TEAM ARROW BUNKER
Drake Lance
I walk into the bunker and enter the medical room to find Slade taking off his blood soaked bandage around his body with the TV on. The TV is on the news channel speaking about terrorist and how Superman stopped them with Lois Lane’s upcoming documentary on it. I look over at Slade and stay back keeping my distance from him.
Last night was strange, but today, it’s a new day. Slade walks around the room shirtless and I notice his wound is healed completely. I stop worrying about his health and he stares at me questioning why I came. I needed answers.
“I brought you a new shirt.” I say and he looks at me and I throw it at him and he catches it. Slade begins to put the shirt on over his toned and scarred body and I cross my arms.
“Is that all you came here for?” He says starring at me and Ollie told me stories when he was on the island, about everything. He mentioned that when he arrived on the island, that Slade trained and helped him survive.
“What was he like on the island?” I ask Slade speaking up about their past hoping to find some sort of way to connect with Slade. He then looks at me being uncleared with the topic. “Ollie?”
“He was driven, brave, and fearless. When we were on the island he would’ve done anything to find a way, he even tried to help me when I was injected with the Mirakuru.”
“I never got to tell him I was sorry, for all the damage I caused to him.” He says regretting about holding his grudge.
“What was he like? Under the hood?” He says and I grab a hold of Ollie’s ring around my neck and press it against my lips.
“More than just a man.” I say and stare at Slade. “He was stubborn, arrogant, but most of all, loving. He held this city on his shoulders everyday. His final wish was that he only had more time in the world for us.” I say still remembering the night he died crystal clear. I can’t let it go.
“When we were on the island, he never mentioned you. But it must’ve been because the universe never brought you two together yet. But to see you now, here with his ring. He must’ve loved you a lot. He took his life to save you.” He says and I feel selfish, I left Star City, I let this place get bad again. Ollie died to save me and the city, and I did nothing to pay him back for it.
“BREAKING NEWS, THE HALL OF JUSTICE IS ON FIRE. THERE IS NO KNOWN REASON AS TO WHY AND WE ARE GETTING NUMEROUS REPORTS THAT RA’S AL GHUL HAS BEEN FREED FROM THE PRISON. I’VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT BEFORE IN MY LIFE! COULD THIS BE A TERRORIST ATTACK?!” I hear the anchor woman speak loudly and I turn towards the TV to see the Hall Of Justice in debris and on fire. I clench my jaw nervous knowing something must’ve happened terribly. I feel a part of me die a little knowing some of my most loved items are in the building. Oliver’s Green Arrow suit.
“I need to go.” I say to Slade and walk out of the room fast and take out the teleporter from my pocket and press on the button as it automatically teleports me there. The teleporter teleports me into the middle of the building and a giant rock almost falls on me as I throw myself to the side dodging it. I need to get to my office and get the suit.

Hall Of Justice
I run to the office jumping through every fire there is and over debris until I get to my office to find it destroyed. I see all my posters burning in the fire and find Oliver’s Green Arrow suit. I find it that it’s still in the glass case and I create a small whistle using my canary cry and the glass shatters. I take the suit out of the mannequin and run out of the office knowing that’s all I need from here. Nothing else here matters.
I quickly run out of the building and jump out from a window and land on the yard and stare at the building as it continues to collapse. Suddenly another explosion in the building goes off and the entire building collapses and turns into nothing but fire and rubble.
I clench my jaw knowing that something isn’t right. This was an attack and I would do anything to help the League. I look around me and see other League members dragging each other out of the building as they rest on the ground and I see the ones that can fly, fly into the building to rescue the others and attempt to put out the fire.
I walk towards the other league members like Huntress as she lays on the ground. She rips out an arrow from her shoulder and throws it to the ground and I notice how similar it looks. I grab the arrow and realize it’s the Ghost’s. He took Helena down, another one of Oliver’s past.
“Helena!” I yell and run towards her as she breathes heavily with blood coming out of her mouth. I get down to the floor and lay her body on me and remove her hair from her face caring for her. “What happened?” I ask her and she looks at me and breathes more heavy scared of me. She begins to scream a little and I try to comfort her. “Helena it’s just me!”
“Get away from her Drake!” I hear Vixen yell loudly at me and I turn around to see Vixen, Hawkman, and Fire starring at me. As they look at me, I notice they’re threatening me with their posture.
“You’ve done enough Damage.” Fire says and a green bright fire lights up on her hand. I leave Helena alone and stand up wanting answers.
“What happened here?” I ask them and they don’t answer me at all. I sense a presence behind me and I look behind to see Wonder Woman flying down with her sword out as she lands a couple feet behind me. “Diana! What’s going on!?” I ask her as I walk towards her and I notice that she looks angry at me. I raise an eyebrow and stop walking and plant myself down in the ground. This isn’t going to be fun.
“You did this…” She says angry and then jumps up in the air with her sword and I get ready for impact. I quickly jump to the side and she smashes the ground leaving a huge mark on the soil. I could’ve been ground beef.
Vixen touches her totem and a gorilla spirit appears and she comes dashes towards me and as she does I quickly jump over her shoulder not wanting hurt her. This has to be some sort of joke.
Fire shoots her fire like a flamethrower and I run dodging the attack. I then run towards her and jump over her and she continues to shoot her fire to burn me. Whatever they think I did, they want me dead. I duck down and block her fire with my silver gauntlets as it slightly burns my skin. I get up and Fire quickly jumps up into the air flying and then flies towards me aiming another blast of flame and I continue to run away from it and jump on the wall and throw myself away from her path.
Fire quickly throws a blast at me and the fire hits me in my shoulder leaving a burnt mark. I fall on the ground and see her flying back up in the sky to finish me and I quickly get up and scream my loudest. “SSSCCCREEEEEEEEEEEEE.” I scream at her and she downs to the floor knocking herself out.
“I didn’t want to hurt any of you, but you leave me no choice.” I say and Vixen quickly jumps towards me and tackles me down and puts her weight on me. “SSSSCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.” I try to scream but it doesn’t work. She smiles at me as if I was in trouble but the League forgets who’s the best fighter. I quickly smash my head towards her skull and she gets knocked down.
I then see Hawkman fly down towards me with his electric mace and I jump away and he smashes it to the ground. I quickly get up and run towards him and kick him in his chin and throw a punch to his face. I then throw kicks and he moves back dodging them as I turn my body all around. He then brings his mace down to put me down, but I get down dodging it and then jump on him grabbing his shoulder and push him down as I smash my knee against his head and jump off him. I land behind him and roll myself back and quickly kick my legs up from the ground as I do a hand stand and feel my boots kick Hawkman in the chin. Hawkman flies towards the ground being knocked out.
I then look at Diana as she stands wielding her sword. I stare at the Amazon and bring my fist up in the air getting ready to take her down. She was like a sister to me, I believed in her and she believed in me.
“You should’ve surrendered Drake.” Diana says and I chuckle at her.
“Since when do I do that?” I say knowing that she should know me better than this. Whatever they think I did, I didn’t, my only way of survival is to take Diana down and leave.
“I’ll show you how.” She says and dashes towards me and swings her sword at me and I duck down dodging it. I come back up with a strong uppercut to her face and throw a hard kick into her rib cage.
“SCCREEEE.” I scream at her and she flies back. Her weapons fall out of hand and she gets up and takes out her lasso. She swings her lasso around and ties it around me and I quickly wrap my leg around it and pull it hard and she flies towards me. I jump into the air and knee her in the face and she lays on the ground but not fully surrendering.
This is my chance to get out.
“I’ll prove it wasn’t me.” I say knowing that Ghost Archer is behind this somehow.
I then grab Ollie’s Green Arrow suit and run away into the woods and destroy everything that associates with the League so that they will never track me. I need to change everything about me now.
