Hi, HACG Philippines! New member here. So lately, I had unsafe sex with my ex-boyfriend, and I know it is something I would describe as jumping off a cliff, will I fall on water or break my bones? We’re both drunk kasi. I am the top. To wrap up the story, two days after our sex, I felt an itch na hindi ko maintindihan, na kung nasa loob ba or sa labas. Sa labas, I can’t find the itch naman. And kapag nagmamasturbate ako, I don’t feel the pleasure na because of the feeling na parang mayrong something in my genital.
Later on, I’ve conducted research regarding STI/STD. Nagpositive ako ‘don sa isang symptom na may transparent secretion na lumalabas sa genital na may foul odor (smell na parang ‘di tuli). So I was alarmed na STI nga siya.
These are the things I’ve researched about the classifications of STI, which includes; Gonorrhea, Syphillis, and Chalymidia (correct me with the spelling. Lol).
Immediately, I sought medical attention with my bestfriend’s friend. He is a nurse in a public provincial hospital. He concluded na it’s gonorrhea/tulo, based from the symptoms I’ve told him. Sabi niya, wala namang shanker sa genital area (correct me if I’m wrong again), sabi niya yung wound na hindi magaling galing or kung gumaling man, lilipat. I told him none. Pero I had malapit sa elbow. Hindi siya wound, pero parang may tumubo na may bump at makati.
Immediately, binigyan niya ako ng medication. Tinurukan niya ako ng 2g of antibiotic (like the pain of fluid when injected is not tolerable, really) , and nagtetake ako ng Doxy…. something. It’s my 4th day of medication and the symptoms don’t show anymore.
Here is my question:
Nakuha ko ba yung STI because unsafe or carrier siya?
