A V x Jungkook story…
“What?!? Kookie cannot perform?” V was the most agitated one among the members when their manager told them that due to the organiser’s fault, Jungkook is unable to perform during the Golden Disk Award 2015 due to the lack of performance visa. (I googled it ^^)
Bangtan arrived at China yesterday night and today they woke up early to get prepared before proceeding to the performance venue and that’s when they heard this shocking news. They were gathered at a hotel room when their manager announced.
Their manager explained, “This happened to other groups like Got7 and BEAST too and by the time we found out, it’s already too late to apply a visa for Jungkook as the performance is tonight.”
“So what’s the plan now?” the leader asked.
“I guess we’ll have to perform without Jungkook,” their manager shrugged his shoulders, followed by the sighs coming from the members.
“How could we perform without Kookie? He have so many parts in our song and Bangtan cannot do without him!” Jimin cried.
“This is the first time we encountered such problem but I’m sure the organizers also didn’t predicted it,” J-hope continued.
Jungkook did not utter a word, he simply sat at the corner of the bed with his head hung down. Worried, V quickly sat beside him and consoled him, “Don’t worry, I bet there’s definitely a way out.”
“Should we just all not perform?” V suggested but was instantly rejected by the leader.
After a minute of silence, Jungkook took a deep breath and broke the silence. He said with a smile, “Don’t worry hyung, I’m fine with not performing. Although I really want to perform on such a big stage, there’s nothing I can do about it. And the rest of you have to stand on the stage on my behalf and do Bangtan proud!”
The hyungs smiled too upon seeing how positive Jungkook is coping with the situation but there’s one more issue to solve. “Who’s gonna take Jungkook’s part?” Suga asked.
J-hope counted, “There’s his rapping part and two chorus; our dance formation have to do some adjustments as well.”
“Why not we don’t sing Kookie’s part?” Jimin suggested and the members looked at him with a big question mark on their faces. “What I mean was – if we’re gonna have someone to fill up Kookie’s part, this means that in Bangtan, Kookie is replaceable and we certainly do not wish to give others such impression right? So…during Kookie’s part, we should just dance and play the audio of Kookie’s voice.”
Feeling that Jimin’s theory actually made sense, the other members nodded their head in agreement and told their manager the plan.
“Okay then, you guys have five more minutes to prepare before the van comes, see you at the hotel lobby,” their manager announced before the members went back to their respective rooms to get their bags.
Being roommates for this trip, the two maknaes walked into their room in silence, holding hands. Jungkook was obviously depressed by the fact that he’s unable to perform and no matter how he fake his smile, his boyfriend knows that deep down in his heart, he’s not feeling well.
“Don’t be so gloomy jagi,” V said as he brushed some hair as from Jungkook’s sad face.
“I just can’t help it. Not being able to perform with you guys and…not being able to be by your side for at least 10 hours,” Jungkook sighed.
“Who says you can’t see me for 10 hours? I’m gonna video call you every hour when I reached the performance venue!”
“Wae? That’s too troublesome.”
“How is that troublesome? I will definitely miss you and how can I possibly live for not being able to see you for so many hours. You’re my motivation and energy booster to perform well on stage and for the sake of our ARMYs who will be coming today, you better make me happy in order for me to do well.”
“But I already have plans…”
“What?!?”
“I planned to visit some tourist attractions and eat my favourite Peking Duck today.”
“How could you do this to us? Your hyungs are gonna work hard performing and you, you’re gonna have fun by your own?!?”
“Do you expect me to sit in the hotel room, cry for hours, waiting for y’all to come back? I need to make good use of my time here despite not being able to perform.”
“Aish this kid!! This gives me one more reason to video call you every hour and report to me where you went and make sure that you don’t go and flirt with some girls out there!” V stressed as he ruffled Jungkook’s hair.
Despite looking agitated on the outside, V was actually relieved that Jungkook was not badly affected by the shocking news. He went up and gave his boyfriend a goodbye hug, “I will miss you Kookie.”
“Me too hyung.”
“And be sure to answer my call!” V smiled as he pinched Jungkook’s nose.
Four hours later…
V’s POV
“Jal-hae-sseo-yo!” their manager complimented Bangtan as he led us back to the waiting room. Without Jungkook, we have to make some changes in our dance formation to fix the emptyness on stage. And because of that, our rehearsal went on for about one plus hour. Drenched in my sweat, I jumped onto the sofa in the waiting room and took out my phone. Expecting many messages from my Kookie, I unlocked my phone to see zero notification.
Disappointed, I immediately went to a empty corner and video called him. After a few rings, he picked out.
“Jungkook ah! Where are you?”
“I’m at…errr…I don’t know.”
“What? Are you lost? How did you-“
“Aniyo hyung. I’m at one of the flea market, shopping. There’s so many interesting stuffs here!”
“Aish, how could you be enjoying yourself while I’m here sweating like crazy.”
“Keke…how was the rehearsal?”
“It was tiring than before, many changes were made.”
“Haha see, Bangtan can’t do without ME!”
“But you seem to be coping well WITHOUT ME! Zero message from you after four hours? Did you forgot about me?”
“Aniyo hyung! I was just busy exploring this city.”
“I miss you alot.”
“Me too hyung…but don’t worry, missing me makes you love me more.”
“What kind of logic is that?”
“It’s legit! Without me, you will find that your life is so boring and soon, I will become one of the ‘neccessary’ in your life.
Jungkook’s POV
“Kookie we’re back!!” Jimin shouted as he burst through V and Jungkook’s hotel room door. Jungkook was watching the television when he’s favourite hyung jumped onto him and hugged him tightly. Followed Jimin was the other five members who looked super exhausted.
“How was it hyungs?” Jungkook asked his members who were half asleep, showing a blank expression.
“It was so fun!!” the most energetic member Jimin answered.
“The stage was so big and many ARMYs came too,” V continued.
Seeing his tired hyungs, Jungkook immediately went to the wardrobe to bring out six big shopping bags and passed it to each of them. “Here are some gifts for you guys hyungs!!” he smiled.
Instantly, everybody’s eyes opened wide and sparkled at the sight of the wonderful gifts the maknae bought. Jin received a pink bag; Suga with headphones; RM had sunglasses; J-hope had accessories and Jimin got caps. And for his beloved boyfriend, V got a super huge bag filled with food.
“Uri Kookie jjang!!” J-hope cheered and tried on his gift.
“Says the one who was blaming Kookie for leaving us behind and have fun on his own at the waiting room,” Suga exposed.
Jin continued, “It’s so sweet of you to buy stuffs for us Kookie.”
“Where did you went Kookie? Taehyung told us that you went shopping over around the city,” RM asked.
“Ne hyung. It’s so interesting here!! We should explore together tomorrow!”
“Wait a minute,” Jin interrupted their conversation as he dashed towards V, or I should say V’s bag of food, “why does Taehyung get the best stuff among us?? It’s like a month supply of food!”
Everybody immediately gathered in front of V’s present while V went up to give Jungkook a hug tightly. “I know you love me the best!!” V chuckled as he looked proudly at the other members.
“Fine…you two don’t need to show off your love in front of us…” Suga complained.
“Then how about me?” Jimin cried and went to hide behind J-hope.
The leader giggled at how dramatic his bandmates was, and said, “Kookie ah, do you know how much we miss you today? Especially Taehyung! He was soooo quiet today and always looking at his phone for your message.”
“Ah hyung! Why are you making me sound like I can’t live without Kookie?” V pouted as he covered his embarrassed face.
“Isn’t that true?? I’m one of the most important one in your survival tool!” Jungkook exclaimed as he ruffled his hyung’s hair.
“Argh,” J-hope grumbled, “I can’t stand this two love birds; let’s go back to our rooms and leave them alone.”
And so, the rest of Bangtan went back to their respective rooms, leaving with V, still hugging Jungkook tightly.
“I’m gonna die of suffocation if you’re gonna hold me like that forever,” Jungkook whined.
“But I really miss you a lot a lot.”
“It’s just merely a day…”
“It’s ten hours!! Do you know how hard was it to cope? It’s like living with no oxygen…”
“Kekeke, I didn’t know I was that important.”
“Shall we….” Taehyung gave Jungkook a seductive look as his hands crawled under the maknae’s shirt.
“Hyung…” Jungkook whined, “Didn’t you said that you were very tired?”
“But I really want it!!” V pouted before planting small kisses on his boyfriend’s neck.
“Okay…but take a bath first,” Jungkook ordered as he put his index finger in the middle of V’s lips to stop him from going on.
“Let’s take it together then!” V cheered as pulled Jungkook into the toilet without hesitation.
