The sound of ragged breathing muffled by the sounds of the flowing river below permitted the air. The coldness of the breeze had risen in a massive condition making a lightly dressed person shiver in cold. Smoke can be seen in the air whenever you breath out.
“Haaa….”
A long breath was commensed through the air, resulting to form a smoke into the air. His silver hair had been wet and his pale skin was now pinkish red and eyes a color of golden yellow.
“Get your filthy hands off from my son, you monster!”
The golden yellow irises snapped to the person who just shouted. His eyes were still and not even a hint of shaking. He blankly watched the father of his beloved tried to take a step towards them to snatch Allen away from him.
“I won’t.” Replied Marcus. “I love him.”
“Love?! Are you out of your mind?! Your a toy! a monster! You shouldn’t feel those things. You don’t have a heart.”
His golden irises fell to the limp and pale body that belonged to Allen enclosed safely on his chest. His lips parted a little bit and eyelids heavily closed. Marcus had used himself to warm the cold body of Allen, resulting for his eyes to turn gold when he’s using his power. Marcus can practically do some tricks with his powers, but with greater love and passion that he got from Allen, it became powerful and useful. But despite of that, he doesn’t have the power to cure Allen.
“Shut up. You know nothing of my being.”
“Know nothing?! I practically know who you are. Your a freaking monster.”
Something broke inside Marcus and it made him glare daggers right to the man standing a few meters from them. The man gulp from the stare that he took a step back.
Marcus darted his eyes back to Allen and gently laid him down on the ground. Rain was still pouring so hard and Marcus needs to hurry before he could loose Allen, he could feel him beginning to fade.
“Hold on Allen.” By putting both of his palms on Allens chest, a golden light emitted under it. Marcus was healing Allens weakening soul with his powers.
“Come on Allen, come back!” Just as Marcus yelled, Allen woke up, gasping for air as Marcus held him potectively against his chest. The father who stood before them was shock, so as his wife who was standing a few meters from where her husband stood.
“Allen.” Croaked out Allen’s father.
Allens mother walk to her husband and held his shoulder before her husband could go ballistic over Allen and the thing they recognize as a monster.
“Andrew, no.”
“I have to save our son Claire! Allen’s my only son, I can’t loose him.” He tried to protest but suddenly, a stinging pain erupted on his left cheek which made Andrew froze. Slowly, he lifted his head and looked at his wife with tear stained face but his wife couldn’t see from under the rain. But he knew that his wife has been crying.
“If that thing you call a monster really is a monster, he should have killed our son a long time ago. But you saw Andrew, you saw it. He saved our son and even though he doesn’t have a heart, he knows he loved Allen. He even risked himself to revived Allen back. Isn’t that enough for you to prove that he’s not a monster like what you have thought about the rumours?. He may be a monster in some ways, but he learned how to love.”
Andrew was astounded by his wife’s words. He couldn’t even utter a single word to reason out to her that everything here is so wrong in many ways.
“No Claire. That is a monster and I am not having him just for Allens sake!” He shouted and pushed past his wife and marched towards Marcus and Allens direction. He grabbed his pocket knife behind his jeans and held it with conviction.

“Allen?” Marcus called out in a whisper.
Allen was still burried in Marcus chest, but slowly lifted his head to looked up at his saviour. Marcus smiled and kissed Allen’s forehead and then his pale lips.
“I missed you.” Marcus stated which made Allen smile.
“I miss you too.”
Then suddenly out of nowhere, a sharp object came swinging down Marcus shoulder, luckily, it only managed to rip his clothes, not him and his precious Allen. He couldn’t afford one of them getting hurt or else….
“Dad! Dad! Stop this already!” Allen yelled and he was surprised that he didn’t feel weak and tired. What happened?
“Allen, get away from that monster.”
“No dad. You may be my father but Marcus is not a monster! Its you!” Allen yelled back, making his father froze in shock.
“Marcus was just a lonely toy who wants love. And a love can bring him alive, you were one of those owners who abused and hurt him after finding out that he’s alive, your the monster here dad, not him. A person who couldn’t even know how to give love is worse than a monster, and that is you dad.” Andrew fell to the ground along with pocket knife.
“Dad, I may not be able to live long because of my condition, but this time, just this last request from me, I want to be with the one I love. Can’t you give that to me dad? I deserved it right?” Allen explained. Marcus was so touched by Allens words and without a doubt, kissed him on his full lips.
“I love you Allen.”
“I love you too Marcus.”

“Oi.”
Their attention snapped back to Allens father who was now standing a few feet away from them. In his face etched a beautiful smile that Allen saw for the first time.
“Its so nostalgic hearing my son finally fell in love. And I guess that’s one thing that I wouldn’t hinder you. I love you son, so I’m letting you choose whatever you want. And you…!”
“Marcus sir.”
“Whatever. If you hurt my son, I will have your head.”
Allen jumped out of Marcus and came running to his father and gaved him a tight hug which made the man smiled in satisfaction and returned his hug.
“Thanks dad. I love you.”
“I love you too son.” And the both of them cried.
The scene in front made Marcus somewhat smile, now that everything is settled.
“Thank you for saving my son Marcus.” Claire stated and Marcus smiled.
“Its not a thing ma’m, I love your son.”
“Lets go home everyone so that we can prepare for dinner shall we?” Andrew announces which made everyone smile.
Marcus run up to Allen and they held hands as they walk back to the car like nothing ever happened.
