” I said as I bent over to pet them.
They were jumping all excitingly. “Their cute” Kellin said as he bent down to pet them. The dogs starters to jump on Kellin and lick his face, he chuckled.
“Let me show you around,” I told him. He nodded and got up we walked around the house with the dogs following us. “Here we have the kitchen, you can help to whatever you want don’t be afraid to get anything. Pool is outside and th-”
“Oh my god!” He cut me off as he away my piano in the living room. I chuckled, “you play?” I asked him as he sat down. “Yeah a little” he said as he smiled to me, he was about to touch the keys but stopped and got off the chair.
“Am sorry, I didn’t mean to touch your piano” he said as he looked down. My smile faded away as he looked down. “Hey it’s ok, if their is anything you see in the house you like, you can touch it dint be shy. Make yourself at home” I so as to him. He looked up and smiled.
“T-thank you. I don’t know how I can repay you for how kind you are” Kellin said to me. I smiled and nodded.
“You don’t have to” I said. “Alright, let me show you to the guess bedroom,” Kellin followed me upstairs along with the dogs. “Alright here it is. Let me get you some clothes” I said as I went to my room, I was trying to find anything his size, but lucky I found one of my drop dead clothes that looked almost his sized, I grabbed one of my pajama pants and walked back to the guest room. “Here you are and feel free to use the shower.” I said to him as he grabbed the clothes he looked at the shirt.
“Drop Dead?” He asked with a smile. “I own a clothing store called drop dead, maybe I can take you there tomorrow to check it out.” I said. He smiled.
“Thank you for everything, Oliver” Kellin said. “Your welcome Kellin, alright all let you sleep all see you tomorrow. Come on dogs” I said as I was about to walk out, but the dogs didn’t follow.
“Come on boys” I said to them they still stayed.
“It’s ok, they can sleep with me o you don’t mind?” Kellin asked. I chuckled, “yeah sure. Good night” I said as I closed the door.
“Night” he said. I walked to my room and took off my shirt and pants and went to turn off the lights. As I laid down, I was trying to figure out what I was going to do with Kellin I don’t wanna see him homeless. There better be something I can do for him.

I got out the shower and put on the clothes Oliver gave me, I laughed as I saw the drop dead shirt on me. I went into the room to see two dogs laying down on the floor, the third one laying on the bed. I went to turn off the light, I got into bed and the dog laid it’s head on my chest, I pet his head as of slept.
I grabbed my phone that left on the night stand that was next to the bed, I called my friend Alan.
“Hello” it sounded like his boyfriend Austin
“Austin?” I said as I whispered.
“Kellin oh my god! You ok?!” He asked.
“Yeah am fine, can I talk to Alan?”
“Sure, let me get him.” I waited until I heard Alan’s voice.
“Kellin are you ok?!”
“Alan am fine. Am actually in a strangers home” I said to him.
“My god Kellin, this better not be a guy” he said as he sighed.
“It is, but he saved me from a guy male sting me”
“Are you ok?!”
“Yeah am fine, I thanked him for saving me and asked me questions about where I was from I told him, that I didn’t have any money or anywhere to live so he let me stay in his house” I said as I touched the dogs head.
“Kellin please be careful. I love you”
“I love you to Al. Alan where’s the money?”
“Sorry Kellin, I was trying to send it to you but I was worried that they might find out where you are” he said I sighed.
“That’s ok. Send it to me when you think it’s safe, just call me when you send the money.”
“Ok. Kellin stay low and please be safe I don’t want him to fin-”
“I know Alan, I don’t want him to find me. Look I gave to go bye I love you and Alan”
“Bye we love you to” I hanged up the phone and went to sleep. Am so worried about Alan and Austin, I just hope they don’t hurt them just to look for me. I sighed as I fell asleep.
