A/N: For those who did not read the previous Vhope story, this is the second part of the entire story, now featuring Namjin.
Recap: V and J-hope stayed at home while the others went to the club to celebrate Kookie’s birthday.
A RM x Jin story…
Meanwhile at the club…
While the five boys were gathering at a table drinking their cocktail, two Caucasian girls, who were wearing revealing clothes, approached them.
“*in English* Hey, are y’all locals?” one of them asked.
As RM is the only one in the group who speaks English, he replied, “*in English* Yup! My name is Namjoon, you are…?”
“My name is Natalie and hers is Iris (AHL reference XD) and we’re from America. And wow, you know how to speak English!”
“Yeah, I learnt it myself.”
“Awesome! Do you mind if I buy you a drink?”
“Oh no, I should be the one doing that!” RM showed his killer smile before guiding the two ladies to the bar counter.
The other members looked at the trio, dumbfounded. “Namjoon hyung seems so experienced…” Jungkook pouted.
Jin sighed, “Haish, it’s so good to be able to speak English.”
The music instantly became a pop song and everybody went to the dance floor. RM too, together with the two girls, went to the centre and he showed off his face-crumpling moves.
“Jin hyung, aren’t you gonna do anything?” the maknae asked.
“Do what? What does it have to do with me?” Jin replied and gulped down his drink. Although he did not say anything, it’s quite obvious that Jin was jealous.
Jungkook continued, “You’re the oldest here so you have to keep an eye on RM hyung!”
“I don’t think he needs my supervision. He’s coping just fine with those two bitc- girls I mean.”
“Ayyy hyung, it’s useless sitting here, cursing at those girls. You must make your move and make RM hyung yours!” Jungkook chuckled and pulled Jin to the dance floor.
The moment the two handsome guys reached the crowd, tons of girls gathered around them and started attracting them with their seductive moves.
Jin, who is known as the worst dancer in Bangtan, simply stood there dumbly and occasionally moved his body to the beat. He attempted to do his traffic dance but felt that it wasn’t that appropriate.
After few minutes of awkward dancing, the change of music saved Jin’s life and it is slow dancing. As if it was an unwritten rule, everybody hurriedly grabbed a partner and those who were left out were forced to go back to their tables.
Among the crowd, a girl suddenly took the initiative and hooked her arms around Jin’s neck. “Do you wanna be my partner?”
“Seems like I can’t say no…” Jin smiled and placed his hands gently on her waist.
She was enjoying the song and the dance with her eyes closed, while he was frantically looking for his only love – Rap Monster. After a few rounds of scanning, Jin spotted a white hair guy directly opposite him, hugging a girl, she wasn’t Natalie or Iris, it was a girl he never seen before.
Jin stared hard at RM with the corner of his eyes, mentally cursing him for flirting with so many girls.
“You dance pretty well,” his partner said.
“Thanks.” Jin replied coldly.
“Have I seen you somewhere before? You look kinda familiar.”
“I don’t remember seeing you.”
“You probably don’t but after tonight, I promise that you would never forget me.”
“Stop trying, I’m not interested in you.”
“But I am. And you look damn hot.”
Jin had no mood to entertain this random girl who kept flirting with him. Instead, his eyes were glued on his band member who was having an enjoyable time with his new girl friend. They were so close, with his face almost five inches apart only. And then, she went closer and closer to Namjoon, placing a peck on his cheek.
Jin froze there, inside filled with anger and jealousy. How dare she kiss a guy that she met few minutes ago? And how dare he allow a girl to kiss him so easily? And does nothing about it? Jin couldn’t take it anymore, he pushed his partner away and ran straight to the bathroom.
He looked at his reflection, and his broken heart.
“Kim Namjoon, who are you to break my heart? Who are you to make me go crazy about you? Why must you occupy such an important space in my heart?!?” Jin screamed and boxed the mirror.
“I’m sorry I’m so perfect okay,” a voice came from his right.
He turned to the direction of the sound to find RM standing at the door.
Jin was shocked. Why is he here? Shouldn’t he be flirting with that bitch? And most importantly, did he heard what he said earlier?
As if RM could hear his hyung’s thoughts, he replied coolly, “Ne, I heard it all.”
“Mwo?!?”
“I heard your conversation with Mr Mirror.”
“Ooh…I…I…”
“I guess I’m that attractive?” RM smirked and pinned Jin against the wall.
Jin was breathing heavily, his heart beat was the only voice in between those two. RM had his hands stick to the wall to prevent Jin from escaping. He then went closer to make their noses touch.
“Your dancing just now was horrible hyung.”
“Hey, you got no rights to judge me. Wait…how did you know? You were looking at me?”
“It’s hard to ignore someone who is dancing idiotically among the crowd. And a stare that never leaves my body for a second…”
“I wonder who’s that.”
“Me too. He kept staring at me, getting angry when I talk to other girls, ‘jealousy’ is written big and clearly on his face.”
“But since you know that he’s jealous, why did you still continue flirting?”
“Because it’s fun and that’s what I want him to feel – jealous.”
“Wae?”
“I thought that by flirting with other girls would make him angry and force him to tell me how he feels for me, how he loves me all along. But sadly, he didn’t. He simply ran to the bathroom and rather confess to a mirror instead of me.”
“He was just scared to be rejected.”
“But he didn’t even tried, how does he know that he will definitely get rejected?”
“He tried, he really did. He had planned to confess since many months ago but his hopes were diminishing every second. His love did not show any sign of loving him back.”
“Did I?”
“Didn’t you? You were so into women, knowing almost all the names of girl groups, and the porn you watched…”
“You can’t simply jump to conclusion like that.”
“Jump to what conclusion?”
“Me liking girls. Because the one I like is you.”
“Why…why didn’t you tell me earlier? “
“Because I was waiting for you.”
“I love you Kim Namjoon.”
“I know, I can see that, and since both of us like us other…” RM smiled as he lifted Jin’s chin, closing that mere distance between them.
“Although I expected a longer confession from you hyung…”
“Did you plan this all out?”
“Ani, I just this is fate.”
“So do you like how it ended?”
“Not at this junction. Ever love story ends with a kiss…”
“You mean…”
RM did not reply, he only placed his index finger on his hyung’s lips, muting him.
Their lips met and so did their hearts. They could hear their heart beating crazier than the party outside. They were enjoying this atmosphere. The sudden confession, this sudden kiss…was totally not expected…but glad it happened 😉
