“Ready now?” Mike crossed his arms. “Mhm..” I nod slowly. “Alright, let’s go” He began walking. Axel and Bill followed behind us. I wasn’t proud of what I has just done to Aiden. But what else could I do..? Right when we entered the cafeteria, I took a deep breath and stood up straight. “I have to pretend I’m used to all of this..” I thought. “Jake!!” Cassie walked up to me. I mentally roll my eyes, “H.. Hey” I smile awkwardly. She wrapped her arm around my shoulders. “C-cass-” I turned to her but she cut me off by kissing me. “I hate this.” I close my eyes for a split second. My eyes shot open and I pushed her away, in the most polite way possible –maybe-. I look toward the other side of thw cafeteria. And who do you think is staring back at me?

He seemed to mumble something before running.
My eyes widened as all the voices and sounds around me began to slowly fade out. I wanted to chase after him. Apologize. But is it even the right thing to do? I mean, after all, I did betray him. I betrayed my best friend. I quickly mumbled an excuse and walked out of the cafeteria. As soon as those doors closed, and no one could see me, I ran after him. Clearly, he didn’t hear my footsteps. He ran into the bathroom, and I followed him. He walked to a stall and right when he was going to open it, he stopped. “Ai-Aiden..?!” I stopped walking. “Ca-can we talk?” He didn’t answer. “Aiden? Hello? H-Hi?!” I tried to get his attention.
