While I took a shower Rudra changed the sheets with fresh ones before joining me and we again found ourselves in each other’s arms.
We talked about anything and everything. My head rested on his chest, hearing the soft thumping of his heart.
This feeling is different in so many ways, we were close before, yes. But now it feels like we are sharing a single Soul and somehow the intimacy of this moment feels more than few moments ago.
“Are you sore?” Rudra asked gently, his fingers caressing my hairs. I was just wearing one of his shirts, they are comfy and they smell so good, like him.
“A little” honestly the pain wasn’t that bad, yea it stings a little now but the sex, it was awesome! I don’t know what I was waiting for until now, well it wasn’t really me who was waiting. If it were up to me we would be doing it daily. Ok maybe not daily but definitely wouldn’t wait this long.
“I think it won’t be that painful again like the first time,” Rudra said softly reassuring me. I moved my head from his chest to meet his wide eyes, looking at me in confusion,”what happened?” He asked with a confused look.
“When are we doing it again?” I asked excitedly, I think I’m good now, we can go for the second round, and there’s no way I’m going to college tomorrow so there’s no issue about sleep.
Rudra just looked at me for a moment before he burst out laughing causing me to frown,”why are you laughing?”
Rudra looked at me, his eyes soft but mischievous,” I was wondering How I saved myself from you until now”
I glared at him now, fully sitting on his stomach. He was resting his head against the headboard with an arm behind his head ,”yea I imagine how we end up here today” I said sarcastically.he just smirked.
His hand reached circling My waist and pulled me against him, crashing against his chest,” I never said I’m against the idea” he whispered his lips hovering over mine, causing my stomach to flip and I could feel the arousal in my core ruining my new Panties as his hand moved inside gripping my hips.
His lips moved kissing my neck up to the tip of my ear causing me to curl my toes at the sensation, but I sat upright with a jerk as the realization dawned on me,”Rudra! We didn’t use any protection” ohh God We were so careless, neither of us even thought about it,” what if I got pregnant”
“You are saying it like we aren’t married and it’s some scandal” Rudra said moving into a sitting position. I sat down from his lap, not understanding how he could be so relaxed.
“We will meet the doctor tomorrow and you can decide which contraception method is best for you”
“Ohhh” I didn’t think about that, and I can take a pill for tonight. Thank god for a second I was so scared.
“Yea, we can wait until you are ready,”he said holding my hand,,”and I also think we should wait until you are done with college and then think about it”
I settled beside him, his hand behind my back moving in such motion relaxing me. I looked up at his calm face, no hesitation, no uncertainty.
“What about you?” I asked, I know I don’t want children right now but I also have to know what he thinks. It’s not just my decision alone.
“What About me?” He said , His other hand moving towards my cheek, his thumb brushing against it softly.
“What do you think about children?”
“I think they are annoying,” he said casually.
“Rudra!” I know he’s just messing with me knowingly,”I meant our children” He smiled softly as I playfully hit his chest.
This time he looked at me sincerely his eyes filled with nothing but tenderness and pure love as he said,” I’m ready whenever you feel ready” he continued “I’m ready to be a father and for the responsibilities that came with a child but I don’t want you to feel burdened with such big responsibility right now, and what’s the rush we have all our lives”
“you think I will not be a good mother?” I said playfully, narrowing my eyes, to which he just chuckled and pulled me against him placing his chin above my head. I told you he loves being clingy but wouldn’t admit it saying he just does it for me. My husband is big softy at heart.
“No, I just don’t want to share my wife with anyone for some more years” I smiled against his chest at his words, wrapping my arms around his waist in a tight hug and closing my eyes. He’s right we don’t have to rush into anything, we have all the time.
the next morning I woke up And turned to see that Rudra was still sleeping soundly, his one hand wrapped around my waist protectively like he didn’t want me to leave him even in his sleep, his one leg thrown over mine like a comfort blanket. He’s looking so peaceful and cute…..he would glare at me if he heard me calling him cute, I smiled at the thought gently tracing my fingers on his cheeks, his lips, he frowned at the touch but then again went to sleep. He’s really tired after all the meetings then flight and then…our love making,I decided to let him rest and gently removed myself placing a pillow next to him.
I went downstairs to find the puppy was already awake and was roaming in the living room. I picked him up and went to the kitchen,” you must be hungry, right?” I gave him the same food as yesterday. I didn’t have the time to go to the market and buy dog food for him. I will go in the afternoon. I placed the bowl on the floor and he started eating eagerly. I think he loves milk.
Soon Rudra will Wakeup and before he sees the dog I have to prepare a convincing reason to let him stay here.
kuch nhi aa rha kya Krun, I was just thinking when the dog started barking,” shushhh…do you want to get kicked out? I haven’t even thought of a plan to let you stay here” I and he stopped barking looking at me like he understands what I am saying.
I took him out, and left him to roam around the street. He’s small so it’s not like he will run away and it’s early In the morning So there are no vehicles. The door in front of our house opened and Ansh stepped out in his cute pajamas which had doraemon On them. He immediately noticed me and waved excitedly, I waved back with a soft smile.
“How’s he now? Did he eat something? Should I get my milk for him?” He asked excitedly standing beside me as the dog came towards us, nudging Ash’s hand asking him to pet him.
“Why are you asking so many questions together huh ?” I returned his words to tease him with a playful smile. His Cheeks turned red making him look like a tomato as he looked down at the road not meeting my eyes.
“Hey I was just teasing you” I said, ruffling his hair softly.
“Yeah he’s fine now and yes he ate, look he’s all good now”
I dropped to my knees and buried my hands In his fur, he’s so soft, I picked him up and turned to get inside as I watched Ansh looking at us with a sad look.
“Do you want to come inside? You can play with him in the house” I offered gently and saw his face lighting up instantly as he nodded and followed me.
I was preparing some coffee for myself. The dog was laying lazily in his spot where I made a bed for him.
And Ansh was sitting beside him on the ground softly stroking his fur.
“Do you want to drink something?” I asked him from the kitchen.
“No, I’m good, thank you,” he replied politely.
“don’t be so formal, i thought, we are friends right?” I said moving towards him “ so do you like Chocolate milk?” He looked unsure before giving a tiny nod, I smiled,”come with me” I said offering my hand he looked at the dog who was sleeping and held my hand in his tiny one, getting up from the floor.
“How old are you?” I asked taking the milk from the fridge as he was sitting on the kitchen counter.
“I’m four” he replied following my moments. I thought he’s five or six at least, he’s tall for his age. I saw him looking at my face but whenever I caught him he just looked down hiding, “ Do I have something on my face?” I asked, smiling softly, pouring the milk in the glass and slid it to him.
He looked at me guilty, his ears red,” No,” he murmured softly.
“then?” I leaned on the counter to match his height.
“You are so Pretty” he whispered like he was afraid I would scold him. Awww are all children so cute….I think I should tell Rudra that I have changed my mind, i want a child.
“ohh really?” I asked unable to hide my grin at his cuteness.
He just nodded, holding the glass with both hands and taking a sip.
“don’t worry you will also get a beautiful wife one day” I chuckled. He placed the glass down and looked at me with wide eyes, “ will you marry me?”
I lost it now and couldn’t Stop laughing at the cuteness. Goshhh he’s so adorable, “ yea I will, but first you have to grow up” I said catching my breath. His expression brightened visibly at my words, “don’t worry I will drink a lot of milk and grow up fast” he said with a sincere tone,” wait for me ok”.
I wonder how Rudra will react when he finds out that he has a competitor now. I laughed at the thought.
“I will” I played along, “but what if you found someone else when you grow up then what will happen to me” I spoke in a sad tone.
“No, no…I Promise, I will marry you” he said quickly holding his pinky finger.
RUDRA
I turned in bed, expecting my wife to curled around me only to find the bed empty. I opened my eyes and searched the room getting into a sitting posted.
Isha doesn’t wakeup so early usually, I frowned as i pulled my joggers from the wardrobe and went downstairs.
I heard some noises coming from the kitchen, but I already gave leave to our cook who might be she talking to so early, I moved towards the sound only to be halted in my steps as something soft touched my feet, I looked down to find a small ball of fur staring at me with wide eyes.
You have got to be kidding me!
It doesn’t take a genius to know what he’s doing in my house, only my wife is able to give me such pleasant surprises
And that’s why she left me alone in the bed, for a dog.
I already don’t like him, i sighed walking towards the kitchen
“Isha!” I want to see how she would explain this . I’m guessing she already had some dramatic story but still I want to hear it.
I entered the kitchen but halted at the door because one more surprise was waiting for me- a child was sitting on the kitchen counter looking at me like I’m the one who’s sitting in his house at 6 in the morning not the other way around.

Isha was standing infront of him now looking at me with a scared expression, yea we will come to that baby but first I’m going to deal with the kid who was shooting daggers at me with his eyes.
“Who are you?” I asked him, moving closer, he didn’t move his gaze away from me either.
“Who are you?” The boy replied in the same tone.
I just raised a brow at the attitude,” I’m her husband” I said pointing towards my wife who was biting her bottom lip trying not to laugh. Of course she finds it funny that the boy was giving me attitude, like her.
The kid turned his towards Isha, with a look of pure shock and betrayal etched on his face,” you said you will marry me!”
What the hell?
Kiska Bachcha hai ye? Mera bsa basaya ghar todne k plan bna k Betha hai.
“She’s not going to marry you or anyone, she’s already mine”
I stood infront of my wife,who was trying to avoid looking at me ,” care to explain all this?” I said softly, when I left for 3 days I didn’t expect that I would be getting so many surprises but I should know better now that when it comes to my wife anything is possible.
“Di apne in uncle se shadi kyu ki, inhone to dekho kapde bhi nhi pehn Rakhe achche se” the kid said glaring at me as I wasn’t wearing any shirt.
“ he’s not a good boy like me” ohh the poor soul got his heartbroken at such a young age, but he will get over it.
I smirked at him as he keep looking at me with a glare,” you know what” i pulled her closer circling her waist,” she doesn’t like good boys”
I earn a smack at my chest from my wife who was blushing furiously her cheeks flushed as she created some space between us.
“Rudra what are you doing he’s just a child stop it!”
At the same time like telling us he’s also here the dog started barking rubbing his head against her leg.
Great, koi or bhi bcha hai jise meri wife ki attention chahiye to vo bhi ajao.
“Care to tell me what is he doing here?” I asked raising a brow as she licked her lips, which means she’s thinking about a way to convince me. How cute.
She doesn’t even know how transparent she’s.
“He’s mine, I gave him to her just for some days,” the kid said, picking the dog in his lap as I turned my full attention to him. Where are those kids who get shy when they talk to strangers, he looks like he’s more comfortable in my house than his own.
“Rudra let me explain it” Isha said holding my hand, I guess it’s story time.
“So what happened was, I was coming home yesterday and I found him outside crying because he was hurt, I couldn’t just leave him like that” she said softly, swinging my hand.
It was the worst acting I have ever seen in my life but just for the sake of our relationship i will play along.
“What about him?” I asked lifting my chin in the kids direction, who was looking at me with a bored expression like my mere presence ruined his mood.
“You do know that he’s a human’s child not dog’s”

“Rudra! He’s our neighbours kid, they have just shifted a few days ago in the house infront of us” she Said,”actually Ansh was the one who found him”
“Then why’s he in our house?”
“Why do adults ask so many questions” Ansh rolled his eyes, getting up from his place, “I asked her to keep him until I convince mumma to let me have a pet”
Great! The kid is smart enough not to take the dog in his house without his mother’s permission but my wife doesn’t think twice about me before letting people inside our home like it’s some zoo.
“Rudra please let him stay” Isha pleaded “it’s just for few days and i promise i will take care of him, you wouldn’t even know that he’s in our house”
All three of them, were looking at me with the same look in their eyes,
Including the dog.
Ofcourse I’m not so heartless so I just sighed and agreed,” fine, but he can’t stay here forever, i will not hear any excuses”
Their faces lit up completely ignoring my last words.
I looked at my wife grinning ear to ear like the four year old beside her, wondering that she’s the same person with whom I was discussing our children.
I think humare bachche hone k baad bhi Isha ka bachpana khatam nhi hoga, and the thought only makes my lip curve in amusement, she’s really opposite of me in every way and somehow still perfect.
The sound of doorbell echoced in the house as isha moved outside,” I will check who’s it”
We followed her, and the gate opened to find a women fuming with anger but her eyes showing the worry and fear.
“How many times I have to tell you the same thing?” She spatted angryly at Ansh who tried to hide behind Isha his head lowered.
“Don’t hide now, come here!” she snapped angrily.
Ansh moved towards the woman whom I’m guessing is his mother, in slow steps. The resemblance is there, they share the same eyes.
“Hey, please don’t scold him, it was me who invited him inside” Isha said, stepping forward as the other women kept glaring at her son.
Ab college k sath sath padosiyo ki bhi complain sunayegi meri biwi shyd.
“I’m sorry i shouldn’t have let him In without informing you, but don’t be angry at him”
Her expression finally softened a little when she holded her son’s tiny hand in her’s.
“I was so worried for a moment before I watched the doorbell cam” she said softly stroking Ansh’s head.
“Mumma, I’m sorry, i will inform you from next time before coming here”
Yea I’m already excited for future visits, i scoffed mentally.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t come today for lunch, my boss has some urgent meeting so I have to go to office” his mother said apologetically as I just stood behind Isha, thinking why did i thought that something will go as planned Even after knowing my wife perfectly, i sighed mentally noticing the exchange.
“Ohh it’s fine, we can do it some other time, we are neighbours now after all, we will be seeing each other all the time” Isha said, warmly with a bright smile, winking at Ansh who gave her such a bright smile showing all his teeth.
Apni Umar ka crush nhi dhoondha gya is do futiya se, mere he wife mili ise.
“Ohh and let me introduce you to my husband, Rudra,” Isha said excitedly, locking her arm around mine, if I had known before that we would be having an audience in our house I would have put on something, meeting your neighbour half naked is exactly not the first impression anyone would like to make, but that’s technically not my fault, I just wanted to enjoy the morning with my wife in peace before my plans got ruined.
“hii….I’m Aradhya” she greeted with a polite smile.
” it’s nice to meet you” I replied with a nod. Just as She turned to go the boy broke free from her grip and ran towards Isha signaling her to crouch down to his level, when she lowered herself to match his height he wrapped his small arms around her neck in a hug like he had known her forever not from yesterday.
He wishperd something in her ear before walking towards his mother and yea not without giving me a last look. I guess this hostility is reserved only for me.
