I ran right over to the phone and ran into my room “hey” I said out of breath. He was silent for a second but then said “hey” I laid down and sighed “well I wanted to talk to you. Actually I wanted to see you but I had to get your mom and your permission” I thought of many reasons of if I should or shouldn’t. “Today?”
“No! Um I meant tomorrow. Your bedtime is soon also I know you have to make a Pros and cons list” he chuckled while I stayed silent. It’s the smartest way to make a good decision. What’s so funny. “Sorry” he sighed “well I’ll see you tomorrow? Maybe?” He sounded slightly hesitant
“Yeah I’ll see you tomorrow” he gasped “you didn’t make a pros or cons list? Are you sick” I tilted my head “what does being sick have anything to do with a pros or cons list” he chuckled slightly “nothing I’ll see you tomorrow, bud”
I whined “you know I don’t like that nickname” he chuckled a little “sorry. Bye” I smirked “I’ll see you tomorrow” he ended the call. I proceeded to give back the phone and went back upstairs to change into my pajamas.
I brushed my teeth and went into my room as I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes as I slowly fell asleep. *the next day* as the alarm set off I turned it off and got up. I took a shower and as soon I was down I brushed my teeth as doctors recommended.
I walked downstairs and put eggs on the frying pan. My mom usually cooks dinner but I didn’t feel like eating my mother’s food. As I finished eating I cleaned all of the dishes and placed the dishes in the right area. I heard a knock on the door.
I walked right over to the door and saw Lucas “hey I’m sorry for being here early” I shook my head “I’d prefer you don’t do that” he sighed “can I come in” I nodded my head.
He walked in as I slowly closed the door. He took off his shoes and placed it where the others were. He then sat down on the couch. “So um Victor” I sat down next to him “I realized that I can’t stand a day without you” he paused “I miss you” he scooted closer “what does that mean”
“I-I really REALLY don’t think I can be without you” he scooted close enough to the point where our noses almost touched “c-can I kis-”
I then heard a yawn and looked to the stairs to see her stretching half asleep. Nate scooted away from me which left me cold. “Hey boys what are you up to”
“Hey I was just about to leave” Nate said. I tilted my head “but you just got here?” He chuckled nervously “sorry I have homework” he got up and put on his shoes “but it’s summer!” My mom yelled as he ran out.
“Honey, what happened” I shrugged. She sighed “he’ll be back..” she yawned once more “we’ll have you wrote your letter to the doctor” I shook my head “well got onto it honey before you forget” I sighed “mom, I won’t forget”
She groaned “just go and write it and I’ll get you a milkshake” I thought about it for a moment “it’ll be chocolate” I gasped and ran upstairs.
-Dear Doctor,-
Lately it has gotten even more weird. Lucas was about to ask something before my mother walked in and interrupted. He panicked and ran off. I’ve missed him lately he doesn’t seem like himself. His hair has grown longer and he’s getting tall. I want him to get a haircut but my mom said it’s impolite. And if he gets any taller. He won’t be able to fit in our treehouse. Meaning that we’d have to build a new one. And I don’t feel like dealing with splinters for a week. That’s it.
Sincerely, Vincent.
