Oliver so nice, for letting me get clothes for free, this was really too much. I kept on looking at clothes as I felt my phone ringed I look around to see if Oliver wasn’t around, he was at the front greeting people and taking pictures with them. I saw a dressing room next to me, why not go in there. I got in with the clothes just to make it seem like am trying on clothes and closed the door as I looked at my phone, Alan was calling me.
“Hey Al” I said, as I looked at the black jeans I got.
“Kellin it’s Austin” it kinda got me confused why Austin called me.
“Hey Aust what’s up?” I asked him kinda worried.
“Well I got some bad news and good news” he said. My heart started to beat quickly.
“Austin did they come by the house again?! Where Alan?!” I said as I panicked!
“Kellin! Calm down, no they did not and Alan’s ok.”
I sighed, “then what is it?” I asked him.
“Alan’s pregnant” he said, I gasped as I smiled. “Austin am so happy for you guys!”
“Thanks, we found out yesterday and came to the hospital to see if everything was ok with him and the baby.” I was just full of happiness right now, I knew how much Alan wanted a kid and now finally he gets to have one with someone he loves.
“That’s great…what’s the bad news?” I asked him.
“The money we were gonna send you, well we need it. Look am sorry Kellin, since Alan and I are gonna have a baby we need money, to by stuff for the baby, even pay for the hospital bills.” Austin did have a point, they needed the money more then I do, sure I maybe in danger, but I can get the money some other way, they needed it.
“Austin that’s ok, you guys need the money then I do, all get it some other way. Take care of Alan and the baby.” I said to him.
“Thanks Kells, well I got to go. Bye take care of yourself.” He said.
“Bye.” I hanged up and sighed, my best friends were going to have a baby, but it just got to me…will I ever get to see their baby if I ever go back to Chicago? I know, that if I ever go back there is no running away again. I sighed, as I grabbed one of the shirts I got. The shirts here a drop dead were amazing, am actually amazed that Oliver created all these clothes, Oliver is really cool guy and kind.

“Oliver where’s Kellin?” Hannah asked me as she was giving a costumer cash. I looked around, I didn’t see Kellin anywhere, “maybe he’s in the dressing room?” Hannah said. I nodded and walked my way to the dressing room, I looked under and saw no one was in there, but I found another dressing room and looked under to see it was Kellin torn up shoes. I should give him the blasphemy black boots we have here in drop dead. “Was he in there?” Hannah asked me as I got the shoes to show Kellin.
“Yeah he’s in there, am gonna bring these to him to see if he likes these” I said as I walked back to the dressing room, as I got there I just walked in without knocking,
“He Kellin d-” I paused as I saw Kellin take off a shirt, Kellin’s back was all bruised up and had cuts. Kellin saw me and put back the shirt on quickly. I looked away, “am sorry I should have knocked”
“That’s o-ok” he said. I looked back up at him, he looked really cute in one of the drop dead shirts. “That’s a nice s-shirt you picked out,” I said nervously as I put my hand through my hair.
“Thanks I-I really like all the shirts you designed” he said as he gave me a small smile. “Oh umm, I brought you these to see if you would like them.” I handed the boots to Kellin, “just tell me what’s your shoes size and all get a p-”
“Oliver I really appreciate all that you are doing for me, but this is all too much. Thanks, but no thanks.” Kellin handed the boots back to me, but I grabbed Kellin’s black torn up vans, to see the size. “Ok an 8 it is” I said as I grinned to him. Kellin sighed, “Oliver really I have shoes I don’t nee-” I grabbed Kellin’s other shoes and went the register.
“Hannah get me an 8 for the blasphemy and throw these away please” I said to Hannah as I handed her Kellin’s shoes.
“Oh god. Ok all get them out.” Hannah said as she look at the shoes in disgust, I laughed and turned around to see Kellin coming to the the register looking a little mad.
“Really Oliver?” He said, I just laughed. Hannah came back with the boots and I told her to put the clothes Kellin got, in a bag. “Here put them on” I said to Kellin, as I handed him the boots. Kellin got the first one and bent down to put them on, but he yelped in pain.
“Are you alright, mate?” Hannah asked him. Kellin looked at me and Hannah, we both had worried faces on us.
“Umm yeah! Am sorry I just-just didn’t sleep right tonight in bed, I-I fell off the bed while I was sleeping!” Kellin said as he faced smiled and chuckled. Could it be, that his back is bruised up?
“Here all put them on for you” I said as I bent down and put the shoes on him and tied the up.
“Do they fit?”
“Umm yeah they fit, thank you so much Oliver” he said as I got up, I just couldn’t take my eyes off of him.
“Here you go Kellin” Hannah said as she pushed the bag towards Kellin. “Oh thank you Hannah,” Hannah smiled and nodded. As Kellin smiled, his smiled faded as he saw something.
“You guys are looking for people to be work here?” Kellin asked, oh so that what he was looking at. Drop Dead needed more people, we need more help around here.
“Yeah we need help here” Hannah said as she leaned against the counter.
“Can-can I apply?” Kellin asked. “It’s just that I wanna get money so I can have my own place and maybe pay you back for, what you have done for me Oliver” Kellin said as he smiled to me, then blushed.
“Yeah sure you can. I can interview you tomorrow I would today, but Oliver and I planned to take you out to show you around Sheffield” Hannah said happily.
“We were?” I said, Hannah never told me.
“Yes we are. Grace take over for me please and thank you!” Hannah yelled to one do our employees grace, that was folding clothes. “Yeah sure! Have a good day!” Grace said as she ran over to the register. Hannah grabbed Kellin’s hand and we started to walk outside.
Outside seemed a bit chilly today, but fine weather you could see cars passing and people with their children walking happily. “Ok we going to a little cafe, that’s five blocks away” Hannah said. We all started to walk, then Kellin spoke.
“I like all the employees their, is that the dress code have your body covered up with tattoos?” Kellin asked as he chuckled.
“No really, but drop dead is an example of that its ok to look weird without anyone carrying. Plus you’ll see more people there, and don’t worry they’ll like you” Hannah said. Kellin sighed and smiled.
We made it to the cafe, we all got in the cafe seemed a little small and a few people we in here. “Okay, get whatever you like Kellin it’s on me” Hannah said as we went to order. “Hi can we get two teas and…” Hannah paused as she looked at Kellin.
“Oh-oh all just get hot chocolate” Kellin said.
“And a hot chocolate” Hannah said as she payed the women and we went to take a seat.
“So Kellin is there any places you wanna go?” I asked Kellin, as a person came to bring us a tray of cookies and small cake.
“Oh well I don’t know, I don’t know much of Sheffield, but I would be happy to go wherever you guys take me.” Kellin smiled as he looked at the tray.
“Wow these look good” Kellin said as his eyes lit up. Hannah grabbed a small cake and handed it to Kellin, Kellin took a bit and moaned a little. “This is real good.” Kellin said as he smiled. He looked really happy.
We are some of the cookies and cake as our drinks came, as I was drinking my tea Hannah spilled her tea on her.
“Oh great!” Hannah said as she got a napkin. “All get you another o-”
“Kellin can you do me a favor and buy me another tea?” Hannah said as she handed him money.
“Of course.” Kellin got up and waited in line. “Really I could have got it for you, instead of sending Kellin to get it”
I said to her as she looked at me and crossed her hands over her chest.
“I sent him, cause I need to talk to you”
“Why?” I asked.
“How do you get hurt so badly from falling off a bed, that you can’t even bend down?” Hannah asked me. She must be asking cause how Kellin couldn’t bend over earlier today.
“I don’t know, but I do know when you fall off you don’t get a purple, bluish bruise and cuts almost all over your back” I said, as Hannah’s eyes lit up in shock.
“As I was going to show him the shoes, Kellin took off his shirt and he was completely bruised up Hannah” as said as a felt bad for Kellin, there was something about Kellin that he wouldn’t tell me. Maybe something happened in his past?
“Oliver, I get that your helping him, but there is something that Kellin isn’t telling you, or me. Oliver what if his parents abused him and maybe ran away here just to be safe?” Hannah said.
“You do have a point, but Kellin told me that his parents died when he was young” I said.
“Oliver are you sure?”
Things we running in my head, but I do know Kellin wouldn’t lie to me, I don’t even know him that much I basically let a stranger in my house, but I wanted it help him. And if Kellin is telling me the truth about him, then I can trust him, but I will still ask him questions about him even if he doesn’t like them.
