Since the rumour of the two’s alleged breakup, more rumours begin to stir up as Royals; fans of Mayse, speculate Hyunjin of cheating.
Recently, Mayse had an interview when the host asked about the rumoured breaks up and this was her response: “Hyunjin and I are thinking things through. Nothing as of right now can be neither confirmed nor denied.“
Since then, the belief of a possible breakup turned into a known breakup.
On May 3rd, SM Entertainment released this statement regarding Mayse’s and Hyunjin’s breakup. SM states: “Mayse has informed us that her and [Stray Kids] Hyunjin have mutually called their relationship to an end. We expect fans to be understanding to both artists and support them nonetheless. Reasons [to the breakup] was not provided and we will not invade our artists privacy within their [personal] lives. Regarding Mayse’s [upcoming] album. It will be postponed till she is ready; physically and mentally.”
There you have it!
Our favourite couple of 2018-19 have called it quits after a year and 8 months.
