I was patrolling the forest when I smelled grass and a camping smell
It was the best smell I’d ever smelled
It was my mate
I decided not to follow it as my mate could be human and would freak out if it saw a wolf following it
I’m going to keep my distance for now
My wolf sulked as I walked back to the pack house
“Jacey” called my baby sister Lexi
“Hey Lexi have you been a good girl while I was gone” I asked picking her up and she nodded “that’s good you wanna go to the play area in town tomorrow” i asked already knowing the answer
“Yes please jacey” she answered
“Ok come on bed time” I said carrying her up the stairs to her room
“Nightey nightey” she said before closing her eyes and drifting to sleep
